About Petersham Nurseries Cafe
Petersham Nurseries is a lifestyle destination that includes a plant nursery, an elegant glasshouse restaurant with an a la carte menu, a shop selling exquisite antiques, homewares and gifts and a teahouse offering wholesome seasonal dishes and homemade cakes.
It is a place of calm, away from the bustle of London, that respects and is in tune with nature and positive living.
The Boglione family, who own the nurseries and live in the adjoining Petersham House are rooted to their blend of British and Italian culture which remains at the heart of the business and is reflected in the style of the food that is served. Petersham Nurseries Café is inspired by what is growing in our kitchen garden and by the produce supplied to us by our sister company, Haye Farm.
Whilst maintaining their passion for simplicity, flora, fauna and responsibly sourced produce they have created an unparalleled setting just outside of central London.

Petersham Nurseries Cafe Ratings and Reviews
We have been to Petersham a few times when Sky was head chef. Unfortunately, we have not been back for a while. We were still impress with the service, food and our waiter. He was more than excellent. He knew how the dishes were prepared and while he was attentive, he did not make excessive fuss. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and our walk home.
I would add, the voucher we receive as a gift did not extend to more than a year. The person I spoke to when I tried to extend the expiry date would not expend it to more than a month. It would be helpful if Petersham could extend their gift voucher to more than a month.
Delicious food in a lovely setting. I took my parents out for lunch and this was perfect as they are keen gardeners! Service was good and they were great at looking after my special dietary needs which meant there were plenty of things I could choose from on the menu.
Everything was brilliant! Not many times can you say that ! The food was delicious and wine.
The staff were wonderful we had 2 grandchildren age 1 and 2 with us they were up and down running around but never was it a problem they made us feel so comfortable.
Can't wait to go again !
The Christmas shop was amazing could have brought it all !
What a wonderful restaurant situated by Richmond Park! The glass house setting is beautiful with a variety of plants dotted around everywhere. I had the tagliatelle with white truffle and parmesan, the portion seemed small but was very filling and scrumptious! Staff were very accomodating and friendly.
I took my Mum and Mother in law as a special treat and we were not disappointed. It's a unique place and a beautiful setting, the food portions are good and justify the prices. We all enjoyed our chosen dishes and the staff were all friendly and attentive. We loved the Oriental decor and being surrounded by living plants and shrubs made it feel special. My Mums loved it and said it was one of the best meals they had ever had.
Lovely smiling and helpful service in the beautiful greenhouse restaurant. Delicious food and helpful explanations of anything we didn't understand. Only downside was that it took a while to get the sommelier to come over to us and when he did he just recommended a very expensive glass of wine, when our menu had been taken away already. But absolutely brilliant meal all in all - would definitely return very happily!
Having been lucky enough to have been before I suggested to friends that we should come for our birthday celebration lunch. Travelling on public transport from Oxford to get there, I hoped that it would live up to my last visit and that my friends wouldn't be disappointed. I needn't have worried! Petershams is a beautiful place with a great ambience. Our meal started with a beautiful Peach Bellini that we decided were the best Bellinis we had ever had! My starter of Zucchini flowers not only looked but tasted fabulous. The crab starter was also delicious. Our mains of roast chicken and Cod were again not only beautifully presented but fabulously tasty. With eyes much bigger than our bellies we opted for the donuts for dessert and we were not disappointed. The chocolate sauce was amazing! Discreet but attentive service and a setting that made us feel like were on holiday meant we had a birthday treat to remember. Thank you Petershams! Well worth the journey.
Even though we live very close to this restaurant we've always battled to get a reservation. Last week we found out why. This is quite the most magnificent restaurant in south west London. Possibly in all of London. Freshly sourced ingredients, beautifully prepared, simply presented in an exquisite garden setting that is impossible to beat. Every plate is worthy of instagram, every mouthful a delight. Really, I urge you to book in advance and to go. You won't be disappointed.
