Flavours to die for.
We absolutely love Ottolenghi - food and service are always outstanding and you can really taste the quality and freshness of the food. So many different ingredients used and the tastes are sensational. It’s not your average restaurant and the menu works slightly differently to normal ‘starter’’main’ ‘desert’ but high highly recommended. I would say it’s suited more to plant based diets as they’re isn’t a lot of meat on the menu, however everything is so delicious and cakes are a must have had the end!
Delicious and creative food in a comfortable environment. Small plates gave an opportunity to try quite a few things. We sat at the bar, which was fine, but not ideal. Noise level was fine. Cocktails were innovative but limited.
The food was excellent. Only the noise level in the restaurant was so loud. Another thing was that personal was running around so it was not a relaxed dinner.
Atmosphere not good. Food excellent.
Very kind staff

Very good food
Great location, warm atmosphere and very kind service. The food was of course delicious! :)
Lackluster service with an unattentive server.
Buzzy noisy and fun, we had a surprise lunch there- a first visit. The selection is quite narrow a hot main and two sides is a normal choice. Given O’s track record the vegetables are unsurprisingly to the fore. I was a little disappointed that all the (lovely) veg dishes were cold. The lamb fatteh was fantastic. We don’t normally do puddings but having them on display in the shop they were irresistible. All in a good experience but for the strange hot / cold mix and the rather limited range of choice particularly of mains.
I really enjoyed my first meal there . The food was delicious. The staff were very good and dealt very well when a child was running round heading out the door . I would definitely return .
What an amazing meal! Went here with colleagues on a work trip. Lived up to all expectations. So amazing.
Great evening with great food; lovely vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant, plus the option of taking some treats home as well!
A bistro type restaurant serving lovely food. Drinks quite pricey.
Delicious special casual dining. A little rushed and very noisy.
Food was great, tasty, just a shame they couldn't warm the veggie tart from the counter to go with the 2 salads as cold tart is not as nice as warmed up.
Service was friendly, efficient...overall good service and enjoyed my meal.
We did not know that lunch wasn’t served until 12:00 (we had reservations at 11:30) and there was no indication when I booked. Consequently we were surprised when we got there and could only have the cold meals.
The food is awesome. Nice taste combinations and good portions. However they work with 3 shifts on an evening and they asked us to leave because the next customers where waiting for our table. Unacceptable in my eyes.
Enjoyed the foot but even though I booked well in advance for two for a special occasion, we still got a table right in the middle, so the atmosphere wasn’t great. Food was tasty but even though I’d alerted staff to the fact that we needed to get to an event, it came unbelievably spread out (and it was all from the ready made vegetarian menu, so no cooking time, too...) and so we were in a mad rush by the end. Everything was acceptable, but nothing more.
Every dish was superb, and the service was attentive and convivial. Ambience is lively and elegantly warm. Fantastic goodies in the shop, especially the desserts and spices. A standout well worth repeat visits!
The food was served as a pile of 3 salads on one plate.
Service was professional but nit so friendly
Fantastic food, wine and ambience but top marks for staff who you could not fault.
We really enjoyed the food. We had booked a table for 5pm which was accepted by the restaurant. When we arrived we were told that the kitchen only open at 5.30pm which was really annoying as we intentionally booked an early slot on our way to something else.
Expected more from the breakfast. We went in at 8:00 in the morning. Ordered different kinds of breads but there was a problem with the oven. We got 1 pastrybread and had to divide it with the four of us. The food was simple but good, service we all agreed was poor.
Such a shame because the expectations were really high and we came all the way from the Netherlands to experience Ottolenghi.
Celebrating a very close friends 70th Birthday. Excellent service, food delicious and I will definitely recommend to friends.
Great spot in London. Lots of veg options and many can be vegan.
Great food and great service. We felt welcomed and informed about all the dishes available.
A great experience.
Busy, cosy restaurant. Delicious food. Waiter kindly brought me samples of rose wine before we ordered a glass.
Wonderful food and lovely staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. A little pricey for lunch though.
Had an incredible lunch here on Sunday. Food and service was spot on. Worth a mention is that my wife ordered a cocktail which she didn’t like too much and the waitress couldn’t have been better about it, recommending another and sending it to the table for no cost.
We were a bit disappointed we couldn't get a table and were seated at the bar. We shouldn't have worried. It was comfortable and we were very well looked after. The food was fantastic.
We wanted this dinner to make something special (after all it was my 65th birthday). We ordered every dish on the menu and everything was very tasteful. Service was impeccable: spontaneous and correct. And as a dessert I got a little birthday cake for free. But - perhaps a minor quibble - pay attention to your bill: an extra "suggested" service fee of 12,5% was added without telling us at the moment of paying. We only noticed this afterwards.
First time at an Ottolenghi, loved it. We have eaten at a similar restaurant in Brussels, so we were familiar with the concept, you build your own meal from the components on the menu. There’s a nibbles section starter section, and mains section, and then there’s the deserts! With some help from our waitress we chose from the non alcoholic cocktail menus with nibbles to go with them, olives, chillies with yoghurt and octopus. The octopus was the stand out plate from the nibbles. We chose a wide selection for the four of us, and we all tried everything on offer, much of it was vegetarian or vegan. Stand out were the prawns, butternut squash, cauliflower, beetroot and trout, but it was all very good. Once the first plates were delivered to our table, as soon as we finished some plates they were replaced with others from our selection. We finished with deserts, these are on show at the patisserie in the restaurant and portion size was very generous. We tried, Apple Cake, Carrot Cake, Coconut and Almond Cake and Rich Flourless Chocolate Torte, all served with creme anglaise and delicious. They trap we fell into was looking at the very reasonable prices per dish and not realising how much it would all add up to, but at £50 per head including service charge, very fair. The service was efficient and unobtrusive, I would certainly go again.
We ate at 4:45, the end of lunch service, so that probably explains the sketchy service and the fact that I the fish tasted like it had been sitting around for hours—fishy taste, dense texture. I did not eat more than a taste of it. The chickpeas were so-so. The carrots and the Aubergine kale dish were what I expect at Ottolenghi. Creative combinations, really delicious.
They did not have the wine we tasted and selected. The alternative was just okay.
We had high expectations so overall a bit disappointing.
Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend even though my partner and I had howling wind for the rest of the day.
I booked over the phone, as i was meeting three dear friends and wanted to be able to talk. The person who took the booking, said they would do their best to find a corner table. They did brillantly a corner and window table. We were told that the table was for one and half hours and I said any chance of stretching it to 2hrs and they did! We saw our waitress sneak a look at her watch but she was lovely and professional. After putting the word to rights with a belly of great and intriguing food, we were well happy!
The food was, as always, exceptional! I found it a bit loud and distracting with other people around, but still quite enjoyable.
Delicious food and exemplary service. The restaurant couldn't help the weather!
The flavours are amazing. Very different from your average restaurant. We dined at the bar which I would thoroughly recommend. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely food as expected of Ottolenghi. Great salad selection, excellent flavours. Good if you have a Veggie friend.
Excellent experience sitting at the bar for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great!
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff all very helpful.
