Everything about the evening was amazing, from the food to the service to the ambience. Amazing experience.

The waiter Alex was absolutely great, was attentive to our needs and explained everything we wanted to know about. He didn’t “miss a beat”.

Great evening 👍🏼

We had a work get together and ordered the festive set menu. There weren't great vegetarian options but the chef accommodated an a la carte alternative. The best part of the meal was the dessert. The service was a bit slow throughout and we were seated right near the front door which was cold in December! I was offered a blanket half way through the evening. We were overcharged on the bill which we had to challenge. The whole experience was a little disappointing as my expectations were high. The Landau next door was much better all round. Not sure if I will return...

I booked on 3rd October for afternoon tea for three people on Friday 7th December at price quoted £55 per person. I have a copy of this booking with £55 quoted on it. An email reminder was sent but no information on a price rise was mentioned. On arrival the afternoon tea prices had increased considerably to £79 being the cheapest option per person.

I had booked this as a 65th birthday present and had no alternative to accept this situation so as not to cause embarrassment to myself and two friends. I had to pay on my credit card as I did not have enough cash on me.

I believe that you had ample time to inform me of the price increase and give me an opportunity to cancel. I feel I have been badly let down and having to spend an extra £72 and certain that you should recompense me.

Had cocktails first then moved to the Palm Court for dinner. Had an excellent 3 course menu at a good price. Food, drinks, service and ambience all perfect. I have only really been to the Langham for drinks in the past but will definitely dine there again

My friend and I visited the Palm Court for a pre-Christmas lunch and ate from the set menu which was great value. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service and staff were excellent and the surroundings were top class It was nice to have a pianist playing whilst we were eating. I would definitely recommend this venue. Well worth a return visit.

Live piano should be improved and also the toilet.

The venue was gorgeous with a luxurious interior and a live piano.
Unfortunately the scones and pastry didn't meassure up to the venue nor the price. The sandwishes was amazing though.
We had high expectations, and left a bit disapointed.

We had a couple of drinks in the bar as our table wasn’t ready and they were £42! For a glass of champagne and a G&T (with ordinary gin, nothing fancy). I was shocked at the cost considering we were sat at the bar and had to wait in the entrance for a while before they helped us.

The sandwiches were lovely and the scones were great but the cakes were a little disappointing. I don’t know if this is because it was their festive afternoon tea.
Service was good and they accommodated our child and gave her a couple of children finger sandwiches which was lovely. They were a little slow on topping up our drinks (and remembering my husbands coffee) and every time we tried to do it they would notice and stop us.
Overall I’m not sure I would go again as there are so many other places in London with great afternoon teas.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely evening at the Palm Court. I was particularly impressed with the the service, which could not be faulted. The waiter that looked after us was courteous, attentive and very professional. He was especially helpful when it came to choosing the wine: his recommendation was excellent and went well with the main dish. We both had a smoked salmon starter (a generous portion. I must say) followed by grilled rack of lamb, which was cooked to perfection. The piano and double bass duo created a lovely atmosphere.

Really lovely experience. Service and ambiance were top draw in this lovely classic hotel, which is beautifully furnished. The meal was excellent quality, beautifully presented and for a 5 star classic London hotel, very reasonable. (We did however take up the three courses and a carafe of excellent wine for £49, + 12.5% service charge.

We celebrated the 50th birthday of our dear friend. As we were in London for the event from the U.S. we decided a fancy afternoon tea would be perfect. We chose The Palm Court at The Langham because of the beautiful setting, historic location, great reviews, and the 2018 award of Best Afternoon Tea. Our server Paolo was warm, charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. He seemed to really love his job and made us feel very welcome and extra special, just what we were hoping for on our friend's first day of a spectacular new decade! At the end of our tea our friend was surprised with an extra small cake to take home as well as a delicious and pretty chocolate sponge cake in the shape of a rose...with a lit candle and discreet singing of the birthday song. We extend heartfelt thanks to The Langham and highly recommend for an elegant and sophisticated tea experience.

All elements of the Festive afternoon tea were superb, the sandwiches, scones and pastries - fabulous, some nice surprises (won’t reveal here) ... we had booked this months ago and didn’t know the festive menu would be in service until the Langham called the night before to check our dietary requirements ... my only gripe is that we hadn’t necessarily wanted afternoon tea with a cold drink and there was no lesser fee for just festive tea without the champagne/wine/non alchoholi cocktails as there is during the rest of the year so it was pricey at £79 each but it was lovely nonetheless!

We have a 2.5 year old son who loved the children’s themed puzzle tea! The Executive Chef even came out to greet us and gave us a private tour of the kitchen while we were waiting for our scones and sandwiches. For a mother who was concerned that our son would be too young, I was overly ecstatic about how he afternoon went. Highly recommended and best High Tea in London hands down.
