Favorite restaurant in DC + great service! Keep up the great work.
We went for my fiances birthday and we had wonderful time. The crab cakes were absolutely delicious! Our server was amazing and we were truly impressed! I highly recommend Old Ebbitt Grill. Great food, outstanding service and good drinks!
Great as always. I do miss the huevos rancheros for brunch but their shepherd's pie was an excellent substitute! Service is always so good.
Had a lovely dinner with my husband here on a short weekend visit to DC.
Food was great. Our server was wonderful - thank you!!
A wide variety of menu selections creatively concocted. The oyster stew was amazing and not to be missed.
The service is wonderful and the food was out of this world.
Our go-to place when visiting DC. In the center of everything. Great menu and reasonable prices.
Wonderful food, great ambiance and energy.
Truly outstanding dining experience with fantastic food coupled with superior service!
Food was amazing. Location was good. Service was good too, but server could have been a little friendlier. Food is pricey. Atmosphere was wonderful.
Our server was very attentive and made lunch suggestions. The food was great as always.
I celebrated my birthday and it was wonderful. The service was great and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Vacation: on Spring Break
Great food! Beautiful setting! Must eat when in DC
Old Ebbitt Grill is a must if visiting Washington, DC. A historic building with elegant atmosphere and great food!
Vacation dinner. Great spot
A DC favorite! The atmosphere is energetic and the food is outstanding.
I dine at Old Ebbitt weekly, it is one of my favorites. In fact I am scheduled to have lunch there again tomorrow but thinking of changing venue. Food was "meh," I was seated in the back back room, and the waiter messed up my order.
The food was delicious and the staff was amazingly helpful. We will DEFINITELY go back next time we're in DC.
Alexis was a great server..we all enjoyed the cuisine
Great restaurant; great atmosphere.
We enjoyed our time at Old Ebbitt Grill., We ate at a lot of places on our trip to Washington, but the Grill had the absolute best service of all. The food was exceptional; I had the meatloaf and my friend had the crab. But most of all the care that our server took of us made our evening great.
Wonderful atmosphere and wonderful service. We enjoyed our meal very much!
Overall experience was great, a little noisy but the food and service were wonderful.
This place is always a good go to- awesome food and service!
Excellent well-timed service!
Old Ebbit's is a classic and has been good every time I've been there (which is many over the years.) It was packed but service was still excellent. Definitely will remain one of our regular spots.
We had a longer wait than expected since we had reservations, but it’s such a great place we’ll come back whenever we’re in DC.
The Old Ebbitt Grill never disappoints! As always, service was efficient — all food and drinks arrived spaced as expected, never felt rushed by the highly attentive wait staff. Food was outstanding — between the four of us we had a variety of appetizers (oysters/calamari/crab & artichoke dip) followed absolutely fantastic crab cakes! Desserts were also exceptional (flourless chocolate torte was our collective favorite). Last comment: while they do a nice job of accommodating walk-in’s, advance reservations highly recommended.
Everything we ordered cocktails, seafood tower and desert were delicious.
Service was just the right mix of attentiveness without making us feel rushed. The happy hour raw bar prices were extremely reasonable! We’ll be back for more after the craziness that is going on. Very noisy and crowded for a Sunday mid-afternoon.
I don't think you'll ever receive a bad review from me about Old Ebbitt Grill. This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The freshest and most delicious oysters I've had on the east coast. I go often but wouldn't mind going more.
The waitress was rude, food was subpar, ambiance was dated
It was a good place to eat. Over 50.00 for brunch was a bit much but I expected it. Good was good with great flavor. My only issue was that the chicken wings were very tiny.
Food was fantastic as always. Service was a bit inattentive and slow, but otherwise our visit was great.
This was one of the most basic, bland, boring, uncreative meals I have eaten in a long time. I cannot understand the hype and all of the good reviews. It must be because of the liquor because the food was unmemorable. Will never be going back, there are way better restaurants in DC that are actually worth it. This place serves diner food.
Delicious meal, lively environment, lovely decor. Always fun to dine at the OEG!
Fine restaurant.... Enjoyed every minute of it will certainly be going back
