I’ve always wanted to go there. Decor and ambiance was stunning. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. We will return
We loved everything about this place; as guests of the hotel the entire staff including at O&B have been spectacular. The food at O&B delicious from breakfast to dinner. The Fallicious menu a must. Thank you for a divine time!
Great service and food will definitely visit again
Very disappointed to be greeted with a warning that we had to be out by 8:15 to accommodate another reservation. We had a reserved a table for 6:30 for our family Thanksgiving dinner. We just felt the way they greeted us was rude and it put us off our whole meal. The food and service were pretty good, but seems like they're more concerned about turnover. Will choose somewhere else next time.
The Cesar salad was average with tasteless croutons, my braised beef was tough dry on the outside and was on top on over cooked gnocchi and over cooked water greens in a sloppy mess. My husband had the back and cheese which he couldn’t even enjoy or taste anything other then the strong cheese on top that cheese is meant to flavor food not over power it, it was disgusting and he loves strong cheese but not when that’s all you taste out of your entire plate . The only good I can say about this place is the fries with the garlic aioli were great along with the Jalapeño Margarita and our waiter but I will never be back or recommend it. My suggestion is a new chef.
Great service. Very good food. Somewhat limited menu but overall excellent,
Outstanding service! This is one restaurant that excels at customer service in every aspect. From the bar service to the dining service, from wine recommendations to food/allergy accommodations, I feel well taken care of whenever we visit. It is really the staff that make this restaurant what it is. They are personable and positive, and seem to go above and beyond to accommodate their guests, which is something that you do not come across that often in the restaurant industry anymore.
Considering we were the only people there for most of our visit the service wasn't as attentive as it could be. We had to ask to have our water topped up multiple times.
The service was good overall just not as attentive.
Absolutely loved our dining experience here. The hosts, servers, bartenders (especially Nick) are awesome. We can't wait to come back!
Service was fabulous. Waitress Attentive and very helpful to explain different dishes. Enjoyed it do much, We came back next day for breakfast ❤️
My experience at Oliver and bonacini was not what I expected. I thought it would have been a good night out with my family celebrating my birthday. Everything was going good until we took our first bit into our appetizers. The grilled calamari was rubbery. We understand that it can happen and we are not picky eaters so we remained clam and waited for our main entree. My 10oz steak looked beautiful but I couldn’t eat it because everything on that plate was too salty. My son is a big rib eater and he complained that the sauce tasted like ketchup. My other son had a burger and he also wasn’t impressed. Everyone else just said their food was ok. I guess we had very high expectations from Mr Bonacini. We chose to another restaurant at Blue Mountain to have coffee and dessert.
Great place and great staff and for was perfect!
We had the most amazing time for our anniversary. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and stewing in yummy Brown butter. Our entrees came quickly after, both the miso trout and the strip loin was cooked perfectly. If there is one thing I would suggest everyone try, it's the truffle fries. The truffle aioli it comes with was life changing.
As it was our anniversary the staff signed a card thanking us for celebrating with them, and brought us a lovely dessert.
The best part about the dinner was the customer service. Kyle was on top of everything and made us feel like we were being well taking care of. We had an amazing experience.
Food was good. But overpriced. Friendly staff. Probably won't be back.
I dined with two other people and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly and helpful service and the delicious food. The braised short rib and mushroom ravioli were absolutely amazing. We will definitely be returning!
Simply "OK". Overpriced in my opinion but what isn't in Blue Mountain? Service was quite good.
I went there with my girlfriends to celebrate friend's bday. At the end of our meal, they gave my friend a bday card. All of us were very impressed with their thoughts and sweetness.
The food was lovely. All of my party mentioned how nice their dish was. A little bit pricey but as it’s on resort it’s sort of expected. The half price bottle of wine on a Wednesday was a bonus.
Michelle was our server and we found her attentive, courteous and very accommodating. The food was fantastic and came out quickly but not rushed
Had to wait for 20 mins before ordering and then another 30-40 mins for the food to arrive, the whole time without anyone coming to see us or give an update. Terrible service.
