We sat at the bar and the service was excellent! I had great martinis! Food was delicious!
Choices are less now. Also quantity is less.
I have been there many times. I felt the taste is not as great as used to be.
Pasta pane is my favorite restaurant! Food and everything was amazing!
Had reservation. Few people in restaurant. They tried to seat us at a 2 square foot table with a plex screen where you couldn’t move arms. Then they tried to give us a table in same room next to freezing window. After acting like we were a nuisance they fInally seated us in bar where there were several tables free and socially distant. Caesar salad dressing tasted like ranch, had no croutons ( only a Parmesan crisp) and had a mushy tomato slice, house salad had HUGE leaves not torn at all with one mushy tomato slice. Both salads served in dishes that were overflowing and hard to cut up. Had a second glass of Chianti which was harsh & not the same as the first. Crime brûlée was good. Server was very pleasant. We were regular customers who traveled 1 and 1/2 hours to eat there. Will never go back .
Food was very good, but had a minor experience that was not satisfactory. We orderd an
entree of Chicken Pollo Pane which came with Spinach and Potato. My partner asked if he could have a side of pasta instead of the starch and veggie. No problem according to our waitress she would substitute the potato and veggie for the pasta. However when we got our check we were charged an extra $3.00 for the pasta and was told if he had the starch and veggie plus the pasta it would have been $12.00 since it would be considered a chicken parmesan. (this was told to me by the hostess) What??? The pasta cost is cheaper than the potato and veggie! Question: If you are going to be charged the $3.00 extra for a side of pasta then serve the potato and veggie (since it comes with the dinner) with a side of pasta. Oh we were told by the hostess they do not serve sides of pasta, only small bowls or large entrees.
No waiting, excellent service and food. Well protected for covid-dining.
Our favorite place - reminds us of NYC restaurants!
Best restaurant in Clifton Park. Food is amazing, excellent happy hour, and great service every time.
We love everything about Pasta Pane, from the beautiful ambiance, great food and service is amazing. Always accommodating. My favorite is the bruschetta pizza and the eggplant dish is wonderful too.. but have had many other menu items as we’ve been customers there for many years! Especially love their cocktails also, and Peroni on draft is a real bonus! Given our ever challenging times with the pandemic, the staff does everything possible to keep all patrons safe... thank you !
Always yummy
Love this restaurant, the ambiance and the food are excellent. You get exactly what you pay for, I always take food home because i can’t finish.
Great food, casual yet upscale atmosphere, friendly staff.
I had the Lobster ravioli and it was excellent as usual.
We were seated at a table that was distanced far enough away from others and had a wooden divider in between the tables. My husband had a draft beer and I had a red sangria. We shared a casa salad, and for the entrees he had the fruitti de mare and I had the pollo pane which had spinach & roasted potatoes with it. Both dishes and salad were very good. Wait staff was very good and service was prompt.
My wife and I made a wonderful date
Wonderful service and food is wonderful. Great neighborhood place!
We sat at the bar and were ignored frequently through the entire dining experience. It started with being offered bread and watching everyone else receive bread. Having an empty glasses of beer or wine- .... just a disappointment having been regular customers.
We came on a Saturday night at 7:30 for our anniversary dinner. Our table was in a nice spot, away from other people. The food and service was spectacular as always. We liked the fact there was time between appetizers and our entrees. There is nothing worse than feeling rushed! The noise level was really really loud when we first got there, but it calmed down a bit after a few larger parties had left. We can't wait to go back again!
Very nice experience.Always enjoy coming here.We come here every year for our Anniversary in December.
Just WOW! We had excellent service from Matthew and Sarah. The muscle appetizer was delicious. My husband had the pork shank and the meat fell off the bone . The salmon was cooked perfectly. Of course, we had to have dessert and both were wonderful. Zeppoles and sorbet were our selections. This restaurant is doing everything right. Do not hesitate to make a reservation.
Sat at the bar- was promptly greeted and great service throughout our time there! Pizza was great- maybe a bit more toppings but the flavors were spot on!!
Great place to chill.
Our waitress was friendly and prompt. Food was very good. The hostess was extremely friendly and wished us a happy anniversary upon arrival. Saturday 9/26
Anniversary dinner. Absolutely delicious!!
We have always loved this restaurant and they never disappoint. The food and service last night was phenomenal and I would recommend this restaurant for a special or just a nice dinner out.
Arancini was quite good but both pasta dishes we had for dinner had very little flavor. Seems like they try to add cheese to things to cover up for the fact that there work hardly enough herbs, salt etc. The outdoor seating is 100% not socially distanced. Tables remain on top of each other and when people are sitting at the table next to you it is impossible to be more than two feet apart. I expected better of this place.
Outstanding service. Love the patio!
excellent food- always consistent! great price point for the large portions you get!
This experience was below the quality I'm used to at Pasta Panne. Hope to see it improve next time.
Wife’s birthday
Great dinner experience!!
The dining experience was very pleasant. We were left to enjoy dinner at the pace we set. It was a great night out.
Service was slow. Our waitress was busy doing other things so we waited for everything. Food was great.
My husband & I shared a casa salad which was good, I ordered the Pollo Pane and my husband had the Frutti Di Mare which he always likes here. My chicken was breaded and fried with cheese on top and covered with chopped tomatoes and arugula. Also had oven browned potatoes and summer squash as the vegetables. More than enough leftover to take home for lunch the next day. Hubby had a couple of draft beers and I had a red sangria which was good too.
We sat on the back patio which was busy but very comfortable. Wait staff was very attentive.
Love the atmosphere and the prices are perfect. Very clean and following all the protocols.
We wanted to sit outside but we were sat too close to a neighboring table which made us uncomfortable.
It’s was great to be out again and feel like life is getting back to normal. Calamari was amazing (we agreed it was the beat we’d had in over 20 years).
As always, excellent food and service. We sat on the covered patio, which was beautiful and clean.
Fun specialty cocktails, delicious dinner specials and the classics on the menu were great.
Excellent food....excellent service ..affordable...
Great appetizer and meals on the patio. No wait on a Friday evening, and the food was delicious. The Pasta Norma was awesome.
Fabulous food, all employees were wearing masks and there was no sharing of oil & vinegar, crushed red pepper etc. Felt very safe and appreciative that we could enjoy a meal at one of our favorite restaurants safely. Recommend to friends and look forward to returning.
Friendly attentive service. Food was fresh and tasted great.
