Fantastic meal in lovely surroundings, with views of the deer park. The autumn tasting menu was amazing, although one little gripe: the foie gras with the ox cheek seemed a bit over the top, and didn't really add much to the dish, in my opinion. But overall a great way to celebrate my wife's birthday!
Excellent food, attentive service without being intrusive and beautiful grounds. Pricey, but a wonderful way to celebrate a special birthday.
Just amazing- excellent venue, service, food, wines
A real gem - arriving in the evening to see the deer wandering was special - amazing property - great service- food and wine paring excellent - sommelier who is passionate about the wines and clearly a well trained crew on service and obviously an amazing team in the kitchen
As always Paris House had an amazing atmosphere and extremely attentive service.
The wine paring was spot on and the sommelier had some interesting stories behind each of them.
Excellent food and wine. Service was delightful with very friendly and courteous staff but it all seemed a little rushed with little time between courses.
We celebrated a birthday with a group of four of us. Very welcoming service and the food was delicious, a couple of interesting pairings but on the whole very nice. It is extremely hard to get a booking but the restaurant seemed only half full so it was very quite. Sometimes as a group you though you were being too loud.
Service, food & wine fantastic and we would definitely return
We very much enjoyed our meal and experience at Paris House. We would have preferred a crisp white table cloth over the bare wood table which would have g
Food and wine were sublime, The courses and service felt a little rushed towards the end of the evening.
Excellent all round. Food amazing, well thought out very tasty dishes and the presentation was excellent. Service attentive and friendly. Will visit again.
Paris House is set in the most wonderful grounds and is an amazing looking building with a beautiful interior. The staff were attentive, relaxed, friendly and well-informed. The tasting menus were delicious and suitably varied. We had a sense of anticipation about each course and were not disappointed.
Nice service and food but there was a distinct lack of atmosphere due to only 3 tables being in use. Tables were not ‘dressed’ as we expected them to be and dessert was served in a plastic bowl ! So the experience did not live up to our expectations especially given the cost of £300 for a meal for two.
Amazing as always!
Staff are friendly. Food never fail to surprise us.
Another superb meal at Paris House, i chose the vegetarian option which i was delighted with. Thank you Phil Fanning and your team we will be back soon.

Had a fantastic meal taster menu with the wine cheese and port . The service was excellent and beautiful settings as you drive up to the restaurant. The staff are so friendly and welcoming can’t wait to return .
As always an excellent experience at Paris house, fine dining with great service but not a stuffy environment. Even for a Thursday night which was cold and windy felt like such a nice treat and experience to visit here, we did the set menu which had a delicious mix of crab, pigeon, cheese course, dover sole, chocolate deserts. You can also add wine pairing with the sommelier who has such great experience and recommendations. The staff are really knowledgeable, know the whole menu and where ingredients are from which makes Paris house a special experience.
Excellent experience for a special occasion. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Six-course tasting menu with wine flights - not sure if there were any other menu options. Desserts were a little too complicated/fussy, after the superb earlier courses, but overall we enjoyed the whole experience.
Beautiful, well balanced dishes. Flavours complementary (fixed course menu).
Relaxed informal efficient service. Wines a little expensive (e.g. £17.50 for Kir Royale).
A great dining experience; from sitting on the terrace with cocktails watching the deer to the taster menu at our table.
It was impressive to find that there was both a large amount of space between tables and very attentive staff.
The wine pairings with the menu was superb and it was a joy learning about the wines and why they were paired.
Food was up to the usual high standard,
Two desserts was excessive - too much sweetness, and one would have been enough.
The best thing about the end-of-meal chocolates was the wooden box. They were, to my mind, overpriced and not enough flavour (try those from the HIghland Choclatier).
The room is tastefully decorated but lacks soft furnishings so noises are not absorbed, and my party suffered from a noisy group nearby.
Great evening with friends to celebrate a special birthday. Every course of the taster menu was beautiful, tasty, a real work of art. Adaptations for a shellfish allergy were just as good as everything else. The wine pairing isn’t cheap but certainly finishes the experience. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and had a nice rapport. Only thing I thought was the handmade chocolates, as an extra were expensive on top of the price of the menu, champagne and coffees.
