Typically the way our dinner works is start with a salad and appetizer then we are ready to start the dinner, so you should expect to the dinner to last about an hour and a half. You should expect one dish of differents kinds of Pasta, Seafood and chicken.
We do accommodate larger parties as well.
Friday & Saturday 5-10PM
I've had the pleasure of dining at Pasta Freska on numerous occasions. Every time has been a homemade taste treat! Highly recommended!
Great experience, amazing people and amazing food !
Show up hungry!!! If you are adventurous and willing to eat what is served to you, this is the place for you! No menu, they ask preference of meat, seafood, chicken or no meat. From there on, it’s one delicious plate after another delivered. We had salad. sea bass, chicken, tenderloin, spaghetti an eggplant dish, clams, shrimp, pasta and dessert. Come hungry and give yourself a couple of hours to relax and enjoy your meal(s).
Lovely time, great food, and better wine.
I love this place and always celebrate my birthday here. Chef Michael is always welcoming and I love the food and atmosphere.
Love this place! It is one of my favorites. What a pleasure to not have to order anything. Great food and wine just keep coming until you are full.
Food was good and the price was as expected. We paid just shy of $100 for two. This included wine, dessert and tip. While not having a menu made us a little nervous, the chef stuck to fairly main stream food that was tasty. We had read other reviews about the long wait and they turned out to be true. We had a reservation at 7:30pm and were not sat till 8:00pm but once we got our table the food started rolling out at a decent rate. If you are ok with timing not being exact, it’s worth it.
What a wonderful evening! Concept: The Chef visits your table to see if you have any food allergies or dislikes... then just sit back while 8 or 9 different dishes start arriving at your table... absolutely delicious (all of them) and the staff are all phenominal. No menu to read, no choices to make - just wonderful surprises (one after the other)!
Absolutely a great place for special occasions and the great value
So awesome not having to spend time looking at a menu or having to decide which plate we wanted to go with. We felt like we got to taste a little of everything!
I have been to Pasta Freska several times, and I always come away pleased. On this occasion, my wife and I took some people from my work. It was their first experience. In the beginning, they were a bit dubious about the fact that there is no menu. By the end of the meal, they were all converts! Chef Mike takes care of everyone's dietary needs, on an individual basis. You will leave satisfied and happy! We took a couple there once, who were gluten intolerant. They couldn't eat beef or tomatoes or corn. They had a great meal, and continue to love the restaurant.
Festive and fun. No menus so courses are a surprise. Decor is old fashioned but still worth your while.
Excellent experience! Fresh pasta! Chef goes to your table and decides prepare your dinner based on your restrictions. Everything was delicious
We went with our 5 year old and another family with an infant. One of us is a vegetarian and we were easily accommodated. We had great wine, amazing food and a lot of it.
The chef cares about his guests and even if they are slammed (which they were tonight) he makes a point to apologize with a glass of champagne to you.
Amazing meal. They serve the best food, you won’t be disappointed
Chef Mike was great. He brought many, many courses and it was a fun & unique dining experience. Fantastico!
I loved this place! The food was amazing and very unique. I will be back again soon
We had a reservation, were waiting for 20 minutes, nobody came neither to greet us, sit us to the a table or ask for more patience. They were clearly over booked but I think you can do better than this service wise. We left without having dinner
Great family atmosphere- with a good energy for fun and conversation.
We were skeptical about eating whatever the owner felt like serving that night but if you believe in the maxim that a restaurant is only as good as the basic ingredients used, then the idea has a lot of merit. The food was exceptional for the price. They have some outstanding Italian wines, but we opted for a less expensive wine which was a good value. We will definitely return. Not knowing what they might serve you is half of the fun of this reasonably priced place.
Such a sweet location and unique dining experience! The chef develops his menu daily and you're in for a spontaneous meal when you sit down. Definitely a must do!
Perfect Pre-prom dinner for my son and his friends. The chef brought out his special recommendations and treated themgraciously. A great dining experience for the youngsters.
