Everything about Peace and Loaf pleases. The food is great- original and thoughtful and there’s always at least one surprise. The complementary canapés and amuse bouche make a lovely bonus. The wine prices are very reasonable. I recommend the dessert sharing plate. I can’t wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was totally delicous. Could highly recommend the scallop starter...Staff are friendly without being intrusive. The Sauvignon Blanc was the best glass of wine I have enjoyed in some time..Would very much recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Will be going back soon. l

Excellent, interesting menu with unusual combination of ingredients. As expected, it was not busy at lunchtime on a Tuesday in mid January, but the service was excellent from the young stall. Hit the right balance of friendly and attentive. The bill was very good value for money and I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Found this restaurant in the first year it opened. Spectacular food, Dave and his team never disappoint, innovative creative cuisine. Brilliant customer service on every occasion. Enjoyed a fantastic New Year Menu for the second time. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough for any occasion.

The best restaurant in Newcastle, we have never been disappointed with our meal. We also have taken large parties for a la carte dining and been very impressed with the extremely slick but friendly service.

The food here was amazing the menu choices were great and really tasty. I often find the atmosphere in certain upscale restaurants to be fairly stuffy, but the staff With their service really made it even better!
I have recommended this restaurant to so many people already.
Will certainly be back!

Great food and service in quaint Jesmond just outside of Newcastle. Well wort the drive. Especially the canapes and amuse bouche offered such a nice variety of flavours and textures. Main courses also great, my salmon seaweed risotto was perfect. Attentive staff. The interior deisgn is somewhat modern-eclectic and may not be to everyone’s taste, but I liked it and given that this is a trendy hot spot not unexpected. Reasonable prices.

This was my 3rd visit to Peace & Loaf and it just keeps getting better and better.

What Dave and the team can do with food is unbelievable. It’s like being in your very own episode of Masterchef.

The atmosphere is fantastic , the food amazing , the service exquisite and real value for money.

It’s not a cheap night out compared to many restaurants I’ve been to but for me this is one of the top restaurants in the North East and rivals any Michelin Star ranked Restaurant you can name. Including some big name chefs.

Miss it and Miss Out

Outstanding culinary experiences served up seasonally, day after day that are a true adventure and indulgence for the senses.
The food is second to none, even in comparison to everywhere else I have eaten in the world.
The Sunday Dinner is the best going and The Christmas Dinner is right up there with it, perhaps even edging it overall.
The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming and they endeavour to cater towards your individual needs and requirements. The music and ambiance are always excellent.
The restaurant offers exceptional value for money considering the love, passion, effort, commitment and attention to detail that goes into both the dishes and overall dinning experience here.
In summary Peace and Loaf create beautiful experiences for the benefit of others through the intention of Love and Peace. I think there's an important lesson here that humanity as a whole would do well to observe, learn and implement. Just so the message of love isn't lost in translation it's dipicted in the restaurant logo as a red heart. Amazing place and amazing people!

Fabulous. The food was glorious and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive and considerate as one of our party was 45 minutes late. Loved all the amuse bouche - an “Oreo cookie” transported me to Japan in one mouthful. Can’t wait to visit again.

Usually prefer not to have the Sunday lunch menu but this proved to be rather different and very good.

Be interested to try their a la carte menu too.

Wines by the glass were well priced and interesting.
