Good very good but service got slow when we needed to leave
Amazing food and staff! Great atmosphere 👍🏻
Was warned of a wait for food, but there wasn't any. Service was friendly and relaxed, but very efficient. Food was all fantastic. The octopus and aubergine stew particularly good.
Adreana is amazing. Very attentive and knew her stuff. A star ⭐️
We’ve been here 4 times this year and loved the previous experiences. The prices have increased but the food quality has dropped. Not dreadful but not worth the money. The waiting service is excellent though. Probably won’t be back after last night.
Very nice place, food was excellent, not much more to say!! If you're in the area, give it a try.
Enjoyed our meal at Olive Grove. Food was very good, service good
Lovely helpful hardworking attentive staff.. Food was tasty . Unfortunately ran out of what I really wanted but they were very busy
Really enjoyed the food, portion size was great Aaron our waiter was attentive and knowledgable
Absolutely fantastic service & a lovely seating area outside. The food was good but slightly oily for my taste. I know it’s Mediterranean but I would have preferred the dishes without the drizzle of oil over every dish. The desserts were lovely but you can’t see it on the original menu so remember to ask. Overall I would return for the service & the dessert menu alone.
Guaranteed great food, great atmosphere, great service. Always leaving feeling satisfied.
First visit but not last. As Greek, I have a very high standard about restaurants serving Greek food. Only one word: delicious. Fresh made plates, full of flavour and aromas like I was in Greece. Service very friendly. Our waiter, Panos I think his name, was very patient with our children and their requests and his suggestions spoke straight to our Greek taste. Highly recommended. Definitely will go back.
Small menu but kitchen still failed to deal with being half full. Small expensive tapas that was nice but service was slow with dishes arriving at different times. Decor is dated and a bit grubby.
Great food and staff were excellent. They advised us on the size of the dishes and were really helpful. Quiet due to end of season / early evening but will definitely return As the quality of the good was so good.
Olive Grove is always a lovely place to eat. The food is exceptional, staff, pleasant and friendly and overall experience is always very good
Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere, great service. Can be highly recommended
Absolutely lovely experience for a relaxed Sunday lunch with our family. Waiter was brilliant - made our kids feel grown up but special. Tapas was just stunning - the best we’ve eaten in a long time. Courtyard setting is gorgeous and attractive spaces inside too.
We arrived at the restaurant on spec to be told they were Fully booked for the next 2.5hrs & we had to book online via opentable rather than there & then. We duly did this which was understandable. We also told that they were fully booked for the next 2.5 hrs.
So we happily went off & got a drink. Then by chance turned up 1 hr later only to discover they had plenty of empty tables!
The food easy very tasty & the small portions were just great! So basically don’t be put off by the booking system!
Amazing tasty food and excellent service from the lovely American waiter
Food was great! Try the wild mushrooms. Outdoor table was a bit unstable, spilled my wine.
Good food, good atmosphere, good wine. Perfect for a date night
Really lovely place to eat, the only thing that I disliked was the cocktails
Lovely evening celebrating a 50th Birthday. All the food was superb and the waiters very attentive to vegan requirements among the party.
Looking forward to going back.
Brilliantly styled restaurant, gives proper chilled Mediterranean holiday vibes, with the quality of food to match!
Transports you straight to the Mediterranean. Wonderful food.
Really enjoyed ourselves - lovely courtyard and it was sunny - food v tasty and friendly helpful staff explained the menu well - I’d go again
Lovely outside patio dining area. Good food and very good service.
You need to book a table to get in to this very popular restaurant. The food is excellent and service superb. We were two groups of six and we only have praise for a wonderful lunch. Thank you to the Olive Grove team.
Delicious food and drinks, great service and lovely atmosphere
Rather quiet - a little difficult to find down some small side streets which is why this place was probably not very busy. Good service and very good food which came quickly and was obviously freshly cooked. Got busier later in the evening which improved the ambience. Large outdoor terrace which was uncovered so do dress accordingly. Plenty of seating inside if you prefer. Filo pastry dishes were delicious and the feta cheese was lovely.
Came to Brighton for Watford game with my son Friday night. Hadn't been to Olive Grove since last time Watford played. My son & I really enjoyed food, ambience & friendly efficient service, which made our weekend special. Only disappointment was Watford losing !
Excellent food, service and a really nice setting. Highly recommended.
Lovely secluded place to eat in The Lanes. Food and service was very good. Would throughly recommend this place.
Really enjoyed this spot in Brighton! Really good food and really good vibe. It made me feel happy. However, maybe I'm out of touch with the tapas way of doing things, but I would've appreciated a little bit more food for the amount I payed for. £10 for what in most restaurants would be considered side dishes did feel eye watering to pay for.
I was very happy with the service, great people, very pleasant atmosphere. However, I would not recommend buying the sliced sirloin. The meat was chewy, fibrous and unpleasant to eat.
Also, as I realised after leaving the place, I was charged for a big glass of wine but given a small one. That left a bit of a bitter ‘aftertaste’ and other than for a nice atmosphere, I would not recommend the place - not for the food and prices.
Food was amazing!! And lovely service too, couldn’t recommend it enough!
Lovely food, good service and friendly atmosphere
Just on holiday for a few days and stumbled across the Olive Grove, found the food exceptional and went back again the following day to sample the tapas we missed. It was better then the day before, if you ever visit I would thoroughly recommend the wild mushrooms. My most favorite
The food here is absolutely delicious ina great atmosphere. Nicer when the sun is out and can sit in the courtyard but perfect either way