Very personable host and waiters were right there with next fish at beginning, giving more time between meals toward the end and dessert. So move to simply talk, drink wine and not worry about what comes you had to make. Bravo to the chef and owner..
If it were possible to give Mike's food 6 stars, I would do it. It's been 7+ years since our last visit yet Mike remembered us, remembered our food likes/dislikes, and chatted with us about all the changes. Fantastic food mostly customized to your tastes. There is no menu; you just talk with Mike and magic happens. It's well worth fighting to find parking (parking would be the only downside) and then driving again to get to theatre.
Great food and fun time
The place looked pretty run down, inside was a bit cleaner. There were fruit flies everywhere and we were not asked what type of Wine we wanted one was opened and placed in front of us. When we looked it up on google it showed the cost to be $7.50-$20.00 when the bill came the bottle of wine was almost $40.00. If you were to go to this place be ready for sticker shock when the bill comes, for 2 people it was over $110.00 not including a tip.
Amazing food and wine. Chef chooses food and wine for you. Delicious.
Love the surprise element of this place. You get about 7 courses and you aren’t sure what is coming next. Every course was excellent.
This was our second time in the last two months to celebrate a birthday. First time was great. This time was a disaster. Food was cold. The same sauce was on the first three dishes. The last dishes were served from a pan dripping with sauce. Owner couldn’t remember what we had. The presentation was absolutely disgusting! This was a $175.00 meal for four people and truly owner should be ashamed! It was busy , meal took 2 1/2 hours. This would of never been served on King 5 like we were served! We will NEVER go back and first Seattle resteraunt with this bad of experience!!!
Enjoyed our meal !! It was creative, delicious and fun !!
Outstanding dinner and personal experience. Having to not order off a menu was the best!
The most amazing restaurant. In the 10 years I've been dining there I have never been disappointed.
Unusual place. You meet with the chef and discuss what you eat and don't eat and then they bring you food--you don't choose. Everything was well prepared and interesting. The food was very good and although we didn't choose our own meal, everything was great.
We love this place. No menu, no fuss - just a great person who asks you if there is anything you do not eat and if you would like a glass of wine. Then the wine and food start flowing. All the while a lovely singer is doing requests around the room. Love it!
Fun place. Food so so. Requested no shellfish and our “chicken “ course tasted good but also distinctly like shrimp to me and my guest.... mentioned this to server who said that was not possible. He offered to bring something else which I declined.
Charmed by the owner and chef every time I visit! The food and atmosphere is exceptional. We make special trips into Seattle just to eat at Pasta Freska. Would recommend to EVERYONE.
The chef will greet you at your table to discover your preferences, but then your meal will be a mystery. You'll eat whatever the chef makes! It's all delicious and there is so much food.
What a terrible experience. My husband and I arrived at 6:45 for dinner and left at 9pm - not by choice, but because the food, which was spread out over 6 tapas/servings, took over 2 hours to be served. When asked when the next food will arrive, the staff seemed to have no idea and only offered vague time estimates that turned out to be inaccurate. The tapas, themselves, were very mediocre and small. Although tasty, they were not worth the time or the money spent ($28 per person). I was still hungry leaving the restaurant.
The worst part about our meal was the service. I watched as the owners and the servers went around to all the other tables refilling waters, getting bread for other patrons, and clearing plates. Maybe it was because of where we were sitting, but my husband and I did not get any attention unless the food was FINALLY being served. Even then, I had to ask for my water to be refilled or plates to be cleared. We tried asking the owner what we were eating, and he would brush us off and only say one-worded answers. I do not understand why the service was so bad, given that the owner and the servers were just standing around waiting for the food to be cooked (which, again, why did it take so long?).
If you choose to come, make sure you have already eaten otherwise you will be very grumpy.
Awesome. More words required per the app
We love this place! No menu, no problem. The foods always good and the wines well paired.
