Another excellent lunch at peace and loaf. Top quality and at a very reasonable price, not the first time we have sampled their hospitality and won't be the last. Highly recommended.

Lunch prix fixe always super value and amazing food. Service was very warm and accommodating, however I think they were slightly stretched for staff, so service was a little slow. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning.

This was our fifth visit to Peace & Loaf, and as ever the standard was excellent. The main courses were perfectly cooked, and the chef's amuse-bouches intriguing and flavourful. Service is informative and friendly without being over-familiar. We have never yet had a disappointing dish at Peace & Loaf, and fully expect to enjoy further pleasurable meals there.

Staff extremely helpful and accommodating. The menu wasn't extensive but there was something for everyone. The food was delicious and the amuse bouche were a lovely surprise and almost stole the show. Enjoyed it very much & will be back!

We've been many fine dining establishments and Peace & Loaf is way up there with the best. Why they do not have a Michelin star is a mystery.

This was a real 'dining experience'. Amazing food, really different, but not in a daft, pretentious way-just in a delicious way. We love the amuse bouche between courses. We lingered over this wonderful food and felt no under pressure to hurry along. Great for veggies and meat eaters alike. Lovely cocktails too. Would highly recommend

Always warm welcome, fabulous food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Menu is varied and interesting with a fusion of flavours served little and often teasing the palate for the next course - love it!!

The range of food and the thought and time that goes in to the preparation is brilliant. The "extra bits" are so interesting. It is an experience of food, and the value for money is outstanding. I recommend it to everyone who enjoys lovely food.

The meal selection was excellent and well balanced and the wine list complimented very well. A little expensive in areas but a good selection of wines. The small courses given between to taste were excellent with great complimentary tastes. We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely go back to try the taster menu

Me and my partner went to Peace and Loaf on 20/2/19 for an anniversary meal, and we had the tasting menu. From the moment we walked in to when we left, the staff could not have done more for us and were very friendly. As for the food, every course was absolutely amazing, the tasting course is a ten course meal and we were also treated to two extra courses which were also delicious. I can not rate this place and the food highly enough and will definitely be coming back to try the a la carte menu. You have to eat here!

We have been a number of times for Special Ocasions and once again were very impressed with the service and of course the excellent and well presented food.
The Early Evening 3 Course fine dining menu at £30 pp is excellent value.

Myself and my Wife have loved Peace and Loaf for a number of years. The only difficulty it could have is living up to it’s own exceptional standards, yet it always does.
This time in particular was also the best yet, with undoubtedly the best Sticky Toffee Pudding we’ve ever had. Keep up the amazing work and thank you.

Peace and Loaf is not somewhere I, frankly, could afford to eat very often. It's for special occasions only for me. I had wanted to come for a while and it did not disappoint. For me, hands down the best restaurant in the NE. The food was extraordinary. And your (young) staff were a credit as well. Great ambience. Beautifully set up. A fantastic experience. We loved it, thank you very much.
