We had a lovely time. The service was amazing. My only wish as an American was that the decor was a bit more traditional to England. We see similar decor in the states. But the fact you had a vegetarian and vegan menu was fabulous and is why we chose the Langham. Thank you.
Everyone was so warm and welcoming for myself and my little five year old girl. It made our experience truly magical and not intimidating at all. They were all so patient and accommodating. A special credit should be given to the pianist who took the time out to talk to us when we approached him. He made Isabella feel special and even played her ‘when you wish upon a star’
the children’s Afternoon Tea was incresibly we’ll thought down to the little touches as choosing a free book to take home.
A fantastic experience. Thank you.
Everything about our experience at The Langham Hotel but, worth it! If you ever have a chance to go, GO! A real treat for all the senses. We hope to return some day.
Beautiful setting. Sit for hours to visit. Excellent service.
Very good food and service.
We had afternoon tea as a family. The kids afternoon tea was brilliant!
We had the most incredible experience from star to finish. The staff, food and setting was perfect for a lovely treat! I would highly recommend The Langham.
The food and service were absolutely excellent. We would certainly recommend it and will probably come back again.
A beautiful day, planned. The pianist played a well selected, variety of pieces, covering an eclectic range for all ages. Service was delightful and the information regarding the choices of tea was accurate for our tastes. Thank you. It did not disappoint.
Lovely setting for afternoon tea - the only thing that lets it down is that the room is in the middle of the building with no natural light.
Amazing service - my husband was given a special birthday cake with candle. Tea was refreshed regularly without asking, all food was unlimited - we were even given a doggy bag with extra scones to take with us. Can’t fault it for a delicious afternoon tea.
It was an expensive high tea with good service but unfortunately the scones in particular were disappointing.
Amazing experience, both the food and service was outstanding without being too much.
A very special experience to celebrate the fast approaching arrival of our baby.
It was a very special touch with the celebration rose chocolate mousse and the cake and jam to take away.
The afternoon tea experience we had was brilliant, the service was extremely on point and all staff was polite and really smiley.
Can’t recommend The Langham Hotel’s High Tea enough, excellent food and fantastic service.
My third time in this place. Wonderful selection of teas, delicious unlimited sandwiches, beautifully prepared mouthwatering cakes, amazing scones!
I’d been looking forward to this for months, and having been before a few years ago had high expectations. Sadly these just weren’t met.
The staff were fab, but afternoon tea is supposed to be an experience. The sandwiches came out all ready dished on a plate each, and they just lacked excitement. Selecting them from a stand is half the fun. The scones were the best I’ve ever had, buttery but light and exactly the treat they should be.
The sweet treats again came out plated up not ready to select at will, and we’re just a bit ‘meh’. They were tasty but not inspiring or provocative, and after seeing Cherish in action on tv I just felt like something was missing. For a solidly traditional afternoon tea I would choose the ritz or actually the lanesborough was excellent, but this just made me a little sad.
FINALLY - and this is an issue, the tables! The chairs are not lounge chairs they are upright for dining, so the fact that the tables are so low you can’t fit your legs under makes the whole thing really uncomfortable. Make the tables higher or the chairs more comfortable!
Food, tea and service were all brilliant! The Langham is gorgeous and was the perfect setting for afternoon tea - The Palm Court is stunning. I would highly recommend it.
Firstly, we were disappointed to note that, even though we had booked for afternoon tea, we were shown to a table that was set for lunch and given lunch menus to consider. Secondly, it soon became clear that the information that we had provided about my wife's food intolerances, when we booked, did not appear to have reached our server.
I had also requested a table at the edge of the room and, although we were almost at the edge, we were close to a door leading to/from a service area.
Our servers themselves were very attentive and the food was pretty good, though I am not convinced that it represents good value for money.
Great location and easy to find. The Palm Court is very pleasant, the waiting staff were extremely good, unintrusive but quickly on hand, and very efficient. We had a cream tea and the scones were outstanding, very possibly the best I have ever tasted.
High Tea at The Langham was a very special experience and one I will never forget! The room was lovely and very comfortable. The staff was all very professional & very friendly. We did the High Tea option with an added glass of champagne and every part of the meal was incredible. The mini sandwiches are unlimited and the 2nd course warm dishes were a nice add. The pastries are plated so nicely and beautiful to look at & taste just as good as they look. Every table gets a beautiful box of scones to take home with them to enjoy later, which was a nice bonus! This was my first High Tea experience and The Langham set the bar very high! I loved every part of this meal and will definitely be back again!
I’m so glad we choose the Langham for our afternoon tea experience. It’s a beautiful room with live piano music. The service was exceptional and the food was great.
Fantastic food and service, nothing was to much trouble highly recommend.
Excellent service, could find no fault at all from the front desk and coat check right down to the waiter who boxed my dessert. Food was very good and in line with other high teas I have attended. Beautifully decorated room with piano player. Great way to spend a couple of hours after shopping on Regent Street.
It was everything we hoped it would be. Delicious food and exceptional service; truly, an unforgettable experience.
Great place with a very nice atmosphere, food and service
Such a beautiful hotel and restaurant.
The staff were genuine and attentive.
Such great value with the 3 course menu and bubbles. Would highly recommend!
We went to celebrate our anniversary. A fabulous evening, food, cocktail and music were excellent.
Went for our daughter’s 18th birthday. The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Food was good and alternatives provided to the vegetarian and pescatarian in the group, with the option of extra sandwiches and scones if wished. Birthday cake was a lovely extra. Noticed one extra bottle of water charged to the table but the two children in the group had been given a virgin mojito for free so didn’t think worth quibbling.
Really exceptional generous service. Thank you. Only slight disappointment was we told our waiter it was my friend’s birthday that day and I think he forgot as I saw a couple of other tables being given cakes with candles in and we didn’t get one. Other than that it was perfect!
Absolutely amazing atmosphere. The service from all staff was exceptional and the food was exquisite. We will be back next time we are in a London.
Delicious food, amazing place & fabulous service. Best of all, very talented pianist 🤩
I very rarely rate restaurants 5* steak days. But the palm court has lived up to its highly. Wife and I had a great date and enjoyed the food and atmosphere and the very professional service.
Quite the treat in London ! Afternoon tea. Outstanding
Always lovely here. Service is just incredible, very knowledgeable and happy for you to take things home if you can’t finish. Lovely bag and boxes too.
Beautiful, traditional and very elegant English tea setting. Impeccable service and delicious food and drinks selection. Quite expensive but worth the splurge.
Absolutely sublime - thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon!
Fabulous tea for us adults but this this tea is also fantastic for little ones. My 3 and 6 yr old were able to choose a children’s story they got to take home and also became little chefs assembling their sweets into a scene from one of the stories called the Storm Whale. Very creative and interactive. We have been to other area teas that are not nearly as child friendly. It was nice that we had our traditional adult tea....but they also were fantastic about catering to children and making it special for them.
We will be back! 💗
Really appreciated the never-ending sandwiches and scones with the high tea
Great service by Francesco. Very attentive and friendly. Food was good. Very nice live music played by pianist
