The menu showcases a selection of homemade hosomaki, Uramaki, Nigiri, sashimi and Plates alongside an abundance of carefully chosen authentic Robata grill dishes like bulgogi beef, yakiniku rib eye steak, kimchi chicken, Mongolian lamb and miso black cod. The drinks list includes Dewazakura ‘Oka’ Sake, Japanese ‘hibiki’ whisky along with specialty cocktail menu which use ingredients like lemongrass, lychee, fresh wasabi and many more.
Really nice place with good food. They did kick us out 15 min before our 2h slot beacsue the next table was already there which I don’t think it was fair. Overall good food and good value for money.
They never disappoint. One of the best sushi in London, definitely must try!
Really lovely lunch at Oka on a Friday afternoon. Service was friendly and efficient, they were quick with drinks and food came out at a nice steady pace. Most importantly, the sushi itself was absolutely delicious. I look forward to hopefully going back soon. The seared salmon nigiri and tuna tartare were especially yummy. Highly recommend.
Beautiful, high quality food and great service
Great food, great service... but definitely not socially distanced!
great food and experience, would definitely recommend it !
Completely delicious! Lovely staff. SUPER restaurant!!
A great venue close to all the right places fantastic food and service, great value.
Great Japanese in central location. Excellent food, good service, lovely venue.
Great food and fantastic location. Tables a little bit too close together given current situation.
They have exceptionally good sushi rolls, don't miss it!
The best sushi rolls we've had in London and really friendly service, too.
Great food, great service
Favourite restaurant in London!!! The food is always amazing
Excellent sushi and reasonable prices for London. We are definitely going back.
Latest sushi roll came with delay, but food fantastic!
Excellent food ad usual and the service is always friendly. I tried lunch for once as opposed to dinner and the atmosphere is as Nice.
Great food and service. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Would have liked the jasmine tea to have been loose leaf as opposed to a tea bag but it's a minor point really.
Food absolutely delicious and service good. It’s a great spot to eat - small but within kingly court so buzzy too. Two day’s on I’m still thinking about the food
Great food and we were well looked after and I felt COVID Safe guidelines were adhered to.
One of the best sushi in town. Music was a little too loud and tables are a bit too small and chairs not super comfortable. The quality of the food made me forget the rest though.
Excellent cocktails also
A treat as usual!! Probably one of my favourite places!!! Def going back again soon!!!
Amazing food, drinks and service, and an even better playlist!
First time back to Oka since before lockdown in March. It was its usual excellent standard. I would eat here every day if I could. We went early and it was full by 6pm. Staff were great - efficient and friendly. We had prawn tempura, asparagus, dragon roll, and the usual sashimi and nigiri. All fabulous. Highly recommend. And the house wine is good.
Felt very rushed. No one came over to explain that the menu was now a QR code system so we wasted time waiting to be served.
Then when we finally got some starters and were eating, we had someone come over and tell us the table was required back in 10 mins so do we want to order any last minute food. We didn’t order anymore as 10 mins doesn’t seem adequate time to order, receive and eat and be out.
Lovely food, haven’t yet found anywhere else with such a delicious menu!
Waited for 10-15 mins For our table as it wasn’t ready meaning our meal was rushed.
foods good but nowhere near as good as primrose hill
Food sooooo yummy, especially tuna tartare. Staff friendly and efficient, particularly our main waiter who was lovely and attentive without being in your face.
"Oka Kingly Court is an incredible restaurant. The food is consistently of high quality and great taste, the service of the waitstaff and maître d' Nithish is exceptional, and the ambience of this nostalgically decorated sushi shop at the heart of Carnaby Street in Kingly Court make Oka not just my favourite Japanese eatery I would recommend in London, but in my opinion, one of the best restaurants of any cuisine in Central."
Great location, good sushi and very friendly service
Fantastic evening, delicious food, great company.
Extremely good service and food as usual! The only thing I would say given the current situation, I think the restaurant could have done more in the sense of social distancing. I understand it’s a small space, so using every table is necessary, but I have been to other similar restaurants that have screens up between each table. With the pandemic this is the only downfall I found and think the restaurant should consider extra measures, but besides that nothing to complain about!
Amazing food as always!
Super friendly staff & the food is just beyond. I’m so addicted I get a takeaway on a regular basis. One of the best sushi restaurants in the west end!
Doesnt worth it.
Staff was amazing, though! Very kind and helpful.
Seriously adore this place, my favorite place to eat Sushi and the Litchi Mojito is amazing.
Cosy Place in an amazing venue (Kingley Court) , great food.
The salmon tartar is excellent , so is the sushi. Great lichee mojito. The salmon tataki less good.
So glad I chose to come here we had a lovely mix of fresh and flavourful food! Will be back! Tempura soft shell crab was amazing
Friendly staff and excellent sushi.
Can't wait to go back!
Such a great sushi experience.
Highly recommended if you’re in London
