Pied a terre is an experience. Everything, just works from the welcome by the owner to the care and attention of the staff. The food was a revelation and my party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Yes it is expensive, but you do get what you paid for.

Haven’t been here in a while, and was disappointed by the meal. Teeny tiny portions for the tasting menu (two of the four bites of rabbit in the “main” were offal). The pre-dessert and dessert courses were great, but nothing else was memorable. When we asked the sommelier to help us decide between two bottles he insisted neither was good with the menu (why stock it then?!) and tried to upsell a bottle that cost 50% more. Won’t be returning.

Great food and an interesting tasting menu. The wine was excellent and the sommelier, Kerian, was really knowledgeable and challenged us with a couple. Overall a great experience.

Pied A Terre didn't disappoint. The ratings were somehow unreal and wasn't quite sure if it's all made up or the real deal however I can wholeheartedly say that it was worth every penny. The ambience was quiet with subtle music in the background, the servers were very polite and attentive across the board, the food was exactly as expected and the mille fois was the best we've ever head to date.

A wonderful location close to West End for a special celebratory meal. The round tables are perfect for a party of 6. The taster menu allows the entire table to savour and enjoy a wonderful range of amazing dishes, including delicious bread, pre-starters. The waiters not only serve the food but also adds to the drama by putting finishing touches on dishes before explaining the ingredients. The food was definitely good value for menu. We learnt from the head waiter interesting information about two unique art pieces on display at the restaurant. All in all, it was a memorable magical meal.

The atmosphere in there is lovely and food was flavoursome. Unfortunately we both found an inch long piece of stick or bone in our mouths from one of the dishes. Really poor show especially in this level of establishment, we got a small apology before being stung with a £450 bill. The wine flight portions were tiny at 100ml and worked out at nearly £20 a glass, I would of thought twice if I’d known this, none of that is explained on the menu and not what we are used to when purchasing a wine flight. I found the staff poor, they mumbled through what the dishes were so couldn’t understand what they were saying, its part of the theatre of it and generally seemed very poorly trained. To top it all off the next day I had a very upset stomach. Poor service at times (stick in food, mumbling, no eye contact, staff scruffy) poor value for money, I would not return. Such a shame as I had really been looking forward to it. Not the treat I was expecting.

We got the tasting menu and unfortunately some plates were underwhelming; the ossobucco was not very tasty and the sea urchin did not taste fresh. The starters, service, and wine were good. I would expect some improvements in order to maintain the michelin star, sorry :/

Incredible food as always. The tasting menus are phenomenal and each course is just as strong as the other. The sommelier is a genius - the wine was paired to perfection. Ideal and one of my favourite places for a special occasion

This was hands down the best gastronomic experience I have ever had. The four course regular menu was an absolute journey of flavours and textures and paired a great wine by the sommelier made for a dream like experience. The service was also excellent as they made my partner feel very special on their birthday.

I booked the 10-course tasting menu for my girlfriend's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The food was stunning, very creative and super tasty, from tomato dish, lovely fois gras to great deserts. Staff was attentive and helpful. They also prepared special personalised birthday menu for the occasion and provided discreet and lovely b-day plate with "Happy Birthday" and small candle for my partner. She was really happy to see this. Thanks a lot for this. Thank you all for unforgettable night for both of us. Definitely value for money. We're looking forward to new season and menu change. Just had dinner here and wanted to write a review as food is still in my mouth. Is bad, really bad, like literally everything is full of Agar agar and xanthan gum without seasoning or flavours. Had the sea sardines with a fake gelatine blue which was disgusting, the mackerel wasn't even brined or the skin made crispy, literally a cold fish in a cold fake gel. The foie gras tasted like nothing, just like a normal chicken parfait and the celeriac and apparently truffle layer cake tasted like nothing. Had the quail where the jus was burnt and the whole dish got extremely bitter because of that. The baby beetroot were acidic because they weren't even salted. Had a cheese bit in a feuille de brick, the leaves on top they were not even washed or something and there was dead black leaves. The artichoke tiramisu was awful, at least, had not the smallest connection with tiramisu and a random orange sorbet on top of whipped artichoke super sweet puree. Had a pineapple and hazelnut sort of cake served in plate , but the plate was the other way around and had a really weird texture. The last bits they were bleah.... apparently was an olive oil and vanilla macarons, which was a fake green and tasted just lemoni, that's it. Plus it tasted really old,like definitely they weren't baked this week. Service was bad too, after each course been forced with an "all good with the food" and then had some hai with the first course and hai fell off the plate, didn't even bother to clean the table for the whole evening. It is a general staff shortage in UK, but don't rip me off when offering such good and service

We had the 8 course taster menu and were looking forward to it very much ... well I'm pleased to say it didn't disappoint. All of the courses were fantastic - brilliant tasty food, superbly presented and described by the excellent staff. A superb experience, topped off nicely with the expertly chosen pairing wines. A night to remember!!

This was one of the best dining experiences ever. The service was truly impeccable. We had to push back our reservation an hour, which they did without hesitation, not the usual experience at a high end restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner, a very charming and humble host. We chose the 8 course meal with wine pairing. Two of our party were vegan, but this wasn’t an issue. The courses were creative and delicious. When each course was delivered it was explained. The sommelier was first class and entertaining. All in all a most enjoyable evening.

I took my wife to Pied a Terre for lunch on her birthday. We had a fabulous meal based on their tasting menu. The dishes were incredibly well balanced with some interesting ingredients that really added to the dishes as a whole. The service was superb with the right mix of attentiveness and discretion, so whilst you never felt like anyone was hovering someone was always to hand. I would thoroughly recommend going and trying it for yourself.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - All the things that you would not want to experience you will at this over priced and pretentious restaurant. The food was bland and tasteless, the waitress was condescending and unhelpful and the sommelier was bordering on rude, even though the bottle of white wine was warm! The menu was confusing and when asked for clarification we were made to feel like we were asking a stupid question, customer service out the window. Perfect example of substance over matter!! We were told the menu advertised on open table was incorrect and wasn’t valid....?

Quality ingredients. Exquisitely cooked and presented. The service was good but not quite up to the usual lofty standards: had to refill my water glass myself, and some of the finished course dishes were not promptly removed. Also, worth noting the usual varied selection of freshly baked and still warm breads was not available: just one cold option with olive oil and no butter. The egg and feta cheese canape, and kumquat souffle were the undoubted highlights of the lunch menu.

It was great to return to this reliably excellent restaurant after lockdown. Great tasting menu and accompanying wines. Their sommeliers know their stuff and you can always rely on them to choose interesting and appropriate wines from relatively unknown areas/winemakers. The atmosphere was very relaxed as always, despite impressive adherence to all Covid-security protocols.
