Weekend Brunch: Saturday & Sunday 11am - 3pm
Sadly my experience here wasn't great, we went for the tasting menu at the time and unfortunately some of the dishes came out cold or slightly over cooked. When paying for a sample menu your hoping to be drawn in by every dish and shown something new and exciting. Sadly my experience wasn't great, it could have been because it was a late night dinner making us the last ones in there. Overall I wouldn't go back, sorry.
Love this place but this weekend the food was slightly off it's best. Still great value and we love the service and atmosphere.
Great choice for brunch. Food was delicious, especially the pork belly. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.
Paradise Garage, down an unlikely ally in Bethnal Green, provided really interesting and delicious food at every course. Lively, a bit noisy, but fun to be there. Service was a bit slow, and the owner comped us with a surprise dessert to make up for it.
Very nice location, conveniently located near the tube. We went with high expectations, given the reviews we read. We went for the tasting menu and, despite being nice food, I delivered below expectations. The food was nicely presented but we were not wow-ed by the combination of textures and flavors. We often sent our taste buds out for adventure, trying to find the ingredients mentioned in the plate description, but they came back "empty handed". We thought there were probably too many ingredients and flavors together and the combination was not necessarily the best. The two best dishes were the oyster & almond and the Dexter bavette. The pork meat was not cooked well (on the hard side of things) while desserts were just ok. I also did not particularly like the runny smoked whiskey butter.
A last minute booking with absolutely no regrets. Fantastic and very affordable three course menu.
Delicious cocktails and very tasty food, though the portions were quite small for the price. Excellent service from knowledgable and friendly waiting staff. Would recommend.
Fancy, friendly, tasty, cool - it has been a very pleasant Saturday evening in the Paradise garage. The tasting menu was great food and the pairing wines net excellent. Next time again.
Delicious plates. Small portions. The construction view is a slight downer. But the restaurant is quite cute and artsy.
Food and service were both outstanding throughout. Very reasonable prices as well.
Really wonderful food and outstanding service. I would recommend the tasting menu.
Paradise Garage is excellent. End of. This was our second visit, having the tasting menu both times, and it's only got better. Each course is interesting, has unexpected elements and is totally delicious. I am still thinking about a cheese mousse several days later.
The wine and cocktails are excellent and it's a really lovely, relaxed room. Looking forward to the next time!
Outstanding food and service, highly recommended - one of the best meals out I have enjoyed in a long time
Absolutely enjoyed the evening. Food was on point & so was the service. Went for the tasting menu. Really enjoyed it.
I'm being super critical but £45 in Bethnal Green is a bit too steep.
We had an amazing time there.
We decided to go for the tasting menu and it was very good. Full of interesting flavors, If you like to try something new in terms of food, that's the place to go.
Would definitely recommend
An excellent tasting menu. The fish and dessert were particular highlights.
Food is fantastic. Highly recommend the smoked whisky butter and warm bread. A unique taste. Asparagus for starters was amazing and the pollock for main was top notch. Will definitely be back.
Went for brunch with friends and a baby. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and were probably the highlight of the experience. The food was excellent however some of the portion sizes seemed very small compared to others, and I was left wanting more. Would still recommend the restaurant though.
I had my eye on Paradise Garage for a while and last Saturday we suddenly felt like going to dinner last minute, just me and my husband. I saw on OpenTable that they had a 2 course menu for £20 with a glass of Prosecco when you come between 18h and 18.30 - we love early dinners so went for it. We were a bit early and the waiters were a bit awkward at first but that was ok. We ordered two cocktails which were amazing. When first ordering food I was a bit afraid of the portions (I read that on reviews as well) and they are not super big, but after 2 courses I actually had enough. And to be honest it's among the finest dining I have done and I loved each plate (even my husband's which I got a taste of). The only thing is we had to ask about the Prosecco 2 times but it came through and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great dining experience! Excellent wine pairing and service. Really recommend to pass by and and have some great food.
Sehr schönes Restaurant abseits der Touristenströme. Innovative Küche, frisch und schmackhaft. Restaurant designorientiert, sympathisch. Absolut empfehlenswert
Fabulous, innovative food in a cheerful venue offering great value for money. Warm and friendly service and an emphasis on sustainable ingredients zinging with flavour. Will be back in a heartbeat.
