Osteria Marzano

Osteria Marzano continues to be a gem. It is a wonderful location for an intimate get together for lovers and friends. The menu includes wonderful, delicious selections and the food is always consistent.

We sat in one of the bubbles for Covid protection which was fun, but I would have sat inside as well because they are following social distancing guidelines.

My only slight issue was that there wasn't advance notification that the bill would include an upcharge of 4% to cover Covid expenses as well as an automatic 22% tip for the benefit of being served in the bubble. There was a notice on the bottom of the bill advising that the 4% could be retracted. Honestly, we didn't mind paying either because the food and our experience was so delightful, but thought that the notification of such should have been in advance.

We booked the patio "bubble" for a birthday dinner for two and were delighted with the experience. We played our own music, the heater warmed the space nicely, food was wonderful (tuna tartar, octopus, house made pasta, affogato). Server can speak to you through the walls of the bubble and only needs to enter briefly to pick up plates/glasses and deliver food and beverages. Felt safe and almost normal.

By far the best Italian restaurant I been to. There service and food was top tier. I love calamari and they have the best calamari I every tasted. I will keep this place in my go to rotations.

Delicious! Everything was wonderful. Dined outside in an igloo - so glad they have set this up so we could enjoy safely.

It was my birthday. The staff was very attentive but the furniture was raggedy they honestly needed seat covers and table cloths cause the furniture was horrible. The furniture had duct tape on it

The calamari were terrible, and the pizza was not the one we ordered at all. The branzino was perfect.

Food was very good however they forgot to add the asparagus to our meal. However once we informed our server they brought out fresh grilled asparagus. I will definitely go there again.

We went this past Saturday night and had the most wonderful meal and service. We never knew this amazing restaurant was located in this complex. We will definitely be back again and again...!

Enjoy our girls night out - service was great, outside igloo provided safe and warm dining. 3star value as they are there's an automatic 22% gratuity added to your check plus an additional 4% PPE charge. Seems a bit steep.

Great dinner for 2 in one of the outdoor igloos. Server very knowledgeable of the food menu as well as wine and cocktail menu. We felt safe and warm in the igloo despite cold weather. Very extensive Italian menu. We've been before and never been disappointed at all.

Risotto/ main course was salty for all of us and heater was not working properly.

My wife and I visited here for the first time this past weekend. The place is very nice looking and as stated in other reviews, they are proceeding very cautiously with COVID protocols. They have spaced out the tables for indoor dining and have heated plastic domes for outdoor dining. I had the Calamari, which was excellent along with the Chicken Scallopine. The Chicken Scallopine serving size was excellent and the taste was superb. My wife had a side Farro Salad and the Mezzelune entrée which was also great and quite filling. What struct me as very important to mention was that along with the wonderful meal, the top notch service we received. Lastly, there was plenty of free parking in an adjacent covered garage. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding food and service! Always a treat to spend an evening at Osteria and Chef Carmine never disappoints.

Great Place, Great Staff, Great Food

Food and service was outstanding as usual. Music was at a reasonable volume, which isn't always the case. It can be very loud if there is a DJ but there was not so it was more conducive to dining.

Great restaurant! Wish we could have sat in the globes on the patio but it’s ok. Food was delicious and service was great!

Food was delicious and the service was superb! My only criticism is that the music is normally too loud for my opinion and the causes other patrons to need to speak over the volume of the music to be heard by their table guests.
I have been to Osteria Marzano before and will return many times.

AWESOME PLACE! My partner and I haven’t wanted to go anywhere with COVID. This is the first place we have gone since March and we felt very safe. We sat outside in their bubbles. Everyone wore masks, the bubbles were well cleaned and ventilated. The bubbles were also really warm! I did bring a blanket which was nice but if you wear pants and a sweater, you should be good too! For reference it was in the 20s when we went. Highly recommend!

Excellent dining experience. Chef Carmine is great. Very sociable and engaging with all the patrons. Restaurant Week menu was marvelous.

This is the second time we have been @globe dining@. Manzanita has upped their game!
Heaters that heated our globe, at tentative service, excellently prepared, tasty food....life is good!

They have instituted a $20 pp cancellation fee of the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours from the reservation time. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel 4 hours before my reservation. I was informed i would be charged $80 for the cancellation. I wound up going so as to not be charged the $80. When I got there the restaurant was empty except for 1 table!

In addition, there was a 22% tip automatically added to the bill that I happened to catch prior to adding my usual 20%.

And they added a $3.00 “PPE fee” as well.

It’s going to be a long time if ever before I return.

The food was reasonably good, but not great. They forgot one of my desserts to take home. The chocolate cake was okay...kind of tasteless. Pasta a little over cooked.

The drinks were fabulous though.

We really enjoyed the social distancing and safety Osteria Marzano had available with the outdoor seating. I do feel like now is a good time to ensure you are spending more than usual on food and service to show your appreciation. The food was good as per usual, but the service was extraordinary.

Our first dining experience inside the "bubble"! Totally awesome - 4 of us enjoyed our dinners comfortably (Space heater!) and wait staff was very professional, courteous and attentive (especially when opening and closing the bubble!). Thanks Osteria for taking these steps during our pandemic. Finally - as always - food was Fantastic!!

We ate outdoors in a heated dome. It was very comfortable and the service was excellent.

The outdoor bubbles are wonderful, warm, and disinfected after each party. They keep everyone safer from COVID while providing good ambiance and noise reduction. The staff have always been on top of things, bringing more bread and checking up on refills. I’ve been there a few times both recently and before COVID and they’re handling things well. Everyone we’ve brought has enjoyed all the food ordered, apps, entrees, drinks and desserts. Highly recommend reserving the bubble in advance and enjoying a great meal here!

I'm writing this review about the fees:
If you have an issue with it, talk to a manager or your server. I agree that the fees aren't publicized as much as they could be, but our check stated very plainly that you can let them know that you would like that fee removed; if you feel so strongly about it that you're willing to write a scathing review about how you're "never going back," I invite you to take a look around at the sparse staff they're able to keep employed (and also convince to work during a pandemic) as they try to stay open, and to think of all of the restrictions that have been put on restaurants in this time.
Food was good, service was great. They addressed our Anniversary and hit all the marks you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber

We ate in an igloo. The only complaint we have is when making the reservation on open table there was no mention of the fee. They also charged a ppe fee that was also not mentioned. In these difficult times, we recognize costs are higher for businesses but it would be good to know in advance we basically had to pay 30 percent on top of the food. The food was very good. We will be back but not in an igloo.
