Everything was Perfect! Perfekt meat, perfect atmosphere, perfekt personell, perfekt evening. Me Like!
Last minute booking for my daughter's 18th birthday was rewarded by great food and service, highly recommended.
It was okay and service was not exceptional. We needed to find our sever a few times despite being near service station. Views are spectacular
We were expecting better food (afternoon tea), it’s not worth the price. Staff is very pleasant and friendly, excelent service!
Really delicious food and lovely service. Very friendly. View is lovely.
Great food, wine, service and wonderful location with stunning day to night views over St Paul’s.
Spectacular! Can’t wait to come back
The view from the restaurant has dramatically improved with time with the addition of new skyscrapers that have enriched the London waterfront skyline. The food has taken the opposite path and it is now barely edible at an extortionate cost.
Very enjoyable afternoon. Relaxed atmosphere. Good food and wine. Very welcoming service.
Good food, amazing atmosphere, fair service.
I went to dinner with two friends last Saturday and the experience was good. We had crab for starter and it was the most delicious dish I have ever tasted. However, I have to say the main course, lobster ravioli, was disappointing. It was tasteless, I really expected a lot more. My friend had duck and it was amazing! The desserts were also superb! Well done!
I have two things to point out regarding our visit to OXO. The first one is that you should try to fallow booking instructions. I booked the table in advance and asked for a window seat, what didn't happen.
The waitress who welcomed us was really weird. She gave us menus and even before we open it she asked three times if we wanted cocktails. When my friends said no, she took the menu off their hands. I'd say no more than a minute later, she approached me asking again if I want cocktails. I had to be firm to her asking if "could have look on the menu for 2 minutes". It was our first visit and she didn't explain how the service work. It was a bit rude and awkward. She then went off and we were served by a friendly one.
After dinner, we went for a drink in the bar. I had a mojito and my friend another drink which I can't remember the name now. They were delish. However, the staffs looked very tired. Sometimes walking around "lost". I can see Saturday is probably your busiest day (I worked in hospitality for many years, yet, as a consumer looking for an experience, the customer service dropped my experience down. I don't think it is understandable since we pay 12.5% on service.
I thought I had booked the restaurant - When we arrived we were told we were in the Brassiere - as this was a milestone birthday - I was a little disappointed. It should be clear on your booking form that there are two dining options.
Was the fourth time I have been and it gets better every time, I didn't ask but was given a lovely table by the window to enjoy the amazing view over the Thames...food was even better than normal, a couple of more 'hearty' mains than last time for a guy, and as normal great quality, service was AMAZING very helpful and cheerful, only issue was a bottle of water we were changed for, I don't mind paying for a good meal (this was £178 for 2 people with just one glass of wine each) but if I ask for table tap water, don't bring me your own bottled and change me £5 when I am going to leave 50% of it...bit of a cash grab, but it didn't ruin the meal.
Outstanding place for a special occasion
Great service, fantastic views, really good food, but I think I would only be going back for those special occasions as had to really watch the bill.
Great food, servers were very attentive and professional. Only issue was the temperature in the restaurant was quite warm. They seem to have radiant floor heating under the tables, which is nice, but a little too strong.
As usual, everything was excellent except the price of the wine, 26£ for for a small glass of Italian wine ...
Graduation dinner. It was good overall. The desserts were to die for. Especially the soufflé!!!!
amazing service and great food.Lovely people and waiter and waitress :)
Good atmosphere and excellent service with great views. However a bit expensive compared to similar restaurants
It seems to be a popular place for birthday celebration as almost every table around us was celebrating birthday. The set menu was good value but a hungry person might find the proportion rather small. Service was attentive.
Oxo Tower offers a wonderful view of the Thames - and so much more. Creative cuisine, excellent wine list, pleasant and efficient service, good bread (seriously - it makes a difference), outdoor dining weather permitting. Plated presentations are as attractive as they are tasty. An ideal choice for dinner before theatre at the National complex on the South Bank, a 20 minute stroll away. (If so, go early - open at 5:30 pm - to allow time for three courses). Reservations are vital. One of our "must go" restaurants in London!
Fantastic food with outstanding service, the attention to detail, with the food and from the staff makes this a special place!
Food was great, service was disappointing. The staff was a bit chaotic with everything they did.
Beautiful view, great food and ambiance. Is it expensive? Yes, but not ridiculously so (£60 per head with wine). A special occasions sort of a place.
Staff were helpful and took the trouble to check we were enjoying the meal and the views. Food was lovely and sufficient
Great meal out. Food was delicious and location on the Thames was beautiful.
I booked for a Sunday lunch and took advantage of the special deal £34 three-course menu. The venue is bright and airy with fantastic views of London. The staff were very welcoming and the food was inventive and delicious. I totally recommend and would happily return soon!
Amazing - great food great service can't wait to go again
I booked this restaurant for my 50th Birthday lunch. Food and service were both fantastic. Would recommend for any occasion.
i was holing my business dinner in OXO, we ordered the set menu there. For the cocktails, they helped us to get something out of the menu. The bar tender made us some special to try. So foods are good, the drinks are impressive.
I've been to OXO Tower a couple of times. In this visit we requested a window table which we got and it's all you want in there to start a great experience of the setting. The view is something else.
The waitress and sommeliers are very professional and efficient. 👍🏾
Food was tasty and very well cooked. I enjoyed it very much.
Booked for a birthday treat. Service was superb. Very friendly, very attentive. We chose from the lunch time set menu with a glass of champagne. The food was more than good. Presentation and taste both top marks.
The location and views (we were given a great table) just add to the experience.
Looking forward to eating here again soon.
We took mum for an early mothers day treat. She thoroughly loved it. The special offer menu was delicious. I did have to send my venison back as it was quite chew. Overall a good time was had by all.
I took my niece to the Oxo Tower for her 21st birthday. It was her first experience of such a restaurant and will stay in her memory forever! The staff were all attentive and fun, a perfect combination. The meal was a joy, truly and I will certainly be going back...don't need to wait for another 21st birthday, just the desire for a fantastic meal, with attentive service, in great surroundings with a view to die for!
Fabulous restaurant with excellent views. Good food but so expensive wines and service charge which makes it high end pricey
Have wanted to go to the oxo tower for ages and it didnt disaappoint. Have already recommended it to friens and family
