Food is always great at Osteria! Diana had great recommendations.

There was a two hour time limit for dinner. By the time you have a bottle of wine, and appetizer, and dinner...there was no time for dessert. The waiter continuously rushed us. It was not a pleasant experience.

Absolutely love this restaurant and have never been displeased.

The restaurant was relaxed but elegant. We definitely would return to try more dishes. Definitely start with a cocktail - the black Manhattan hit the spot. The lobster bisque was fabulous and the stuffed veal shank was delicious. The branzino was flavorful. We were so full, we couldn't do dessert. Service was well-timed and friendly, and there were affordable wines choices. Recommend being seated away from the bar, since it appears that locals enjoy meeting friends at this location, even during the COVID environment.

We had a fantastic experience on a very cold, icy night. Our waiter was outstanding -helpful, there when you needed him and a very pleasant style. The Osso bucco was perfect, the burrata appetizer with prosciutto on the side was delicious, and the Chilean sea bass was great. We found a new wine that we loved, and it accompanied the meals perfectly. I highly recommend Osteria 177.

Service was outstanding. My wife's dinner was excellent. My dinner was average (Filet) Overcooked. I ate the steak without complaint, but would not recommend. Server indicated steak was better than Lewnes, which is our favorite Steakhouse.

The entire experience was amazing! Everybody was following COVID protocols, the food was absolutely fantastic and everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Will be going again!

This is a favorite place for us. Service is great and food outstanding. My husband had the Osso Buco Veal shank and I tried the Venison tenderloin with berry sauce dish. Both were delicious. They have a nice selection of appetizers as well. The Caprese Di Mozzarella di Bufala with roasted peppers and prosciutto is my favorite. They also had a full bar and a nice Italian wine selection.

As a very frequent diner we were completely disappointed. We went for my daughters birthday. The waiter towered of us as he continuously rushed us to order (throughout the night). He came every 2-3 minutes to ask have we decided on drinks. We finally choose our drinks. Before he brought our drinks he asked about appetizers, went right into the “dinner” specials. The antipasto was sad-meat had a slimy feel (it was old) 2 pickled onions, 2 squares of cheese. For four people. The octopus (calamari) was so chewy it was not edible. As we tried to enjoy the waiter would hover. Was the worst experience I have ever had there. Not to mention there were only 6 tables w/guests. Don’t understand the rush.

Good food I would go again

Osteria 177 will make you feel as though you are back in the Old World. The best authentic Italian food not only in Annapolis, but the mid-Atlantic as well. Service is top-notch and the pride shows through from the owner, Arturo, down to the bus staff. Waiters and waitresses are classically trained, friendly, engaging and unpretentious. All posses an in depth knowledge of the menu selections; from food sourcing, preparation, flavor description and pairings. Great gem in a great little city and well worth the drive to experience dining the way it should be. Don't miss it and be sure to reserve ahead of time as walk-in dining is seldom available.

Best restaurant in Annapolis!

Osteria was hands down, the best meal/dining experience we've ever had. The service was outstanding (the water refills kept coming) and we were given excellent recommendations from our waiter. We had the grilled calamari, then caramelized sea bass & lobster ravioli - all house favorites. It was exquisite. For dessert, we had panna cotta. The atmosphere was perfect and romantic. We couldn't recommend Osteria enough.

Birthday dinner for my wife was exceptional. Staff was friendly and very professional. Food was outstanding and the ambiance was great. Very quiet due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions so we had a romantic dinner with attentive staff making us feel special. Highly recommend this fine restaurant!

As usual the food and service was fantastic. We went in thinking this would be the last time we would dine at Osteria for a while as our politicians decided to close restaurants down for a month. Thank goodness a wise judge slapped that decision down realizing that restaurants are not a spread point for COVID compared to other venues. I hate to get political, but to take a persons livelihood away while that politician still gets paid is terrible.

Our waiter marrow was great and very attentive. Food was fantastic, we loved the grilled calamari and I had the Salmon picatta (under a different name) which i airways get and is yummy

Service from Gina was perfect along with a perfect meal makes Osteria more then just a great restaurant it makes it fantastic.

What makes it even better is that Arturo, Dijana and Vinnie come over to say hello.

We just discovered this gem of a restaurant about 2 months ago and have eaten there 4 times. You can expect everything to be perfect which matches the pricing. "Get what you pay for".

They knew it was my husbands birthday, but didn’t do anything for him. The table next to us got something special for that persons birthday, but they missed us. Great food though!

Anniversary dinner with my lovely bride of 54 years. Dijana was professional as usual. The food and the desert was fantastic. Thanks for making this a wonderful evening.

The tables were spaciously separated inside leaving diners relaxed about dining out. As usual, the Rack of Lamb did not disappoint; perfectly seared while maintaining the medium rare interior. My wife had the Filler Mignon served to perfection. The Lobster Ravioli w/Shrimp and Lump Meat Crab sent my eyes rolling back in my head. An absolutely wonderful dinner, and the staff here is A+.

We love coming to Osteria. The food is always so good and Chris always takes great care of us. The stuffed Veal chop is a favorite. We decided to order a few of those veal chops and unfortunately this time, they were a bit fatty. More like ribeyes. It is what it is, can’t control that. The meal was still delicious. I just prefer a leaner chop.

The real issue I have, is we came for dessert. Someone decided to take the dark chocolate mousse off the menu.... The milk chocolate mousse was an okay...... substitution. But I’d highly recommend bringing the previous recipe back. We’ve been eating that for a cpl years now and loved that dessert. I’ll have to call ahead from now on to make sure it’s available before coming next time. 😉
