The friends I went with looked
It was fine. Pizza good but Cesar salad was meh
One of my favorite restaurants in west village! Professional service and fair prices. Love it
Amazing food and service!
A very nice outdoor dining experience in NYC during the COVID crisis.
Staff was friendly and attentive. My friend is a vegan and does not drink and they accommodated him nicely. Food was hot, delicious and fresh. They are careful about social distancing and cleanliness. Prices are high but if you can afford it, it is well worth it. Nice for special
Great food and service!
Really enjoyed the food. Service was great. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.
Very cute outdoor dining setup. Tables are a bit too close to each other. Food was great. We ordered the Vongole, and Bianche prosciutto pizza with ricotta cheese. Vongole was a bit salty but fresh pasta made it great. Service was great too. Would go back for a casual lunch
I had a reservation for the 9:30 slot, but from the beginning, I felt that they were about to close. I understand that due to the COVID situation restaurant are allowed to be open until 11:00 pm, but the staff started taking away the tables and the chairs (and everything!) around 10:15. From that moment I felt that I needed to eat fast and just go. There were glass separations between each table, and they took away ours while we were still eating. The staff was telling us that they were very sorry, but I think they should make the last reservation for 9:00 pm instead of 9:30 pm so the clients dont need to be rushing while eating. I was super disappointed because the food was really good, but I didnt enjoy it at all due to all this situation.
Great food and atmosphere!
This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in NYC, let alone during COVID. The staff was SO attentive, we didn't want for anything. The GM did two touch ups to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Our reservation was exactly on time. The food was incredible, fresh, and good value. AND they were packed on a Friday night! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this meal.
Olio e Piu never disappoints. Their outdoor setup is fantastic, on a wide open intersection with nice neighborhood views, and the service is great, and the food is always excellent.
I will be back.
We ordered three popular dishes, octopus, spaghetti chitarra alla carbonara, and Caprese. They were all delicious.
BTW, the outdoor seating is good for taking photos.
The tables are spaced too close together outside. The panels were placed practically right up against the tables and gave us very little room to move or even cut our food. The experience was a bit claustrophobic. Don't know if I'd go back for that reason.
Wait staff and food outstanding
Will be back soon
really fine food! If you had a glass of wine, you could feel like you were in Paris
Perfect for outdoor dining. Drinks are always good, and the staff welcoming.
Loved the food and service there! Would come back again and recommend to others.
Delicious food and wonderful overall experience. Bravo!! Can't wait to go back soon.
The Carbonara was fantastic and my boyfriend enjoyed his Bolgonese as well. The Ricotta Bruschetta was also good, though truffle is not my favorite. Only real downside was service was slow, took about 30 mins after receiving our appetizer to put in our food order. Food came out very fast though! Overall a good meal, and good experience!
nice ambient and good wine. we had a pizza and carbonara, both were tasty. Price in line with the area
Very polite staffs and amazing food. One of the best carbonara that I’ve ever tasted.
We loved Olio, it was a wonderful vibe, outdoor garden feel, terrific service and the food was great! We cannot wait to go back.
Great location, loved the drinks menu. Staff friendly and efficient.
Nice place even in the times of Covid-19. We where just longe waiting to ordering because nobody was explaining us that we should use the paper from the table to see the menu on our phon. But they have free wifi and after this it was working fast.
the setting is beautiful filled with plants and flowers. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.
We booked a 10pm reservation at the restaurant, however, when we arrived they informed us that the kitchen was closing at 10:15. We were subsequently rushed through our entire meal and our waitress had an attitude the whole time and rolled her eyes prior to serving us because we had the last reservation. This resulted in a poor dining experience. We expected great service especially for the price of the food, but instead received overpriced standard pizza accompanied with inadequate service
Food was great! Our party arrived 15mins early and we got seated right away!
Always go for their fusilli e manzo, the braised beef is the best!
Me and my girlfriend came here for lunch and I must say, it was some of the best pasta I have ever had. The service staff was friendly, and helpful. The ambiance was some of the best I’ve hade in a covid outdoor dining world. Many of the places I have been too have had shoddy hastily set up outdoor dining experiences, but none of that can be said about olio e Piu. I will absolutely be returning and look forward to trying some of the other mouthwatering dishes on the menu.
Fourth time for me, first time in pandemic. They've handled it well. The outdoor tables are separated by plexiglass partitions. The food as usual is tasty and the wine list is appropriate. The service is excellent. A minor issue for me is that the eating space within the partition is a bit tight but manageable
Amazing food and plenty options for vegetarians! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
Great food & ambiance. I felt safe dining out due to the dividers and the hygiene steps the staff used. Looking forward to coming back.
Incredible from start to finish. The food and service is comparable to a Michelin star establishment.
Great service and delicious cacio e pepe! We sat outside on a beautiful night!
Was really nice to have the barriers between all the tables outside. Felt very comfortable to eat there.
Nice atmosphere, food just average
Our visit to Olio e Piu was the first eating outdoors since March of this year. Although we ordered in from different restaurants, the visit to this restaurant was our first visit. I selected Olio because of its high ratings and the way it divided it’s outdoor space using partition and nice flowers and greenery. I love Italian food, especially pasta. My wife on the other hand also likes Italian food but not so much pasta. However, when we looked at the menu, we both decided to order different pasta dishes. We shared both, they were both FANTASTIC! Our waiter was very helpful going over the menu. Since this was our first visit to Olio, I had no expectations either way .... BUT, it was a fantastic find and we will go back very soon. The homemade pasta is amazing.
We had a reservation and the hostess was quite rude and abrupt and wanted to put in the sun. Finally, got a table in the shade, the waitress was pleasant and matter of fact. One person in our party was gluten free and as there was no gluten free pizza, had to get pasta. Pasta dish with beef was eaten but not really enjoyed. Other plates were okay, but nothing special.
I understand in the time of COVID, things are different but was disappointed with the experience and will not be back.
