Stephen Starr's stylish addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy. Details such as well-worn wooden chairs, vintage framed paintings and photos and antique brass fixtures transport guests across the Atlantic. French doors spill onto a sidewalk terrace covered by a dark red awning perfect for dining "en plein air."

    I love Parc but I personally got pretty ill a few hours later from my meal which sucks given that this place is normally so good and expensive

    We had a lovely lunch. We ordered the warm shrimp salad with some lovely bubbly to go along with it. The bread basket does not disappoint as one of our highlights. We enjoyed cappuccinos and Profiteroles. Those were delicious! It is one of our favorite places to have a celebration. I don’t know if they read the comments when you make a reservation because we needed to ask for the baby high chair and it was my daughter‘s birthday and nothing was mentioned. Not sure if they do anything, but we’ve been there for birthdays and Mother’s Day and other special occasions. We highly recommend Parc!

    Overall, Parc is a great choice for a cool place in Rittenhouse square. My only issue is that if you truly need or want a quiet and private type conversation, it may not be ideal. It can be a bit noisy, but that is because it is a certain upbeat vibe in there - people coming and going, busy all the time, etc. Quiche and salad are great, as are the french fries. Lots of good options at various price points. The ability to sit along the sidewalk overlooking Rittenhouse square is great and good for people watching!

    Outside table on 18th street is best place to sit for people-watching & socializing. Food and service are top-notch.

    Parc is the perfect 'Paris Bistro in Rittenhouse' experience! Definitely a Philly Best. Wonderful service, gorgeous food, (the bread!!) diverse and fabulous guests (like sitting presidents, artists, fashion designers, happy-hungry locals and eager travelers) and an energetic, elegant ambience. We have been regulars since the restaurant opened in 2008, and never tire of it. Each Parc experience delivers something familiar, and something wildly different. We LOVE this place!

    The perfect restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, which we do here most every year. A true Parisian bistro in Philadelphia? Yes. Service was exceptional (!) with an attentive and cordial server. Food was very good although some changes seem to have been made in the way the escargot and duck dishes were presented since the last time we were there. (The plate of duck with plumb sauce was so spare.) And the prices? Inflation seems to have reserved a table there as well. But, what with the exceptional service and sparkling ambiance -- and the food is very good -- a perfect spot for a special celebration.

    We had a table overlooking the park so the ambiance was amazing. We shared a beet salad, I had Beef Bourguignon and my husband had the Black Bass special. The food was excellent. Our waitress was the perfect combination of attentiveness but also gave us some space. We’ll be back I’m sure.
