Choice of Penne or Capellini. With marinara or butter sauce
Tomato, mozzarella, basil
We requested outside dining. Our table was ready upon arrival and the space was more than adequate. Unfortunately the noise level was so loud that conversation was nearly impossible and this ruined the experience. In addition, our server was very slow upon presentation, nearly waiting a half hour before our dinner order was taken. I literally went to the maitre'd to ask for our server to take our order.
Our reservation (Tues night)was for outdoors, but in light of the storm warnings that were over the system; my friend asked about an inside seat & was told by the blonde girl at the desk that tables were very limited and she had to decide right away. That would have been ok were it not for her brusque and rude attitude. That was unnecessary, especially since they were giving warnings of extremely serious storms urging everyone to stay indoors.
My RATING WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHER WERE IT NOT FOR THAT WELCOME TO THE RESTAURANT
Great service & fantastic food. The restaurant was busy but noise level was very manageable. A great evening was had by both my wife & I.
First time here as we normally dine in Saratoga but wanted to venture out. Very nice ambience and very lively. Very good value for what you get and the food quality was solid italian fare, though not outstanding or memorable and was a bit limited (eg, no veal, chicken or eggplant parmesan). The only drawback was the quality of service. Wasn't very attentive and missed a few items -- eg, butter with the bread, utensils for dinner.
very noisy tables too close together for my comfort had a pasta dish pasta was stuck together
We were visiting and our host recommended the restaurant. I was glad we reserved an outside table as the restaurant was incredibly noisy. Our server, Brian was helpful, friendly and efficient. My husband ordered a Brie and pear pizza which he expected to be somewhat like a tart but it was more like a flatbread. Pear purée and a thin coat of melted brie with a pile of arugula on top. My salmon was served with roasted potatoes and green beans. The glaze made the dish and I sopped up every but with the potatoes. We did not have drinks, appetizers or dessert. I might go back but I expected more from the food.
The food was amazing but it took almost an hour to get our food and the waitress was new and not very familiar with the menu.
Given all the struggles restaurants are facing right now, it didn't seem a thing was out of place at Pasta Pane. We have been coming here regularly for years and tonight we were not disappointed. Plenty of attentive help and food was fantastic.
We loved environment and the service. I didn’t like the pasta Vodka. It was tested nothing.
My wife and I had been to pasta pane before and found it to be ok. We were craving Italian for our first anniversary dinner, and they did not disappoint. My wife had one of the specials with spinach linguine and there was no push back given when she asked if she could substitute chicken for sea scallops. I had the penne and vodka sauce and that was excellent as well.
One of my favorite places to go get Riggis 🙌🏼
Wonderful restaurant - service was excellent, food was good
Small family reunion over the 4th of July weekend, food, service, ambiance were wonderful, Highly recommend!!
Service was terrible. If they were understaffed, they should’ve sat fewer tables. Waited 45 minutes on a Friday for salads and appetizers to arrive. Couldn’t get water refills and even asked for a larger glass to make it easier and it never arrived. Questionable as to whether some of the food was fresh or frozen. Expensive for what it was. Won’t go back.
Great service as always with Brian! The food was delicious too. We will be back soon!
Enjoyable evening overall
Amazing pizza, arancini, and pasta!!! Would definitely go back for all of it
Interesting menu. Food was well-prepared and beautifully plated. Service was very attentive. A good experience overall. Noise level was sometimes excessive.
Great Spot, Great ambiance. A little on the noisy side but not horrible. Very nice outdoor seating. They serve rustic Italian food that is simply prepared and delicuious! Excellent wine menu!
Always a great experience. Excellent food and excellent service.
Enjoyed a great dinner with friends on the patio
Food was amazing and service was very good.
COVID protocols on the patio were top notch.
They accommodated two separate kinds of complex medical dietary limitations without even blinking.
The food and service also amazing.
I had a red sangria and hubby had a beer for starters. We shared a casa salad and I had mezzanine otero which has chicken, penne pasta, & sundried tomatoes in a tomato cream sauce, it was good. Hubby had the Frutti Di Mare which he usually gets & likes. It has several kinds of seafood and pasta in a tomato sauce. We had enough leftover for lunch the next day.
We were seated in the outdoor patio which is nice when the weather is good as it was that day. Tables are spaced out at a good distance. Wait staff was good, it just took a little longer as there was just one waitress for the whole patio.
Our server Brian did a out standing job with a party of 7.
Decent place to eat. Never had a bad meal there. Staff is generally friendly.
great experience! server was amazing and attentive
first time visiting - will go back. great space - very good food
One of my favorite restaurants in the area, please don't change.
Food was excellent as always! Calamari, burratta, penne vodka, bistecca. Our guests loved their veal osso buco special and bolognese. Service was excellent and quick, drinks were delicious.
I had the lobster ravioli. It was excellent
Family date night. The kids loved their meal and the waitstaff was super friendly
Food was good but some of the entrees were a little expensive and the desserts were tiny.
Birthday celebration with family! Great food and service!
Easter dinner was very nice at Pasta Pane. Our server Brian is outstanding. This restaurant is a Clifton Park gem and one of my favorites.
Lobster ravioli was scrumptious. Chicken parm was pretty dry. Pinot noir was very good. Lemonade was very good. Waiter was flat and did not check if we needed anything. Atmosphere was normal.
we really enjoyed our dinner and drinks the food and service was excellent, the only drawback that I have was that I would have appreciated more of your fantastic bread and butter. We will definitely by coming back.
Exterior of the restaurant considered typical American comfort style yet interior is totally unexpected with rustic feel. Crowded on a friday evening especially full house at the bar counter. Do note that the happy hour is only applicable at the bar counter and first-come, first basis. Was given free bread to start off. A fisherman's stew ($15) and fried calamari ($15) and their special entree - Filet mignon which turn out average yet pricey ($38). Overall I would recommend and I would return.
Always good food, staff very friendly. Only thing that was not good was the partition that was set up between us and the tables next to us. The partition was so close to our table that waitress had to stand right next to each of us to take our order. I know people are freaked about Covid, but these partitions were completely useless. Overall good experience other than that!
