Fantastic afternoon tea, lovely setting, views, service and food
We booked a table as a surprise for my Daughter's birthday as this is a restaurant she has always wanted to visit. From the moment we arrived to the end of the meal the service for fantastic. Would highly recommend the tasting menu, as you will sample every aspect of the Chef's skills and creativity.
Thank you so much OXO for a fantastic evening and a very happy birthday girl!
Good food and great location for a view of St Pauls
We went to the oxo tower for dinner and drinks. We enjoyed all of our starters and mains. We chose a light red wine which was superb.
beautiful view from most dinner tables, tasty food, and friendly service
Good service excellent atmosphere suitable for oeiloke to meet and talk not noisy nice bar with music life .
really good food，slow cooked pork belly
Wonderful dining experience. Couldn’t fault it at all. The chateaubriand was just sensational
Fantastic venue, excellent service and great food with the views to match. An experience that is a must and if lucky enough to get window table, even better
We were giving our two daughters a special family dinner before they start at their respective universities. Wonderful evening. Great food, amazing view, splendid and charming service and a lovely informal feel to a smart restaurant.
Very disappointed in the service and food.
The only nice thing about this restaurant is the view. Will not be going back.
We sat on the terrace for an early dinner before going to see a play. It was a sunny evening and our view of the river was great. The food was good and the service very attentive. A little expensive but the view and atmosphere was worth it.
The view from the top of the Chard in London and the food were both excellent. However, the service was severely lacking. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy, yet simple requests for water or for a dessert menu went unaddressed for twenty minutes at a time; though the server and host walked by the table several times after the request. I’d recommend the restaurant not resting on the laurels of the breathtaking view...0
The view was nice, the Service was good, the Quality of Food poor (Price-value )
I would fully recommend the OXO Tower. great food, good wine list and very friendly, polite and attentive staff. Great ambience too.
The oxo is an iconic building and this place is still good even after being here for many years... well worth a visit.
Celebrating my Mum’s 84th birthday.
Delicious lunch menu and wine. Memorable setting and dining experience
A wonderful afternoon celebrating my birthday. Superb food, excellent wine and great service at a fantastic location.
Gran vista pero el servicio no es muy bueno. La comida es buena pero nada extraordinario.
Nice to dine al fresco with views over the Thames and London. Good food and service made for a good business meal with client.
2nd time I’ve been here and still one of my favourite restaurant to go to...
Lovely place, great staff. Really nice touch bringing a cake for my sisters birthday!
Extremely expensive (£290 for three people), but on balance, just about worth it! The food was divine, nicely presented and very tasty. I had the Wild Strawberry Souffle of my life - huge and absolutely delicious! The best souffle I've ever had. The duck was also excellent as was the pork belly starter. It's a nice setting and a good time was had by all!
Lacking a wow factor unless you have a window table. Service at bar area poor - particularly for the prices you are paying. In the restaurant itself, the table layout looked messy. Food though was lovely!
Very friendly staff. try to get a table outside - but be aware of cold wind. jacket would be important to have with you. food is quite well... all in all i expected a bit more tho... but it's not a place i would go to again. i guess the evenings and nights have to be really warm in order to enjoy this place. but it's not bad, really not.
We went to the Oxo tower for our first wedsing anniversary. They really looked after us, staff were friendly and polite, the food was delicious, and the view was beautiful! Would definitely recommend.
Had booked a table for 5:30pm. Was the first to be seen to but had to wait for a vacant table as I had arrived 3 minutes earlier.
Two other couples who had been booked for the same time arrived after myself. Unfortunately for me the Manager did not prioritise the order of the guests based on arrival.
Rather than select based on arrival he decided to select randomly any couple to be seated which is not good. Instead of apologising for the mistake the Manager was rude and just suggested I would be seated next.
I’ve been to Oxo Tower a few times and certain staff do behave differently to others. This ruins the experience as the same Manager could apply the same attitude to other guests which is not fair.
Apart from that the other staff serving the drinks and food were excellent. Very attentive and ensured we were looked after during our time.
Arrived a half hour prior to our reservation, were finally sat a half hour after our reservation. Nothing was offered to compensate, no one seemed overly accommodating.
The location, decor, food, and views were phenomenal; despite the small portions.
Happy with everything, efficient and very polite ! High recommend
Great views and nice food. Worth every penny
Really great service and food. The staff were very good with my 1 year old daughter and gave us a table where there was plenty of space for her to walk around without disturbing the other customers.
It was a birthday treat for my partner. Good service , nice food but bill was a little high for what it was. Had lovely table on the terrace overlooking the river.
Food and service were outstanding. My partner is allergic to cream they have made him a special pudding with diary alternative. We will be back thank you so much
The staff was excellent and very warm
We were there to celebrate my birthday and we had our 2.5 yr old as well
The staff was very friendly to her and helped with food recommendations.
I live locally and haven’t visited the OXO for a while but I must say, it never fails to impress. I’m not sure if there is a new chef but the food really was truly spectacular, the service exemplary and friendly and overall a lovely afternoon. I will be back again - very soon !
Lovely leisurely lunch. We were not chased and we enjoyed the food. Attentive but not over present staff. Thank you
Amazing view, starters and mains was cooked to perfection, only to be let down by a desert that was average to say the least.
Biggest grip was the cost of a bottle of wine. Appreciate that, as a business it is there to make money but charging 3 times the amount for a bottle of red that is for sale on the harvey nics Web site for £25, is, in my eyes, just plain greedy.
I have food allergies and they were well catered for!
Would definitely come back!!
I booked the Oxo Tower for a double birthday celebration - we had a wonderful time. It is pricey but for a special occasion it is completely worth it - especially with the views! The only negative I would say is that whilst they are very good at advising on allergy requirements there were not many alternatives for my friend who has a severe dairy allergy.
Decided to try the OXO Tower as I'd heard of some good reviews. The Restaurant and Brasserie are on the same floor level but have slightly different prices. We liked the look of the menu in the restaurant a little more and so selected this as our choice. The food was good and the service excellent. Only slight disappointment even with an early booking (made well in advance) was that we were sat three tables back from the great view of the Thames. In saying that the glazing area out over the Thames is huge so we had glimpses between people.
It's a nice restaurant with super service but I guess for the price I was expecting maybe more flavor. Had a lovely evening and they did provide a nice touch with a scoop of ice cream and a Happy Birthday message (which is what we were celebrating). Thanks.
