Fantastic food and efficient, friendly, helpful service
Lovely food from pre-theatre menu. Will try main menu next time. Discrete but safe Covid precautions.
Fantastic food, staff very friendly, good cocktails and they make a great Irish coffee
Fabulous food, great service. Will definitely highly recommend.
The food here is of a very high quality. We ate the Tom Kha Kai, Plar Neur – Yum Saow Dod, Kaeng Panang and the
Pad Ka Prow. All of our dishes were delicious and we left full and happy. We matched our food with a few beers, we really enjoyed the ‘Leo’ Which we hadn’t tried before. We also had a cocktail which was very nice.
The restaurant are doing great in terms of Covid guidelines, with hand sanitiser at the entrance that they ask everyone to use, staff wearing masks and only a small number of tables in use to allow for social distancing.
Thanks you for a lovely meal, we will be back soon.
We booked on a monday evening whilst spending two days in Edinburgh. It was a late booking so the restaurant was quieter than possibly usual with only half dozen tables occupied which made it nice and quite.
The food was fantastic, probably the nicest Thai meal I've ever had, served promptly, hot and beautifully laid out.
Our main server was very pleasant and very welcoming and very good at his job. The lady that seemed to be either the head waiter or owner was very meticulous about everything about the service we received and clearly has exceptionally high standards for service which was great but for me could be argued was to a point where some of the warmth was lost.
Would i go again or recommend to others, without a doubt yes. I cant see myself ever visiting Edinburgh again without going for a meal at Passorn Thai
Excellent food and service, best Thai food I’ve eaten in a long time.
Food was good, service was ok. Anything above level 3 spice is probably too spicy for most
Enjoyed the experience, visited during the Covid - 19 situation and the restaurant was compliant with the rules.
Food was really nice and was served perfectly times for me and my partner, allowing a good bit of time to enjoy our drinks and chat in between courses.
Parking nearby was quite difficult but i would definitely return here.
We were visiting Edinburgh and craved for Thai food. I saw that the place has high review rates so I didn’t hesitate to book. It did not disappoint! We ordered Tom Yum, Tom Kha and spring rolls for starters. And the signature red and green curries for mains. Everything is very tasty! Good value for money plus the place has very classy ambience.
Food was really delicious and presented beautifully. Lots of choice. Service was excellent.. would go again.
A really nice restaurant. Excellent food. Would definitely go again
We recently had a wonderful meal at Passorn Thai. The food and the service was excellent. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and service.
Best Thai food in Edinburgh simple as that! Never disappointed
Nice welcome and well managed from a covid point of view. Very good, friendly service and delicious food. Although more expensive than other restaurants, I think it's well worth it.
Amazing food, I highly recommend the Tom yum soup!
Lovely food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and nicely decorated.
Had a fantastic meal at Passorn. Well worth the visit and will return next time visiting Edinburgh.
Amazing food and great service. Would recommend. Will be back at some point.
Food and service consistently good, love the food here and always a warm welcome.
The food here is outstanding we were spoilt for choice. Staff were fantastic, highly recommended
This is our favourite Thai in Edinburgh. The food is excellent as is the presentation. The service is always attentive and professional.
Absolutely delicious food! A bit different from your typical Thai in a really great way. We could not recommend this place more!
Recommended by a friend, excellent choice of options, just starting to explore Thai food and nowhere better to start, portions decent and prices great value especially the pre theatre option but son went for the big menu and his monkfish was fragrant not overpowering and was a decent price too. Will definitely be back, great eat out
Shocking service, warm drinks, not worth the money, would not recommend
Nice meal one error rice was plastic tasting and came I'm.plastic bag 🙈. Generally nice. Romantic meal beautiful city
Food was great as usual, though the portion size seemed to be smaller than our last visit. Social distancing / hygiene measures were good. The first staff member who greeted us assumed that we didn't have a booking (which we did) and asked us to leave, before walking off.
The food was well presented and tasted amazing. Superb value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Passorn. Attentive
and helpful staff.
Very tasty food in very pleasant surroundings. Excellent service but the waiters had to be instructed to slow down between courses; they need to relax more.
The food at Passorn is absolutely delicious and the staff are always kind and attentive. My family and I eat here regularly and have already made more reservations to go soon! Definitely a family favourite!
Very friendly staff. The food was also amazing! Went during the eat out to help out scheme so was extremely good value for money!
Great meal thank you
Fantastic welcome. Great food great service. All staff pope’s. great night. Thank you to the entre team 🤗
Wonderful service, ambience, service and food. Very safe and sanitised and a great option during the current climate. Perfection.
One staff member in particular was excellent, and the food was delicious!
We were two people for dinner. One of us chose a la carte, the other had the pre-theater menu. Both pre-theater dishes (king prawns in Thai salad; crispy sea bass fillet) were well seasoned, vibrant, and prettily arranged, although the prawns were slightly overcooked and chewy. The a la carte dishes were average: The spring rolls were crispy, but somewhat lacked in seasoning and the accompanying dipping sauce was too sweet and overwhelmed the other flavours. The monkfish had been battered and fried, but then completely covered in turmeric and coconut sauce (why would you do such a thing?), which rendered the batter soggy. The sauce itself had a pleasant aroma of coconut, but the lack of acid made it slightly monotonous and overly rich.
The front of house manager (owner?) was brusque, but the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food presentation excellent, staff very courteous.
Amazing food and service as always! Pleased that Passorn is open for business again post Covid 19
