This was the first time we dined at One Lincoln. We were very pleased with the food, the seating (as this one one of the few times we have been out during Covid) and the entire team was very nice to ensure were were being served appropriately. We ended up going back a second night!
Crab cakes were delicious! No fillers. Roasted vegetables were plentiful and a great variety. Included Brussels sprouts, my favorite among others.
Too full for dessert so we passed.
The crab cake meal was delicious as well at the peanut butter cup martini for dessert! I would recommend
Excellent food! Pricey but the portions are large.
Food was very good. Service was a bit slow considering there were not many people there, but overall a good experience.
Awesome service and great food
Overall we enjoyed brunch at One Lincoln. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful morning. The patio is nicely set up. The traffic noise was pretty bad so if we go again we might choose to sit inside. Nothing the staff can do about traffic. Server was friendly and helpful and attentive while not intrusive. She did have a problem putting in our order which delayed the meal. Also our fruit cup came after our meals which seemed odd. My wife had eggs Benedict which she said was excellent. I had shrimp and grits. Flavors on my dish were well thought out and executed. The shrimp were a bit over cooked otherwise a nice dish. We would eat here again if in the area.
We were a party of 4 for brunch. The restaurant was not crowded. Two orders were messed up - my husband's stuffed french toast was extremely delayed - although his side of bacon came with everyone else's food. Our friend's side of bacon did not come with her main entree but came later with my husband's french toast. They did comp the french toast. The complimentary pastries they served before our meal were delicious.
I met a friend for lunch on Saturday. They seated us early as we arrived before our reservation. My friend has multiple food allergies which they gladly accommodated. The food was excellent. Our waiter Paul was outstanding. We can’t wait to go back.
I really like this restaurant but the young waitress we had on this occasion barely paid attention to us, which was extremely off putting.
Very reasonably priced brunch. Good selection. Food was also very good. Server very attentive. Would happily return.
Great food! Nice atmosphere. Nice location. Service was slow. Price was a little high. Wait staff was friendly and courteous.
This was our first time dining at One Lincoln. It was our anniversary AND valentines day. All in all the experience was a good one although they seemed to be a little overwhelmed (due to the number of reservations??). The service was good but food preparation was slower than it should have been with the limited menu they had. The food was delicious. We had seafood cocktail, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, steak & salmon all of which were perfectly prepared with nice presentation. Our waitress was attentive and appropriately apologetic for the slowness of our food getting to us and offered to take the cost of our bottle of wine off our check. I'm sure we will return to One Lincoln in the future.
Best salad I’ve EVER had. The dressing was to die for. Overall the food was wonderful. The service was extremely slow even though it wasn’t that crowded
The food was ok but I'm not dying to go back. The atmosphere and service was good though.
Window seat overlooking the town square
Terri made the perfect cosmo- she never disappoints
Split a salad since I knew the portions were generous
The scallops were cooked to perfection
Worst representation of shrimp and grits I’ve ever had with watery instant grits and freezer burnt shrimp. My husband had the crab Mac and cheese and barely palatable.
Very disappointed in the meal, paid $170.00 for two people we both had the filet mignon, not sure how it was cooked but it had no flavor and the texture was more like roast beef.
Perfect way to ring in the new year! Delicious food and great service!
The food needs to improve in this famous hotel. I had a piece of previously frozen sea bass on a plate far too many cannellini beans. Hubby had boar chops that were like shoe leather. With French Fries? They need a new chef with much more innovation and drive. We were disappointed.
Nice setting. Good food. Enjoyed my visit
Food was good wait staff was wonderful however the maitre’d made you feel like you were bothering him. He was not a pleasant person nor did he welcome you. We tried the restaurant twice figuring he just had a bad day. However his attitude was the same on the second visit. The restaurant is not cheap and if i am going to spend over $100 for my husband and i for a meal, i would like to feel that my business is appreciated. This man did not give you that feeling. There are numerous other restaurants to eat at in this area that has just as good food and waiters and they appreciate your business.