Ate here a few evenings ago & had the taster menu, many small courses but nothing stood out, trying to be innovative and nicely presented but for us the dishes lacked flavour. Price for two about £150 including a £40 bottle wine, nice decor and vibe to the place and staff looked happy in their work.
Truly enjoyed this neighbourhood gem. Even if I don't live in the area I will definitely make the effort again and make my way to taste the dishes in the inventive menu
I thought it would make a nice change rather than our usual choices of Canary Wharf, West End or Covent Garden but it was very disappointing.
The food was served in (teeth scraping) earthenware bowls one of which had a massive chip in it and the food was carefully placed on the outer edges I thought it was a garnish and we were waiting for the starter to come in a separate dish but not the case, this was the starter!
The Mains again served in same bowls and was again very sparse we ordered the lamb and when it arrived it looked like the (one) rib bone had already been eaten and this was the remains. We ordered side dishes, these were extra cost from the Lunch menu - when they arrived it was laughable the plates were the size of a small saucer and the 'kale' had approximately 5 cooked leaves on the plate the potatoes was a sliced potato cake (a very thin slither) in layers. The Restaurant is a refurbished Garage arch and the decor is very basic which begs the question why they feel the need to charge West End Prices on the wine list, I cannot imagine the overheads should warrant the need for these high prices. It was a special occasion for a Mother's Day Lunch but out party of four left there feeling disappointed and still very hungry! Maybe we'll stick to restaurants tried & tested.
Nice space and ambiance.
Food was a let down - nice enough but not as good as expected. We did the tasting menu with wine paring - the food and wine came out very quickly and we felt rushed out of the restaurant which is never ideal (ok if they told us that was the case when we were seated but we weren't told we needed to stick to a timeframe!). As this was a special birthday celebration that really felt like a let down.
Loved everything about Paradise Garage! Best restaurant of our London trip, can't wait to come back!
Had a fantastic dinner at Paradise Garage - every mouthful was a delight with fresh, flavourful, exciting cooking. Eating from the set menu (2 courses for £20, plus a glass of wine) meant it was incredibly good value. Lovely friendly staff as well. Loved it.
The best value tasting menu I have ever had. £45 for 8 courses and a further £35 for drinks pairings (a twisted G&T and 6 wines). Each course was good to excellent. We particularly loved the fish course and desserts.
Food was fantastic especially for the price, close to some great cocktail bars for before/after your meal as well. Highly recommended.
Food was very good - but didn't quite live up to the standards of the Dairy. Service really let it down unfortunately. We felt ignored a lot of the time and very little enthusiasm or interest from the staff. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings - it was excellent but it would have been nice to know a bit more about the wine we were drinking. Great venue though.
This is a great addition to Paradise Row. We went all out with the tasting menu and drinks pairing and we weren't disappointed. Top quality food but in a relaxed environment. Highly recommended
Very good tasting menu. Unlike some places that can have a tame and predictable tasting menu, this was incentive and varied. Excellent wine too.
Booked early evening so it was not busy and staff were very attentive. Enjoyed the food and wine. It was recommended by my daughter. Vegetarian menu also available...impressed!
Amazing!! Every plate was unreal, so creative and so incredibly delicious. Such friendly and relaxed service too. Whole experience was outstanding. Cannot wait to return
This was my 2nd visit. I brought a group of 4 friends as it is one of my favorite restaurant finds in 2016. We will return.
Fantastic food in a fun location with very attentive and pleasant service. Go for the Tasting Menu if you can because the portion sizes are teeny but the flavours are massive.
Delicious and varied tasting menu - at a decent price for such high quality. Great service - unobtrusive and relaxed. The venue has a lovely vibe, with the right balance of buzz without being too noisy. Will definitely be returning!
Convenient lunch spot when visiting the v&a childhood museum. Child friendly. Food was nicely cooked and presented. Yummy! although portions slightly on the small side. We went for the weekend lunch set which was pretty good value including a glass of wine.
This was my second visit to this fantastic restaurant & im seriously impressed by the high standard of the food at a very reasonable price. It caters superbly to vegetarians as well & I'm looking forward to my next visit. Keep up the good work Paradise Garage!
Lovely food. Lovely staff. A bit over keen on filling our glasses. I don't know if it's a genuine attentiveness thing or a way to get us to drink more, but we are able to lift a bottle - but that's a minor quibble. Food wasn't cheap but delicious flavours in all the courses.
