We had been recommended the restaurant by our hotel, as was within a five walk of the hotel. Friendly greeting on arrival and seated at a table away from the noise of the bar. Was a Friday night, so busy and energetic. A varied menu with pleasing portion sizes, attentive servers and an all round enjoyable evening. Would go again when in the area.
A crisp, sharp looking exterior precedes a grand, open interior on first entrance. The space has been thoughtfully put together and is bright and airy. The staff were pleasant, helpful and smiley and the food was good. A little on the pricey side at £16 for a beef burger and chips, for example. However, this is central London! A few more choices of wines by the glass/carafe would be nice. All in all a pleasant lunch was had.
Lovely spot in Fitrovia. Very quiet, excellent service and fast. Good brunch selection at a reasonable price. Bottomless option for £18 that we didn’t take up. Very smart and modern. If it was a bit busier there would have been more atmosphere.
We had a wonderful family meal, the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and spacious. The menu catered for all the family’s differing tastes and dietary requirements. We look forward to returning.
Great ambiance and service. Love the Sunday 5pm deal!
Delicious Sunday roast in a lovely quiet nook of Fitzrovia. Five stars!
Excellent service, food is excellent and the place has a nice atmosphere. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Good for business lunches or after work drinks with colleagues.
Very pleasant second experience. The food is good, staff is attentive and nice. The room is spacious and it is easy to have a conversation (no loud music, etc.).
A lovely central location for brunch. Terrace was great on a sunny day but inside also stunning. I just thought that the brunch portions could have been a little bigger but everything was very high quality
The second time we have visited and not as good as the first, but still a decent - if slightly pricey - meal in pleasant surroundings.
Clean fresh food
Outside table with great relaxing atmosphere
A get together with friends who trained at the Middlesex and it was nice to have a connection. Fair priced food. Attentive service. A very enjoyable few hours. Thank you
Great for bottomless brunch!
Would definitely recommend for lunch, dinner or any large get together, lovely ambiance and located in a nice quiet part of London.
Friendly staff and nice, uneventful food. Perfect for a low key business lunch.
Es súper recomendable! Nos encantó el lugar muy bien decorado muy buen gusto la comida y atención es excelente
I went this restaurant with a few friends. The atmosphere was surprisingly nice. Very spacious and stylish! The food was beautiful too. We all enjoyed the service as well. Highly recommended.
Four of us went for weekend breakfast. Huge, smart,, “corporate”-look to this new-build in Fitzrovia. Excellent service. Food was much better than I thought from my first impression of this huge restaurant. We all thought the quality and price was good. Will go again. Would be good if they added cafetière to the coffee list.
Great informal but smart breakfast venue - food was exactly of the right standard and the service friendly and unintrusive
Went for lunch it was a little quiet but no matter. Service was good and the salads very wholesome. The price seemed a little high for a couple of salads and no alcohol but it was a nice lunch and I would go back.
Friendly service. Nice food but nothing amazing. Perfect for what I wanted, which was to take overseas visitors to a fine gastro pub.
very nice place, spacious, good food, nice atmosphere and nice service
Large group for Sunday lunch. Food notably good, we had the various Sunday roasts. Priced toward the higher end of the middle, with some drinking both cocktails and wine, and some teetotallers the bill was around £650 for twelve people. Which felt like reasonable value.
Great Sunday brunch and excellent service! Very accommodating even with less people than originally booked for
Sat outside for Sunday brunch on a warm and sunny day. Full English, coffee and prosecco. Perfect.
This was a last minute family outing and the venue and food made it a very happy occasion.
Unresponsive, dismissive staff who were 1) unwilling to seat us outside even though there was an unreserved, clear table and then 2) took about 30 minutes to come and actually take our order.
Had a fabulous evening. The team were very accommodating with last minute changes to numbers. Food was excellent as was the service. Thank you.
Restaurant and bar buzzing - perfect for a get together with a group of friends. A bit pricey, but a good evening overall, and staff are very helpful and friendly
Went with colleagues and we all found it a perfect mix of good food and great atmosphere.
We went to Percy and Founders for Easter Sunday lunch/brunch/roast and it was outstanding.
Our table for 2 looked directly into the beautiful Fitzrovia Chapel next door. The wait staff were
exceedingly polite and efficient and the food was quite good and well presented. The only caution to consider is that the Sunday "roast" is enormous. Truthfully, one order of the roast chicken would have been plenty for two.
With appetizers and a pudding, you could be over-faced. Or, plan to spend the afternoon and simply indulge yourself.
We went Saturday afternoon for lunch. It’s a shame because I’ve been before on a Friday lunch time and it’s been great. But clearly Saturday is not a busy day for them. The restaurant didn’t have any atmosphere at all. Which isn’t their fault. However, they clearly didn’t prioritise their best staff for this day either because the service was not good at all and really let down our experience. Different waiters would keep coming up to us asking if we were ready to order which made us feel rushed. And yet when we ordered our food and drinks it would take an incredibly long time to get what we ordered. We had to ask where our drinks were after every time we ordered and twice I had to actually get up and go and ask at the bar. The worst was waiting 15 minutes for three glasses of wine. They also left our finished plates of food and empty glasses on the table for a long time. This was a special occasion for my mum and I was quite upset that we didn’t get the level of service that you would expect for the prices we paid.
Lovely family lunch. Great location, great food and lovely ambience - would return.
This was my 3rd time at this bar/restaurant however the service on this occasion was very poor. We had to ask multiple times for our drinks with long waiting times. Our bill at the end was also incorrect where we were over charged by nearly £40. I would recommend this venue if the service was better.
Excellent food and great service. perfect for a celebration.
Everything was OK .i.e friendly efficient service both on arrival and order placing etc. My starter was good .Crispy Squid( i think) ??
However had the Veal chop for main course which was pretty much inedible . Basically comprised of bone with fat and the very little meat there was ,was seriously over cooked.
Had i not been hosting the lunch with a client it would most certainly have been returned with comments !!!
Had your chef being paying attention to what he/she was preparing or caring about what was being served, it would/should never have left the kitchen !!!
The Sunday roast was really quite nice and I liked the extras as well. The overall service level was practically zero though - our waiter was uninterested, rather uninformed in terms of the menu options, and we could not get our orders in for a good half an hour. There really weren’t that many busy tables either on a Sunday evening, so I doubt that the staff was particularly stretched. There is quite a bit of room for improvement here. This is basically my home restaurant and the experience has been pretty much the same since it opened.
First visit, excellent lunch, service and ambiance. We all really enjoyed our meal.
Consistently good food and never too busy.
The "all day menu" isn't available all day.
Had to order and chase drinks multiple times.
They had a staff meeting on a table near us after we sat down, we had to wait quite a while to order because the staff were pre-occupied with their meeting
Have eaten here many times and find it very hit and miss, when it's good it's great, but when it's bad it's very frustrating.
