Amazing view nothing to say there. But wine overpriced (I knew the labels) and food was, past the great choice and quality of starters, nothing mind-blowing. You'd expect more for the price. But then, it's Harvey Nichols...
Delicious food and great view from the terrace. The crab starter was incredible.
This was good. Slightly disappointing but a nice evening. We opted for the taster menu with wine pairings, delivered so well by the excellent waiting staff team. It wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t bad. Just rather average and not worth 135£ per head. No amuse bouche and no coffee / mint tea included as a gesture as has been the case with other taster menus. I wouldn’t repeat the experience. It was a good evening, food wise, but sadly no greater than that.
Last meal out with my sons before lockdown
Booked for my dads 60th birthday.
Amazing views, gorgeous food and great service.
Would definitely recommend
It was nice to be back in central London, and I do understand that Covid has taken a huge toll on the industry, and this seemed more obvious at the Oxo Tower than in other restaurants I have eaten at during the later part of 2020. Servers were polite but not as efficient as I would have expected for the amount of service charge that we paid. Starters were fabulous, but the main courses were unfortunately not to the standard that we expected. Difficult to see the business so quiet, and more than happy to help support, but I do feel other places are doing more to make themselves competitive and more welcoming to guests.
Fantastic location, good food, excellent ambiance.
Given current circumstances the team did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and to try and provide a wonderful experience. We ate from the festival menu which was great value and delicious.
One minor criticism was that the restaurant was cold which made the food go cold too quickly.
Great service, great food, great location... would recommend
Originally we had planned on going to the restaurant, but we changed our booking to the brasserie due to the menu at the restaurant! As some of the guests joining us, didn’t like options avaliable on the menu! I had lamb for main & we shared some king prawns to start. I was impressed with the views, however the brasserie had a cafe’ like feel. The chairs were very “school canteen” a long with the tables. The food was very good, the service was slow and it was expensive for what it was. It didn’t have the luxurious feel we expected!
Fantastic service and delicious food
Lovely place and quiet and beautiful view, very long to find the place.
The food wasn’t what I expected as starter was ok.
And the main was good cant go wrong with sea bass.
Well I did get meal deal course 3.
Over all the ok.
Very tentative and polite staff, excellent table service and the food was excellent. Can’t say anything even remotely negative about our experience
Went there for a wedding anniversary celebratory meal - the restaurant is taking a lot of very sensible Covid precautions but still maintaining a great ambience. Food was phenomenal, wine was ideal and the evening overall was a memory for my wife and I to treasure.
Gorgeous venue with fantastic food.
Live music was perfect
Staff couldn’t have been better.
We wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. The food was good however we felt rushed by our server.
Nice Saturday lunch
A lovely meal. Top quality food with brilliant service. Nice views from tables by the window.
Prices have dramatically increased since Covid. It is now overpriced for what you get. The 13.5% service charge is borderline abusive.
Children’s menu is not as good as it used to be with more basic choices of dishes.
We used to come regularly to Oxo for Sunday lunch. We may need to reconsider our choice.
The extra cost of the congestion charge at weekends is not helping.
The gorgeous setting was matched by dinner, which was beautifully presented and perfectly conceived. Service was considerate, informative (for both our food and wine choice) and swift. If I had a criticism it would be that our dinner timing meant we couldn’t select from the chef’s Summer Menu. Eating a la Carte did spiral our costs, which slightly dented the overall feel. Perhaps you could think about adjusting things for dinners moving forwards? Overall, lovely to be back.
Wowza. Simply exceptional
Couldn’t find our reservation, then sat us at the back and told us to wait for another table. Took 20 minutes to even give us a drink while we waited. Then after speaking to the staff they told us that it would be another 30-40 minutes before we could get another table.
Service was excellent, the atmosphere was a little flat but not the restaurants fault more the covid situation. I would certainly recommend it and go again!
Fantastic meal in a great location. Staff were superb as we needed to be reseated after a glass broke. Minimum of fuss and maximum of put you at ease.
A really good and tasty afternoon tea!
Service was nice.
Excellent place/restaurant to go to for a special occasion
Honestly, the visit didn’t meet my expectations and the food wasn’t very good value for money. I was incredibly underwhelmed.
Excellent food. Not busy at all which may have been a blessing as tables are quite close together
Had a very nice Christmas lunch and drinks with family and friends, the staff were most attentive and welcoming a great location.
Enjoyed the meal very tasty. Service was great
Yes but prefer the restaurant enforced the dress code. Some customers dressed below par
Probably the worst experiences I have had to endure and extortionate
A steak had to be sent back to the kitchen to be cooked properly. The starters were a little meagre. The wine was significantly overpriced.
Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening, the service was good and the view and ambiance was great.
Great and lively venue with a fantastic view of London from the Southbank. Food was excellent as is the wine selection and the atmosphere. Service was attentive and prompt as one would expect from a high quality restaurant. Not cheap but well worth a visit if your budget allows.
Definitely recommended. Great view, really friendly staff and wonderful cooking! What else can you ask as a perfect dining experience?
Excellent long lunch at the Oxo Tower restaurant. Food and wine was superb with an amazing view! Highly recommend it
First visit Monday lunchtime for birthday celebration.
Surprised by how few diners there were but that suited us well. Slightly faded/tatty feel especially on looking at the outside seating area. Would go again. Warm welcome,
Slightly cold room
Very quick later service with polite and kind servers
Good came slow initially and then quick when second course began
Good wine list although not extensive...which is good.
Slightly overpriced for what isn’t fine dining
Lovely meal, Wood Pigeon Soup was the outstanding dish of the meal. Service was second to none, would definitively recommend.
Celebrated sister's birthday, service, food and setting perfect. Would certainly book again and recommend.
