We had the Wedgwood afternoon tea
The food was delicious and they kept topping up the sandwiches and let us choose whatever additional ones we wanted. Scones and cakes were delicious too and they packed up an amazing little chocolate cake as a present for us to take home. Service was great too.
Would go again!

Afternoon tea was poor – the sandwiches were a bit boring and the cakes was no surprise. Very bad value for money!
OK atmosphere.

Booked the £50’ promotion for a friend’s birthday, within it specifically seeking it- it was available and at the date and time we wished to attend. The promotion was mentioned an incessant number of times by at least 3 different waiting staff. One made a joke ‘do not worry, the champagne is free’. We were given a table directly facing the hotel entryway- it was not comfortable. The sandwich bread was not as fresh as other comparable establishments. The pastries and scones were nice. There was no time pressure. Overall, the experience was nice but I am disappointed by the incessant focus on the ‘promotion’.

High standard afternoon tea, delicious food and champagne.. the only thing that bothered me was that there was no dress code. Some people just put on a long sweater, no pants, others very very casual clothes, sports clothes.. i think it s a pitty, it brings the wonderfull athmosphere a little bit down.. the hotel does such an effort to be high class i think the guest should try the same.

My fourth visit since the BBC handed back the Langham Hotel where I had worked for any years. My guests (1st timers) were greatly impressed with their experience. Every time I visit there are changes which adds to my experience. Thank You

Great setting and always excellent service at the Langham. I have eaten at the Roux and their ballroom before so know it’s good food and service.

Took my girlfriend for a date, it’s a great restaurant and looks the part to impress. We had the set menu which I think was good value but don’t order bottled water unless you enjoy paying £7 a bottle.

The food was good but not as good as I have previously experienced. Although this may have been because it was their set menu. But then again, should that make a difference?

Would absolutley recommend this place - service, ambiance, food - cannot fault anything. The only thing I would say is that I budgeted £55 for 3 people. When asked to order (and whether we'd like champagne) we were under the impression this was included within the cost - had a bit of a shock when I saw the bill at £270 which was quite worrying but I didn't want to raise this as we were there for a very special 60th for my mum.

Excellent tea time experience. The way how they catered for my allergy was amazing and extremely thoughtful (additional sandwiches presented on a separate tray so it does not get contaminated). Increadible overall service and very high food quality!

The vegan menu for afternoon tea was very innovative and interesting while the gluten free menu was less innovative but still good. The scones were a little under done while the table was cleared very quickly. The piano was also very loud which spoiled the atmosphere.

The food was good but was disappointed by the inaccurate information given. I called on the the Saturday to confirm my Sunday booking and also to ensure they knew it was my wife's birthday. The lady on the phone said they were aware and a dessert with happy birthday written on it would be presented to her. She also said they would be live music from a piano player who would sing her happy birthday. There was nobody playing on the evening we were there suffice to say the happy birthday didn't take place and the dessert was absolutely horrid.

We both enjoyed the whole experience at The Palm Court. The service was outstanding: unobtrusive, considerate and very polite staff. The food was both well-presented and full of flavours. The entertainment provided by a pianist and accompanying musician was very relaxing, blending in with the ambience of the opalescence of the décor and general environment! We concluded the evening by the comment that we would certainly be returning!

Beautiful restaurant and excellent food but given it's a 5 star hotel the service could have been a little more on the ball. Wine came after starters and wasn't repoured promptly. Also no offer of tea or coffee after desert. Not a problem I would site for most places but most places aren't within a 5 star hotel.

We visited Palm Court at the Langham for afternoon tea as a 50th birthday present for my sister. We both agree that this was a most enjoyable experience. The Hotel and its environment was lovely. We were met by friendly staff and the service was exceptional. We had a wonderful waiter who was polite and explained all the dishes in a gentle and professional manner. The food was excellent (Sandwiches and cakes). We will definitely visit again very soon.

Very much enjoyed the experience. Late lunch/early tea time is the best arrangement. Good ambiance, elegant dinning hall, excellent service. We had this Italian lady in her pastel color uniform who is perfect for the place.

Having stayed at The Langham previously I knew our afternoon tea would be wonderful but it exceeded my expectations. The staff were so considerate of our dietary requirements and the food was divine. What made the experience so memorable was the impeccable service. We visited to celebrate my mums birthday and the staff made her feel really special and it seemed as though they were genuinely happy to help her celebrate her special day and ensure that she had a lovely time. The pianist played beautifully, the lighting was perfect and all I can say is that it was worth every penny and more and I can’t wait to visit The Langham again soon.

For the charge per head, we thought the afternoon tea was very expensive.
Three finger sandwiches & no alternatives if you didnt eat the meat.. some odd choices for savoury dishes.
The scones were perfection & the pastries were quite sickly.
The small chocolate cake that we were given to take away was very nice also.
Tea choices were very good & Champagne was very very expensive...

Overrated, overpriced restaurant. Treated my husband for his 50th birthday. Lobster bisque was cool, steak (£42) was tough as old boots all in all a poor experience. The only good part was our waiter. He was very sweet and attentive. Very disappointed.
