As always food was yummy! My issue was the service was super slow! We did go at lunch downtown so no surprise it was busy but it seemed like everyone around was getting their food except for us! We had to actually follow-up because it took 40 minutes for our food to come out after our apps! We think someone forgot! And we spent our entire visit having to find and call over our waitress outside of the drink order.
Requested quiet table; placed in bar with 2 rowdy large groups. Awful experience.
Great meal and impecable service! Will definitely come again.
I was surprised and disappointed with our experience at O&B after having had many very enjoyable meals there previously. We had to be seated in the bar because the dining room was closed at 1:30pm which I didn’t realize but okay. The food was fine but and the server was poor, she was very inattentive and didn’t have a service-oriented manner. She didn’t bring everything we ordered and my husband had to go find her to ask after more than half an hour waiting for coffees. She didn’t offer a dessert menu and seemed preoccupied with flipping her hair and walking around. It’s off-putting in a food establishment for the server to play with their hair and then handle your food and glasses. Very disappointed as we came for a special celebration with people important to us.
I only had one complaint that we received our main meal very shortly after we received our starter consequently we weren’t ready to eat our main. Other than that it was great!
I was surprised the menu offered much less than other O and B restaurants I've been to. This was disappointing. Waited awhile for the bill. Had to put our coats on and signal waiter.
We were disappointed about the smaller menu because it was show night. We have eaten there many times and have never experienced that before. Wish we knew that before hand we would if picked another O and B restaurant.
The service was delightful. The food was good. It is a nice place to spend an evening with friends.
Greeted with a smile, seated promptly. Service was great they had enough staff to cover the large volume of people..very attentive, gave there recommendations. Food was fresh, delicious tasting and huge portions. One complaint was one of our party had the steak and it came with fries, they would have liked if there was a choice. 2 other in the party had the Ruben sandwich and I had pan tai..both were great.
Food was great and the noise level was fine - my companion and I could have a conversation without yelling. But glad we made a reservation - it was a Wednesday and it was packed!
Lunch party for 5 - great table, noise level manageable, so conversation was easy! Food and service were excellent!
We went for Sunday brunch. Food, service and atmosphere were all great. It was a friend’s birthday and they gave us a complimentary piece of cake which was big enough for all 6 of us to have a bite or two. :) The underground parking is so convenient and after being validated is $2, a real bargain for downtown Toronto!
Food quality disappointed me over the last two times. Service has generally been slow for me. Love the ambience.
Was not impressed with the lamb burger. Looked like it was out of a box and didn’t taste too good. Both myself and friend felt the same way. Unimpressed
Staffs were incredible, they were very accommodating
The choice of table location was excellent; the brunch menu sufficiently varied to allow ample choice; and the waiter excellent. To be asked to drink cider from a Mason jar was surprising and not consistent with the restaurant's brand. If you have to use Mason jars, give the customer a choice of that or a conventional glass.
Great food and perfect location for Meridian Hall performance afterward.
Waiter went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. They noted in our reservation that it was my parents’ anniversary and they offered a dessert on the house.
Great meal and fantastic service, definitely coming back for more!
First time here and found all good overall
Not near as good as the last few times, don't think you'll see us back, think we'll be looking for another pre show dinner place.😢
Went there for Lunch and overall experience was average. Food was ok, have tasked better fish and chips and sausage rigatoni at other local pubs for half the price. Dessert nothing special as well.
Food was good (calamari, cauliflower and spring rolls, rigatoni), but for an empty restaurant the service was slow / non-existent. Our server disappeared completely (no desert / coffee / after dinner drinks offered once plates cleared), leaving us to continue to flag other staff down, not the end of the world but certainly annoying.
Not very busy for a Saturday night- weird atmosphere. Appetizers were alright, a bit expensive for the amount of food (calamari & spring rolls). The shrimp vermicelli bowl was terrible- sent back immediately. The shrimps were way over cooked and the taste of the bowl was terrible. Server was great and immediately offered me an alternative. Ended up having the 33 burger with sweet potato fries- it was excellent. My husband had a steak and it was good as well. Overall experience was still ok - was unfortunate my husband was done his meal for over 10mins by the time I got to eat. Did not have time to try a dessert. Server did a good job trying to save the experience. Would not return as overall it was not worth it.
Hair on the table. Had to ask Waiter to clean table. Not good.
Service was very slow. Waited almost as hour for our entree.
The food was very average. The grains in the power grains bowl (sashimi and grilled salmon) was undercooked and the salmon did not taste as fresh as it should for sashimi.
The restaurant was not very busy yet there was a problem with our order ( we weren't in a hurry). The one thing that saved the day was that the server was outstanding and attentive and kept the communication upbeat and active. The sweet Potato fries were the best I have ever had and the curry soup was outstanding!
Everything was great! Stopped in for a quick lunch, glad they were on opentable. In from another country, unfamiliar with the area, what a great find!
We enjoyed our dinner, both the food and service were very good.
We were a party of 4. My husband & I loved our meal selections, and the happy hour wine. However the couple with us were not as satisfied. One requested no cheese on her pizza and got it anyway, even after sending it back once. And her partner wanted cheese but her pizza was served without. My husband & I shared the carrot cake with sour cream gelato and it was awesome. So our meal was great, and it was a gift certificate from the other couple.
Second visit and enjoyed the dining experience again. Great food, service, and the cost is reasonable. Our waiter was a mind reader. Pretty impressive!
Great vegan options! Falafel bowl had far too many chickpeas...
The servers are well trained, the food is delivered fast and the coffee is very good. Visit this restaurant at least 2 times per month during the fall and winter.
Overall, good. A bit loud. Not conducive to a quiet conversation.
I used to love this place, but now it has gone downhill. Portion sizes are smaller and food quality is lacking. Service was mediocre at best. I probably will not return.
Very disappointed in the experience for our 40th Anniversary, which I specified in the reservation.
It was very loud, and my husband Mahi Mahi was dry and overcooked.
The room was very loud, and the appetizer Spring rolls were poorly presented, and overcooked.
The Desert of gelato was skimpy, and ordinary!
We had looked forward to this, and had our family from Altanta with us, so not happy!
My first time at this restaurant and it was an overall pleasant experience. The service was friendly and efficient, there was a good food selection to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences and the food quality was good. I will definitely be back.
My waiter was Mark and he was extremely attentive and polite, food was tasty and came quickly and lovely presentation!
Service was prompt and the vibe was excellent but the food...terrible...worst I have ever had...Would never go back...
