We eat regularly at Passorn and the food is excellent but the Bangkok lunch menu had changed and my Thai fish cakes as a starter were not as good as usual. My wife had the sea bass and that recipe had also changed and was not as good as usual.

One of our favourite restaurants and was not disappointed with the food service or the adjustments made regarding covid restrictions. Our table however, despite being booked for 19:30&arriving only 5minutes early wasn't ready until 19:45 &because of restrictions were asked to wait outside

Superb tasting food, good service. The restaurant was very quiet - Covid times, 9pm Thursday evening - with one other table in use, who left shortly after we arrived. We'd driven 380 miles, so were tired and hungry.

They were quick in serving the food and helpful with suggestions and advice. Take their warnings about spice seriously! Their 1-5 scale of spiciness is genuine. I like spicy food, and a rating of 3 was enough for me.

One minor criticism: they close the kitchen at 9:45, and they didn't tell us. We wanted a little bit of dessert after our main meal but, because we finished at 9:50, they couldn't serve us. If they'd warned us, we could have ordered in advance.

It was a nice restaurant, lovely setting and great staff. However in most Thai restaurants there is a mild option on most dishes, and unfortunately a large amount of their dishes were spicy. Unfortunately I then had to have two side dishes. Not the restaurants fault but usually in Thai restaurants (in London) there is more of a choice and a more extensive menu. Wouldn't advise you to visit here if you can't handle spicy food.

The food here is of a very high quality. We ate the Tom Kha Kai, Plar Neur – Yum Saow Dod, Kaeng Panang and the
Pad Ka Prow. All of our dishes were delicious and we left full and happy. We matched our food with a few beers, we really enjoyed the ‘Leo’ Which we hadn’t tried before. We also had a cocktail which was very nice.

The restaurant are doing great in terms of Covid guidelines, with hand sanitiser at the entrance that they ask everyone to use, staff wearing masks and only a small number of tables in use to allow for social distancing.

Thanks you for a lovely meal, we will be back soon.

We booked on a monday evening whilst spending two days in Edinburgh. It was a late booking so the restaurant was quieter than possibly usual with only half dozen tables occupied which made it nice and quite.

The food was fantastic, probably the nicest Thai meal I've ever had, served promptly, hot and beautifully laid out.

Our main server was very pleasant and very welcoming and very good at his job. The lady that seemed to be either the head waiter or owner was very meticulous about everything about the service we received and clearly has exceptionally high standards for service which was great but for me could be argued was to a point where some of the warmth was lost.

Would i go again or recommend to others, without a doubt yes. I cant see myself ever visiting Edinburgh again without going for a meal at Passorn Thai

Enjoyed the experience, visited during the Covid - 19 situation and the restaurant was compliant with the rules.

Food was really nice and was served perfectly times for me and my partner, allowing a good bit of time to enjoy our drinks and chat in between courses.

Parking nearby was quite difficult but i would definitely return here.

We were visiting Edinburgh and craved for Thai food. I saw that the place has high review rates so I didn’t hesitate to book. It did not disappoint! We ordered Tom Yum, Tom Kha and spring rolls for starters. And the signature red and green curries for mains. Everything is very tasty! Good value for money plus the place has very classy ambience.
