Our waitress was exceptional. Kind , patient, and thoughtful. I took my friend out for dinner for her birthday but she's a recent diabetic. Our waitress brought a plate that said happy birthday with two truffles. I didn't ask her to do it. A wonderful young lady. I'll definitely be back.
Patria is an amazing Spanish tapas restaurant in downtown Toronto. Every single dish that we ordered was incredible. They also have a fantastic selection of wine available, and the service was also on point. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Toronto. I highly recommend that you try it out if you haven't been yet or if you're visiting.
Such a beautiful restaurant. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and our servers were all incredibly knowledgeable.
Fantastic food. Tasty, good portions. A tad on the pricy side for the portion size. Excellent flavor and presentation and excellent service. Music was too loud.
Food was delicious and they had a great wine menu. Was pricey but worth the money for the delicious food. Had the Jamon croquets, manchego, and seafood paella. All was fantastic. Paella takes 45 mins to 1 hour to prepare though so time your meal accordingly with tapas.
Dinner was great and really liked the atmosphere. The dishes that were our favorites were dates wrapped with bacon, shrimp, stuffed peppers, cheese with truffle good too. Chocolate mouse dessert was excellent. The chicken paella was good, but sad to say was not our favorite despite it was highly recommended to us from friends. Would go back for sure.
Service was excellent, a bit of a jog from Royal Alex but with a Mirvish subscriber discount, iit was worth it. Loved the Paella, Will be back net time I have theatre reservations.
Great food but very noisy - seems to be the way of toronto restaurants these days. Nothing a few ceiling baffles wouldn't cure.
SO tasty, but very loud! There was some sort of party on the top floor that kept "woo woo!"-ing...glad they were having fun, but not pleasant for the rest of us.
Service was a bit slow at times, but they were packed and it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. I'd definitely go back or recommend to a friend!
Seemed to be some kind of bachelorette or something going on, which was very, very noisy.
Food & drink were good as usual. Service was great, she was very attentive and very conscious of when to check on us vs. when to leave us alone (business dinner so much appreciated).
Ribeye was by far one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Medium rare is the way to go
Fun birthday celebration 🎉
Lovely meal. Did not disappoint
Really enjoyed sitting outside under heat lamps. All items we ordered were original and delicious, appetizers and mains. Also pleased to see that Patria offers coravin selections, we were able to have a glass of a lovely bottle of wine. Just a lovely brunch, thank you. We will have to go back for dinner.
Outstanding attentive service, beautifully presented dishes
Great service great food and great energy definitely enjoyed our evening with our friends
Food was fantastic and our server Nathan was excellent. Had a great dinner!!
Food tasted good but a bit pricy...left hungry so value not so good
Amazing food! Always a great time! Highly recommend.
We were traveling from Phoenix and were treated with such care. Our waitress went over and beyond as well as the manager stopping by to speak with us. Amazing service, food and ambiance.
It was a delicious meal but the club thumping music made it impossible to have an adult conversation over dinner without yelling. The food was delicious but as most restaurants in King Street in Toronto it was over priced for what you actually get. It was extremely difficult to hear our waiter and we really expected it to be more dinner restaurant than club. I would say this restaurant is not for those who want to enjoy good conversation with higher end meals. It was more of a club hangout place to snack while you drink just with sit down tables instead of a dance floor.
Great food, lovely staff, and a wonderful evening.
Great place to celebrate. Fabulous food, fabulous room. We get to Patria every time we're in Toronto. A must for any Spanish food and wine hound.
We went for our anniversary and the place was perfect! Great small places. Great design and not too loud. Our server was extremely helpful with our allergies. I would definitely go back!
Love the ambience. Food and service were outstanding. Big problem with the HVAC though so was very uncomfortably hot.
Whoever the bigger red-headed gentleman waiter was, he's great. Knowledgable, easy to talk to, great service, great recommendations. Chill guy.
Second visit to Patria and it’s always so so delicious...perfection!
The tapas were great. Potato’s Bravas were soggy and egg not hot. Portion on Jamon was far too small for 30$ - literally five thin slices, 6$ for each quarter of a fork full. Asparagus was over cooked and felt mushy, didn’t think red pepper paste matched the flavour, but that’s just my taste. Steak was 75$, small maybe 14oz for price, was chewy and cut was bad that we cut around 40% of the rib eye - really bad piece of meat. Too bad. Our meal was 350$ and we felt like it should’ve been 150.
Very good tapas - I've been to Spain many times and my only thought about the food at Patria was some of the dishes could have been simpler like you get in Spain.
But we had great food, wonderful wine - would go back again.
Service was great. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable and friendly. Had great recommendations. Since it’s tapas you’ll have to order a good number of dishes if you’re used to eating larger amounts and it can get pricey.
The restaurant's ambiance and service is very good. Its great that most of the menu is shareable but i think its more for 2 people not for 3. The food is great.. maybe next time we would try the paella.
Our Server was the best, she truly this dinner spectacular
Great food and really great attentive service. Especially helping us pick out a lower cost wine that fit the tastes we described. It was my mom's first time there and she absolutely loved it.
I had lunch on Sunday September 8 with my best friend for her birthday, and it was a beautiful experience! The patatas bravas is a must-try. The desserts were delicate and had multi-level flavours ...SPLENDID EXPERIENCE!!!
It’s been 2yrs since I’ve dined at Patria and I brought a girlfriend there for dinner after our tiff movie. Reservation was set for 8:30pm and I received a call confirming my reservation earlier in the day. Great follow up with the reservation so expect a call with your reservation. We were offered the option to dine inside the main dining area or outside and chose outside which had the advantage of being cooler and less noisy. I found the main dining area to be too warm, stuffy and very noisy. However, the lighting was dim creating a warm and cozy feeling. Outside lighting was brighter but still cozy and the noise level was way better for conversation without feeling like you would be speaking too loud just to be heard.
Service was okay considering it was a busy night but recalling my previous dining experiences at Patria it started off as mediocre. Our waitress didn’t go over the menu or offer to explain the features of the day. Refilling our water and clearing our plates was consistent and as the night progressed service got better.
The one dish we enjoyed the most was the gulf shrimp from the features of the day. It was set in a garlicky, lemon and pesto sauce which was great for dipping with bread. The shrimp had a nice springiness but the sauce was the winner. We had 7 dishes in total and the shrimp was the winner for the evening. Next was the mushroom croquettes which we enjoyed but wasn’t a knockout. Order it if you like a creamy soft texture ...think risotto with a fried crispy thin skin. The cauliflower dish was new to me and was a disappointment. Think roasted cauliflower setting on top of a very thick creamy sauce. The cauliflower was cooked well but the Marcona almond sauce was definitely not our favourite. The previous menu cauliflower dish was way better. We’d try the asparagus dish next time. Overall it was good but not stellar. It just wasn’t how I remembered it dining there several times with my husband two years ago. Great to try for sure.
Memorable and delicious experience at Patria! Small plates, one better than the next!
I decided to make a reservation for me and my wife. This place was perfect being that it was our last night in Toronto. The ambience, the food, the service was amazing. I will definitely be back to this restaurant if ever in Canada again. I loved it.
Great service and delicious food. The vegetable paella, fried goat cheese and brussel sprouts were some of our favorites
I would highly recommend Patria! The food and ambience were exquisite! I’ll definitely be dining there again and again!
Great food...love the ambience...it was our 2nd time there. We'll definitely go again !
