Welcome to Pasta Pasta in the historic water town of Port Jefferson. Since 1991 Pasta Pasta has become one of the premier restaurants on the North Shore. More than just PASTA; they offer a diverse menu featuring chicken, steak the freshest fish available and of course our innovative pastas and pizza. Decorated in the casual and comfortable style of a Tuscan villa, the dining rooms boast light wood accents, vases filled with fresh flowers, candle-lit tables, antique mirrors, framed art prints and gracefully draped curtains.
The food was excellent as well as the service. We had a reservation at 8pm and got there at 7. They were able to seat us right away.
One our favorite restaurants! So love Pasta Pasta!
We enjoyed pizza!!!! My girl friend, who is vegan, had the cauliflower crusted pie with Greek salad and eggplant, minus the cheese. I loved my seafood pizza, so tasty and delicious! Always a wonderful experience at Pasta Pasta!!!!
My only disappointment was the wine list was quite expensive and they did not offer, for sale, a house bottle of either Red or White. Most restaurants offer a house Red or White wine rather than by the glass. They should consider this option for their customers.
This has been the second time going. Was not disappointed in anyway. Food and service on the money. Would definitely recommend reservations.
I have been going to pasta pasta for years. I always found their food to be innovative, delicious, and plentiful. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Anthony is a great server. Would go back very soon
Such a great time! Great food and our server was the best!!
Amazing as usual! It’s always on our list of restaurants whenever we are in Port Jeff.
Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was pretty good, service was very slow & server was not attentive. We went on a Sunday night. We ordered the scallop appetizer for dinner, but the server got confused & brought me the scallop app. Chicken dish was not impressive..
Overall experience was ok, not overly impressed, however we did like the woman who exchanged the chicken dish..not sure if she was the owner or manager..she was great!! Friendly & what I expected a server to be like.
Always delicious, service is always outstanding, we love Pasta Pasta!
We LOVE Pasta Pasta! Been there multiple times and have never been disappointed. Everything is good!
Outstanding meal, amazing service!
This is one of our favorite restaurants and we drive over 20 minutes to get there. The food and service are outstanding! Our favorite server of all time is Anthony, who has become like family.
The food was delicious and was brought out to us in a timely manner. The servers were very nice.
We enjoyed our pre-Valentine’s Day dinner.
Was our folk’s birthday, 80th & 90th. It was restaurant week and we chose from their special menu, which was limited but included 3 courses and nicely varied. Everyone enjoyed their choices with the exception of the veal Milanese as the veal was so thinly sliced that all one tasted was the breading. The Asian calamari appetizer was excellent as were the mussels, including 2 other appetizers. Also, the baked fish entree was excellent (I chose the monkfish) and was delicious. I would definitely have that again. My sisters both had the shrimp, mussels and chorizo in a pesto cream sauce over linguini and they enjoyed it. All in all, we had a great time and the staff was friendly and professional.
I have been there quite a few times in the last few months and have always been pleased!!
Very friendly service. Thefood was awesome . Definitely will go back
My husband and I had a most enjoyable dinner at Pasta Pasta during Long Island Restaurant Week. I had the yummy salmon over eggplant and other veggies as well as cannelloni beans . My husband had veal Milannaise. He thought it was delicious. We shared our appetizers: I had fried calamari drizzled with General Tcho sauce and wasabi. I thought the desserts were okay but not great! I had ice cream pops covered in coconut... too much coconut in my opinion. My husband enjoyed his vanilla mousse with fresh whipped cream. All in all it was a wonderful dinner experience, with great service and great ambiance!
The wait time exceeded 1/2 hour. Probably because it was restaurant week. We had fried cauliflower and mussel apps. Both were good. I had a veal caprese, which was satisfying. My daughter had chicken with fried gnocchi. The dish was well cooked, but she wasn’t that fond of the wine sauce on the gnocchi. She would have preferred a tomato or vodka sauce.
Very good food, but only beer and wine.
The food is always excellent here, and fairly priced. Would highly recommend!
entres are made with too much sauce for my liking. i ordered mussels, shrimp, sausage over linguini and the sauce was just too much...for me it takes away from the dish
Went to Pasta Pasta for restaurant week. We have been going for over 20 years!! Never ever had a bad time. Great service and food. The best bread I ever had!!
Delicious food with terrific service. We visited for restaurant week and choices were very good. Anthony was terrific as usual.
Went for restraunt week and the food was delicious , service was a little slow
My husband loves a chicken alfredo dish that has been off the menu for years. They always make it for him and he is always happy with his dish.
We were given a gift certificate and went during restaurant week. The special menu was varied. My meal was delicious from start to finish and so was my husband’s. We were not rushed and there was time given in between courses. Had a really lovely evening.
Great dinner with the entire family! We always love the food and atmosphere. Great service tonight.
I hadn't been here in several years, but it was as if no time had passed. Remains a quaint restaurant with amazing food and service.
We always enjoy Pasta Pasta, and always make a reservation. This particular Sunday when we arrived there was not much of a table selection, and we were told the theater let out so the tables filled up quickly. Yes, we had come from the theater and that is why we made a reservation, in order to have a table available. We did ask to wait until a booth was available but were told there were no checks on the tables yet. Then we were offered a very small table in the back by the kitchen - we have sat there before and it is not a comfortable fit for us. We finally were given a table in the first room in the back.
As is the norm the food was delicious, the only thing I would like to say is my appetizer was cool not even really warm. Very unusual for Pasta Pasta.
I really hate to give any negative comments but I think these items should be addressed, when we make a reservation we expect a table that's the idea of the reservation.
Otherwise, we still love Pasta Pasta, we have been coming for years and always enjoy the food and the service.
Pasta Pasta never disappoints.
Pasta Pasta has always been one of my favorite restaurants but now that Debbie is the owner she has made something great even better! I don't know how she does it but the food tastes better, the ambiance is a little nicer and my overall experience is just FABULOUS!
Love this place. Owner, Manager - Anthony and staff are awesome and the food is amazing!
Always a great experience! Food and service were outstanding!
We have loved this restaurant for many years. It’s our “go to” for many special occasions. My husbands office is in town so it’s also a great impromptu lunch date place. This past dining experience was a disappointment. I ordered the dinner special and was given a different “regular “ menu dinner. I felt terrible complaining about it, but I was so looking forward to our New Years dinner experience. Our waitress was very accom
The food was well prepared. This staff were attentive and accommodating.
Only negative is:
On a Monday nite; we have reservations; I get there first( all are definitely coming; the restaurant is not crowded; it is pouring out and freezing/ -and I would like to be seated to warm up, get some bread (had no lunch) and maybe some wine.
Sorry “house rules” are only whole parties are seated.
Sorry but customer service needs to be worked on.
I was going to book a party of 12 next month for my staff but this turned me off completely. Many restaurants are able to accommodate people with kindness and courtesy from the moment of arrival without blind adherence to “the rules.”
I am so sorry about your experience and agree that that evening you could have been seated. It is very hard to explain the reasoning for seating complete parties but it mostly is for the weekends. We do pride ourselves on customer service and sorry that we fell short that evening. I promise to speak with my hostess and hope that you will give us another chance.
Very rushed and uncomfortable experience with the service after they allowed us to make a reservation 5 minutes before the kitchen closed.
I am so embarrassed by your experience. My staff knows how I feel and I do not want anyone to feel rushed. It was unacceptable that they made you feel that way. Please call me at the restaurant. (631) 331-5335. Debbie