It wasn’t my favourite place to go to especially for our 19th wedding anniversary dinner. We thought it would be a quieter ambiance but unfortunately it wasn’t. We were told there would be gluten free hamburgers when I called in to confirm options for my son. Unfortunately was disappointed when we sat down and ordered. No gluten free hamburgers. What can you do. Can’t always win. Although there was gluten free pasta as an option.
The food and service were outstanding. The ambiance was poor. This is a restaurant not a dance bar. The music volume was unacceptable and we successfully asked to be moved as we could not even hear our server talk about the specials. I have been to the restaurant a few times and the music volume has never been at that level before (dining time was 7:00PM). I would reconsider going back again unless I was guaranteed a table well away from the front. If another table was not available, we would have left.
Ate here on Friday morning and food and service where excellent. Came again on Saturday morning and food was excellent and service was good but could have been more attentive. We are on balcony and had to come to ask for jam and then had to come in when we where done to ask for the check. Not a big deal at all but not the level of service you typically get here. I’ll for sure be back.
Our server KYLE made our experience lovely. He was very attentive and a good conversationalist. However, I had mentioned several times it was my daughters birthday and no one seemed to know anything and that was disappointing. This was the reason I chose the restaurant. Kyle handled it well.
Outstanding as always, however it was an extremely long wait to get the final bill as the clients were anxious to begin their tour - long wait to have someone come by to ask for the bill and long wait to receive it
Service was great. But the food was pretty bad for O&B standards from other locations. Examples - undercooked potatoes and way too much salt for the shisito peppers (had to request them remake the dish)
We eat at O&B BlueMountain a lot and love it! The food is always amazing, service is outstanding and on our most recent visit there was an awesome DJ spinning tunes on the patio. The music and overall vibe of the restaurant made for the perfect summer night. We also really love the cocktails. We think the bar staff go out of their way to craft some really great ones and we are never disappointed! Great place!
Food wasn’t worth the price paid.
Service was extremely slow, yet the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. kids were hungry and cranky
We took our kids who are picky eaters and they absolutely loved it. Great place to have quality food with your family.
Yes! Celebrated a small bachelorette party - staff were great and helped make our night memorable
Great atmosphere on the deck. Food was good as was service
Chose this location for a surprise birthday brunch in July. Made an advance booking (but that was not really required as it wasn't busy) but the on-line booking process gave us a time when the kitchen was actually closing. A staff member then had to call days later to advise, changed to an earlier time, then I had to advise guests (some driving in from out-of-town) of the last-minute hiccup.
The service was quite good, not left waiting nor were we rushed. The server was right on her game when mimosas were finally available at 11:00. As well, she covertly arranged a birthday treat surprise which everybody shared. In the end, she also did a correction on the bill (in my favour) when I messed up the math in charging it to the room.
The food was good, but nothing to write home about. (2 days in a row undercooked over-easy eggs came out of the kitchen) The Happy Hour bar bites the day before were most enjoyable.
Value-wise it was as expected, the place is a bit upscale and it's located in an upscale resort, usually populated by people who probably really don't care about what things cost.
Still, not a bad place for a special lunch or dinner if staying over or just on a day-trip to the Blue Mountains.
Overall a good experience. We've been going here for years and bread used to be included but now they are no longer providing complimentary bread. Veggies and hummus dip appetizer was too difficult to eat as it came in one deep bowl with the dip at the bottom. Too difficult to share. Our meals were all good and overall we were happy to eat here. We always look forward to coming to Oliver and Bonacini every year.
My fiancé and I were in Blue for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to find an Oliver and Bonacini in the Village and were eager to go for dinner.
Chad our server and Nick the bartender were outstanding. Both were knowledgeable, attentive, and easy to converse with.
We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great setting & views. Fusion spin on italian cuisine.
Was not busy yet it took an hour to get out entrees.
Everything was fantastic! I ended up bringing an extra guest as the client's wife wanted to do a site tour for her company as well, and the lunch could not have been better! Amazing service, we were late for our reservation but seated right away and the food was outstanding. Thank you for making me look good! A big shout out to our server, I think his name was Ethan and he was very attentive during our entire meals without being overbearing, which the clients commented on :)
The place had real curb appeal, but just didn’t deliver on either great food or service. The service was almost non-existent.