Lovely food, attentive but not oppressive service, great sommelier explanations, pleasant surroundings - many years since we last came v pleased. Good veggie option on tasting menu too
Fantastic experience once again, summer tasting menu spot on 👍😊
We had an excellent evening at Paris House. The food and pairing wines were amazing. Would definitely recommend the experience.
Special afternoon lunch treat. Superb and interesting taster menu and service outstanding with knowledgeable staff.
An incredible dining experience. Definitely recommend it.
Thoroughly excellent. One veggie tasting menu, one meaty. My veggie version was clearly prepared with as much care and attention as the standard one, which does not always happen.
Very nice little fresh cooked savoury beignets served while we ordered, plus freshly baked bread and wonderful Marmite butter, and we chose one wine pairing to share, which our waiter seemed to think was perfectly acceptable. The paired wines were exactly the same for both menus.
It was nice to have items we would not normally eat at home -Banana blossom? Carpaccio of pigeon?
I loved the little touches which were not mentioned on the menu, for example fantastic rice noodles, home made, with the artichoke and hamachi courses. Probably, though it sounds dull, the beetroot carpaccio was my favourite, thanks to its dressing and presentation.
Maybe the two puddings were a bit much, possibly swapping one for a small cheese plate would be good, as opposed to needing to order a full plate. Maybe this was possible, I did not think to ask.
We had been given a Paris House gift token by friends and they could not have chosen anything more enjoyable. Nice friendly waiters, beautiful views, excellent food. Thank you!
Food and Wine were outstanding. The decor is tired and needs a refresh. The team were knowledgeable and courteous but lacked a little engagement and warmth. Overall and for the food alone worth a visit but save up!
We visited Paris House to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Exceptional venue for a special occasion and the setting in the grounds is beautiful, the food and wine was amazing as were the people serving us. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening - thank you so much
Enjoyed a lovely evening in a beautiful location.
Excellent location, well presented dining room. The tasting menu (the only option at the time) was very good. All the courses were very tasty and quite innovative, if anything the last course was a little heavy for me and detracted from the rest of the meal.
Definitely a place to visit again.
A sumptuous experience of excellent food and top notch levels of service from the staff. The tasting menu may have elements that don’t meet everyone’s taste, but overall the food is exceptional in both taste and presentation. The staff achieve that fine balance between professionalism, information and an ability to develop a rapport with the diners. The setting is unique and builds anticipation from the moment you leave the main road. The restaurant provides ample space for table separation, but if the main lights were dimmed we would benefited from the candle on the table in creating a more intimate feel at our table.
Generally, it was incredibly good, but one disappointment was they took away the menu for the 6-course discovery menu before we ate. The problem was, because of the Covid Masks it was exceedingly difficult to understand the waiter's descriptions of the food hence some of the discovery was missed.
Set in a really beautiful location. The food was absolutely delicious & the staff were amazing with their knowledge and etiquette. They couldn’t do enough!! Will be going back for the winter menu- highly recommend!!!
Staff were amazing and very knowledgeable. Great location.
Was not keen on the pigeon on the rosemary skewer, quite chewy, and I was a fan of the popping candy in the desert, but everything else was amazing. Thankyou.
Had a great celebration lunch.
Food and wine excellent.
Staff friendly and efficient.
First time I have eaten here, and I am a big fan of the tasting menu approach with paired wines. 7 courses including an optional cheese course. The setting was also superb.
The food was fantastic - some wonderful flavours and presented very well. Service was also great - the sommelier in particular really knew his stuff. The wines went very well indeed with their paired courses.
Overall, this was a great experience for our wedding anniversary. The bill, though, was eye-watering - nearly £400 for two! Only really doable for a special occasion.
Paris House is situated on the Woburn estate and the first thing that greets you are the deer wandering around.
The house itself is a beautiful 'Tudor' style. we were greeted by a member of staff upon arrival and shown straight to our table.
From then on nothing is too much trouble.
Each of the 'tasting' dishes are explained in detail and the food is absolutely amazing. I can't recommend Paris House enough.
We will be going back to sample their Autumn Tasting menu.
a great evening to celebrate our 36th Anniversary.
Yet again a wonderful meal with fabulously friendly service in a beautiful setting - what more can you say!
