Wonderful Easter Saturday lunch. Food was excellent although maybe slightly expensive. Service was very good but inconsistent, people on table next to ours had same meal but received steak knives and their table was cleaned down between courses. But I am being ‘picky’ the extras were wonderful and meant we only needed a main course. I would recommend to others.

Great food, attentive and helpful staff....an excellent restaurant which is value for money. The a la carte menu which we had uses quality ingredients, cooked to perfection...

Everything was really lovely: staff, atmosphere and amazing delicate flavoured food with fun twists that put a smile to the face! Also enjoyed the canapés between our chosen courses.

Four of us had lunch here on 17.4.19 and loved it. The ambience is relaxed, service informative and attentive without dominating. But the food is fabulous, and they seem to pack so much taste into everything they serve. For us it’s a treat lunch, but it would lovely to be able to afford to eat here more often. Such an enjoyable experience.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Everything was served in great time, appetisers between meals and the meals themselves! As for the food I’ve genuinely never had a meal as good as I had at peace and loaf, and my partner agrees. The best part must have been the Nathan blue dessert! Blew my mind at how the flavours worked together and the incredible cheese! Will definitely be coming back to dine again!

Wonderful! This was for my husband’s birthday so it meant a lot to me and I wasn’t disappointed.
Wonderful food, very attentive staff, lots of surprises thrown in between courses and we’re going to book a taster menu, we were so impressed.
Highly recommended.

We received a gift voucher to eat at Peace and Loaf. From the time we arrived the service was excellent. Staff are friendly and very efficient. The food was first class, prepared freshly and in a reasonable time.
We particularly enjoyed the desserts.

First time visit. Lunchtime. Pleasant welcome and explanation of the menu. Enjoyed the food and the nibbles between courses. Only issue was the salt & pepper vegetables....expecting a mixture but only parsnip? Possibly our problem for not asking.
Overall very good experience.

This will have been our second visit, and it didn't disappoint. The service is excellent with knowledgeable staff who know about dietary requirements, and excellent chefs who can accommodate with ease.
All courses were brought without long waits in between with little in-between courses to, which were delicious, particularly the little loaves and marmite butter!
Dessert was outstanding and I'm confident we'll be back again at some point. Many thanks to the team!

Nice ambience, with a few kitschy touches, which, however, make it informal and easy-going. The waiter was a young guy, very polite and genuinely nice. We went for the fixed menu, to try out a first time, and the experience has been absolutely delightful. Impressivley balanced cured raimbow trout: tarragon and citrus fruits gave the perfect acidity to it. The butteroasted Savoy was absolutely great, one of the best dishes I've had this year: rich, but still very fresh, thanks to the samphire that added a savoury and marine note to it. Spot on also the dessert, which reminded us a bit of Sicilian flavours.

Definitely recommended.

Tasting menu was a great opportunity to eat “the unusual” that we wouldn’t normally order or eat. All of the food including the extras was superbly tasty and cooked and presented perfectly.

Attention, attitude and professionalism from all the staff was exact and combined with the food to provide a great celebratory night.

Myself and my boyfriend had a fabulous night on Friday. We had decided to go with the prix fixe menu and we are so glad that we did. Much to our surprise it was not just the 3 courses, it turned out to be 5! With delicious appetizers and intermediary courses, all fantastic.
Service was attentive and quick, but left a gap between the main course and dessert, I was pleased as I was starting to feel quite full.
A lovely evening.
We will definitely back.