Decent place overall. Closer to good home chef than professional. I dont feel need to go back but i wouldnt say no to meeting a friend there for dinner when in Gettysburg.
I would recommend the food for sure. I think their wait staff needs a lot of training in professionalism. The decor was nice.
Our waitress was both inattentive and inexperienced
Service was a little slow; food quality was subpar for the cost. Would have expected a much better based on prices.
Would definitely come again and most certainly recommend to others
Thanksgiving this year was very disappointing. My family and I had a wonderful experience for Thanksgiving 2018, which was our first Thanksgiving experience at One Lincoln. The food was wonderful and our table accommodations were roomy (corner booth table). After that, it was a no brainer that we would return for Thanksgiving 2019. I called the restaurant personally instead of using OpenTable.
However, Thanksgiving 2019 left a lot to be desired. The main dish was not as good as last year, the waitress, while friendly and professional, was overworked, frazzled and seemed to be the only one working the tables. We were crammed into a strip of tables that were only separated by several feet. We were entirely too close to the neigboring tables to the point that we felt like we were included with their dinner party. The Irish Coffee with dessert was missing the whipping cream on top and the waitress was too busy to bother. There will not be a Thanksgiving 2020 at One Lincoln for our famly.
Food was simply OK... nothing special. There are a number of better choices in Gettysburg
Great environment in downtown historic Gettysburg. The filet and NY strip cooked exactly as ordered. Wonderful side of fresh asparagus. Great service and selection of wine!
The gluten free choices are greatly appreciated. I wish that your menu would offer small plates for those with a smaller appetite. I was unable to finish half of the ravioli. Paul's service was impeccable!
I thought the restaurant was decorated very well. I particularly like that you had a good view of the traffic circle and adjacent neighborhood out side the windows. The food was excellent and the service was also very good. The restaurant with attached bar are part of the Gettysburg Hotel which made for a very nice package for the evening. I look forward to returning to the restaurant.
Horrible service. Could barely get drinks. Waitress stopped by once maybe during dinner. Food ok. Red pepper bisque tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup. Actually Campbell’s is better. Wouldn’t go back.
I really wanted to give a better review but there are some kinks that need to be worked out. Made a reservation for 5 pm so we could make a 7 pm show. We were seated promptly and our food order placed by 5:20. Sadly our entrees did not arrive until 6:30 pm and we ended up inhaling our food and 3 in our party just decided to get take out boxes rather than face indigestion from eating so fast. We told our server and one other that we were trying to catch a show earlier so the delay just seems inexplicable. Worse was that one person in our party had mashed potatoes that were cold! The one pro is that they were great about subbing sides given food allergies and dietary needs. We don’t fault the server but the restaurant needs to work our timing of meals. Over 1 hour to get food is not what we expected. I paid a good amount for a meal I did not get to taste.
Good menu with good prices. Very busy restaurant and I strongly recommend you make reservations. Extremely popular with the locals. We enjoyed our meals, but it was noisy.
We have eaten at One Lincoln several times over a period of years. The ambiance is good but the food has not been great Based on its cost. The server was pleasant and professional but not attentive enough to the small things like water as the meal progressed.
Steak, salmon and boar entrees were excellent. French Onion soup excellent. Cheese cake dessert delicious. What separates One Lincoln from the truly excellent fine dining establishments, however, are the small touches of service one expects. Examples: when you have a reservation and ask to sit at a different table than the one offered it shouldn’t be an issue. To be told “that table is reserved” makes little sense since the manager admitted all he would need to do was change it in the restaurant’s computer. Why do you need to ask for bread when all the tables around you have bread? Dishes should be cleared before dessert is offered. Empty drink glasses should not clutter the table. The level of service needs to catch up to the excellence off the food.
The service team that waited on us were excellent. They made sure that no one had an empty glass. Food was outstanding
Awesome food and service!
