Chef Angelo Romano’s Paradiso restaurant exemplifies excellence. I initially felt a sense of hospitality on the phone when making a reservation; that hospitality was reinforced throughout the evening by the genuine warmth and confidence of the chef and staff. They are on top of their game and it shows.
The menu is a superlative exploration of the chef's Italian Riviera background. It relies heavily on locally caught seafood and light (almost simplistic) compositions that skillfully accent the flavors of the high quality ingredients…
Paradiso absolutely earned its stars. Not because of the meticulously clean and organized restaurant, nor the expert service, or even the amazing food and drink.
It is because all these aspects meshed together seamlessly, effortlessly and impeccably. Whereas some restaurants try to impress, Paradiso is simply impressive
Yellow Fin Tuna, Capers, Peppers, Olives, Cornichons
Fettuccine pasta, Veal Meat sauce
The ClassicLady Fingers, Espresso, Mascarpone Cheese
This was a beautiful evening. Open table recommended this restaurant and it was a gem!
The food was excellent service as well. So glad we found this beautiful restaurant.
3rd time within the last few months we ate here. Each time was terrific. Food is done to perfection. Would have liked something other than their house vegetable as an accompaniment to the excellent Orata. Risotto? Definitely pricey but truly excellent food.
great spot for a special event inside outside or in the bar area. beautifully situated and appointed with cheer and charm, it is a wonderful place to enjoy friendships or a special date!! Paradiso has a diverse and compelling menu and the food is very good!!
The restaurant was clean and quiet. The service was satisfactory. Outdoor seating was not set up. I was expecting to enjoy my dining experience outdoors.
Best Italian restaurant in Palm Beach County
Such a cool spot. Perfect date night. Ambiance is unparalleled! Beautiful outside seating and indoor aesthetic. HIGHLY recommend.
Service and food made it a very nice 93rd birthday.
Paradiso is a fabulous restaurant. From start to finish the experience was wonderful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
Went to our favorite Italian restaurant to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary amidst all the COVID 19 turmoil, and our friends at Paradiso helped make the evening special for us. Was a very quiet night, even though it was Father’s Day, but as usual the food was fantastic and service very attentive. The restaurant is observing all the necessary protocols with masks and tables set up for social distancing. They presented us with a gratis tiramisu, appropriately decorated. Thanks for a memorable night—we’ll see you soon.
Food is great. The ambience is wonderful: beautiful dining area, gentle music.
The restaurant was a bit understaffed when I visited however. It took too long to get service.
Fine Dining In Lake Worth. Generous drinks, superlative food, attentive service, varied menu, a place for foodies and gourmets. From the moment we walked in we were treated well. The varied menu offered many choices. Purely by chance we came early enough to enjoy a prix fixe special with many add-ons on the house.
The pricing here is not for the faint of heart. BUT, you get what you pay for. And it was well worth it.
The best Italian food in the USA!! Love Angelo and his staff. Always delicious and always wonderful to be welcomed like family!
We had a very nice dinner with friends on a Sunday evening. We were surprised that there were only three tables occupied in the room we were in. We all ordered the veal chop medium rare and it was excellent. Service was good but, with only three tables occupied and at these prices I would have expected that the servers would be more attentive and know who was to receive the dishes ordered. Neither the salads nor the desserts were given out correctly and when a correction was made it was done by picking up a plate and reaching in front of the guest to move it to the next seat. Main courses were all the same so they had no chance to mix them up, although when ordering and we were asked how we wanted them done, one of us responded: "as she chef best prepares it." The response was the chef will make it any way you like it.
In short, this is a great restaurant but the servers could use some polish.
Wonderful Italian restaurant in Lake Worth.
We had an exceptionally good dinner. The food was delicious and the service top notch. We highly recommend the restaurant and we will return.
This is my favorite restaurant. Love the food and the service. There’s a great early bird all year long and even at regular hours it’s still great.
Excellent food and service!
A little loud in the back dining room!
Angelo has been providing great food and service for nearly 20 years. Even on Valentines Day weekend the food and service were perfect on aa very busy and somewhat noisy night. Chestnut and Fig Risotto was divine. As always Luis was don the ball.
