Very welcoming staff and service. Didn’t like having a dog around our feet whilst eating. This is only our personal view being non dog friendly people. More

We as a family decided to go out for a meal so we thought we would go to a local pub. We had heard it was under new management with a new chef and it was worth checking out! I have to say I am very pleased we did, the food was excellent and the service was great. We went for the steak deal where you get a steak with chips, salad and wine. The steak was cooked perfectly and I think the chips were honestly the best chips I have ever tasted. Was well worth going, I am glad we did and I will be definitely going again! Well done The Black Horse 5* More

Lovely atmosphere no hurry the food was great. Mixed platters to start and share it thought just the right amount though some of our other party thought a few more nachos would be better. Pies amazing the only let down was the treacle sponge not good on the night. Was not charge for it so no complaints will definitely go back More