When I give this restaurant 3 stars having read such outstanding reviews, please note I do not do so lightly. I will start off by saying that it was Valentine’s Day and generally speaking one of the worst days of the year to go out for dinner. I was honestly surprised to have even gotten a reservation on such short notice., I had only made it on Wednesday since we were going to be in town for the weekend. That said, the staff made an effort to accommodate us as quickly as possible, and the hostess was very apologetic, we waited about 30 minutes. While at the bar, I tried to get a drink but was never able to get the bartender’s attention. The restaurant was definitely low on staff, maybe people called in sick, who knows? Point is, the service was slow, staff overwhelmed and the a/c wasn’t working. Since we had been waiting for a while we had read and re-read the menu several times and were ready to order, but needed to wait for The Captain to take our order. While we were waiting, I had a Negroni which was tasty. Captain took about another 1/2 hour to come over despite our Captain! Captain! calls he kept waving us down. So, Captain finally rushes over, takes our order. Had a second Negroni while we waited. Appetizer came out fairly quickly, we had the Fiori di Zucchini which was really good. They split it and put it in two plates for us which was a nice touch. About another 20-25 minutes later we had the LOMBATINE DI AGNELLO as our entree, which was $62 not $56 as stated online. We had to send it back because it was served rare. Second time around it was good. Not $62 good though, and with dessert and tip, our bill was $200 and herein my disappointment. My husband and I love dining out, and have no gripes about paying top dollar for a fine meal and dining experience. Unfortunately, Paradiso fell very short of our expectations on both counts. My only regret was missing out on what other diners raved about. Perhaps my mistake was expecting this on Valentine’s Day.
Food is always very good.
Tonight though the service was obviously overwhelmed.
Even heard the matre d telling the servers “no coffee - don’t serve coffee - we’re too busy”.
Kind of put a damper on a valentines evening dinner.
Nice place with a very nice atmosphere, the food is excellent, but the attention a bit slow. Maybe they are not well prepared for the days of much movement.
Extremely crowded. Service was extremely poor for the cost of the entrées. It took us 30 minutes to get a table despite a reservation. Another 40 minutes before we saw any food on the table. We had to call the waiter over initially since no one came over. Very disorganized, we definitely would never go back there. Poor value. Understaffed.
Good food with bad service!
Absolutely it’s was great food. Service was a little off but understandable due to Valentine’s Day.
we were seated outside at a forgotten table..on Valentines Day. Our waiter could not have cared less about our first experience at Paradiso. After 10 minutes, we got a menu. Someone else too our order, someone else served and cleared, but he never came and even asked how our dinner tasted..much less ever came and asked if we wanted dessert or coffee! The food was blah and overpriced and very drawn out. We were prepared to have a $$ Delicious, special dinner for Valentine's Day--how disappointing.
Celebrated Valentine's Day here. 1st time dining here, was not disappointed. Excellent service and food was amazing!
My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Paradiso and loveed everything about our experience - from the delicious and sophisticated cuisine to the elegant atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the attentive care of Giuseppe. A first class place for authentic Italian cuisine.
I have been going to Paradiso’s for years.Angelo puts his heart into his cooking.Food is excellent and always fresh.A true neighborhood gem.
Had good food in a nice venue! Lobster pasta special was excellent.
An absolute MUST when in the area. My only regret is that I went for a business lunch and wasn't able to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal. It was incredible. The cauliflower soup was the best I've ever tasted.
Amazing place...Everything was fabulous
The food, the service and ambiance never disappoint at this Lake Worth gem! Food is always so fresh and tasty! Thank you.
Attentive service and good food; we had an enjoyable time.
Outstanding restaurant!! Service was great and courteous. Veal Chop was OUTSTANDING as was the Bolognese and Salmon dish. No apps ordered, but they provided a house plate of table cheese and bruschetta. It was great with cocktails. I would definitely go back.
It was great having all the Italian male waiter’s. Their accents were. dreamy. It Really gave it a beautiful ambience. With that said the food was below par and the service was nonexistent.
The restaurant was partially empty and we had to wave the waiters down just a refill our water glasses.
The food on a scale from 1 to 10 what is a 4 1/2. Maybe I’m just the foodie, I know they tried but it just didn’t work for us.
They gave you a beautiful antipasto as an initial appetizer with Bread. That was by far the best!
Overpriced for the experience.
Best italian food in the west palm area. The food was outstanding, all the staff was very skilled and attentive especially when i needed something. Our carpaccio to start looked very nice as well as it tasted. The pasta is always tasteful and presentation was truly a work of art. The ambience was beautiful and romantic. Will dine again soon.
Although we frequent this place 5 times a year, and the restaurant was not filled to capacity, our waiter ignored us and I had to flag him down for service, the check, etc. As a result the meal dragged on 40 minutes longer than it needed to, which was hard on the older people at our table who did not want to drive home late. For an expensive restaurant, the interior really needed updating as well as sound proofing.
We went for our anniversary. Service was excellent as was the food. We did not feel pushed to turn the table. The noise was surprisingly loud. Not sure if it was the table next to us or not. The prices, in my view, were not over the top give the quality of the food and service.
