Fabulous restaurant, superb ambience, amazing food and lovely friendly staff. Excellent value if you do not mind eating a little earlier and choosing the set menu. The chef’s certainly know how to cook and the presentation is superb also. Love the place and would highly recommend to all. Well done Perre Victoire, keep up the high standards. 👍😘
We have met and eaten here often and are always impressed with the quality of the food and the very friendly and attentive service. A very good choice for the centre of town.
First time visit to the Soho restaurant had previously been to the Leamington Spa restaurant. It didn’t feel like a chain at all, all six of us were really pleased with our menus choices and the value for money wine list
A lovely dinner
We have been many times in the past when going to the theater. Staff and food always good. Definitely recommend booking in advance as they are always busy.
Food was delicious. I had duck breast with cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes. But the duck could have been hotter. it got cold half way through. Service was slightly inattentive had to ask for various things twice. But it was a very busy Friday night.
Lovely and cosy, well priced, great food and service! Great date night or for a group of friends....
We went to Pierre Victoire for an early dinner before going on to the theatre. The restaurant was conveniently placed and provided an excellent start to the evening.
The ambiance, attention of the staff and the food could not be faulted - and very reasonably priced. Will go there again.
So I have been going to Pierre Victoire for many years and always viewed it as good value for money and good food - which relatively speaking it is compared to other restaurants nearby. But this time the food lacked something. I had moules to start and the sauce did not rally taste of much. The duck confit with cassoulet was quite nice but because of the lardons and Toulouse sausages as well as the confit it was all a bit salty.
They also sting you with a 12.5% service charge so I left less for the bill and I was asked for the additional money. I pointed out that the service charge is optional so they deducted it but they were disgruntled. I particularly object as in the UK we pay service on the gross amount so effectively we pay a service charge on a tax too so generally I leave 10% of the net as 10% on the gross equates to a tip of 12%.
Not sure I'll be going back.
Authentic Traditional French Cooking giving excellent value for money. Although very busy on a Saturday evening the service was just right. The meal started well with the kir royal with the distinctive taste of champagne. I had to go for the chargrilled octopus again. This is simply presented and full of different flavors which you can mob up with freshly baked French bread. There is a good selection of wine by the glass so you can match it with each course. I then had lamb, very tender, perfectly cooked and tarte tatin. My wife who has finely tuned taste buds could not find fault with her duck livers, sea bass, and creme brûlée. We will certainly be back.
Went with 2 friends on a Friday night. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed. The service was very good. I would not recommend the house white wine. It was bitter and vinegary but the Piano Grigio was pleasant. All the food was delicious and portion sizes just right. We paid £50 a head for 3 courses, 2 bottles of wine and service included. Will go again.
This is a very atmospheric restaurant with a genuine bistro feel in the heart of the West End, so very convenient and good value bearing in mind its location.
It was perfect for a Sunday lunch on a very cold wintry day. We particularly liked the quiet ambience, as so many places have loud unwanted music. Having older people in our party meant we could chat comfortably without shouting. We loved the food, the service was good and prompt. Very French decor etc:
The steak was outstanding!
Best steak in London! Great staff.
Authentic-feeling, superb-tasting, reasonably-priced French bistro dining. A new favourite.
Looking for some quality prior to a west end show. This place was perfect, lovely food and fantastic value.
I have been going to PV for many years - the food is always excellent and delicious - staff are friendly and well informed on the menu - so a pleasure to eat there always - long may it continue to thrive
Very good atmospheric restaurant. Good quality fixed price menu and the service was very efficient.
As usual a pleasant dining experience - excellent value for money in central London.
Peccato.
Absolutely mouth watering. Great portion and so flavour some
Without blowing any competitive trumpets, this has to be the best vegetarian choice in London. And then there are the spectacular other main choices as well. Not pretentious, arcane or obscure, just fabulous. Perfect!
Great good and service at very reasonable prices.Very convenient for the Soho Theatre.
Perfect for quick bite before going to theatre. Could also be a nice place to meet up for lunch
Really attentive service, great atmosphere and lovely food, reasonably priced. A little corner of Paris in London. Highly recommended.
Pierre Victoire is always a joy - it’s still the best value in Central London and has never been anything other than fab!
Have eaten at the Pierre Victorie on numerous occasions whilst down in London for the day, usually as a post theatre meal. One of my favourite places to eat as you would not believe you were close to Oxford street. Always busy with a nice vibe. Great choice on the 2 or 3 course set menu at a good price
Very good value for tasty food which is a decent portion size. Great ambience as well. Definitely recommend! Great selection on pre theatre menu!
Great ambiance and amazing food. Helps you believe you are whisked to a small fresh village, being served great food with a very french family - I want to go back time and time again!!
Visited with my wife for a pre theatre meal. A lovely restaurant with good ambience. Staff were attentive and the food was very good. We very much enjoyed our visit and would certainly return.
Good Food, great service....lovely little place!
Great food, good service, nice environment. I've been here many times and will continue to go back.
Food and service very good as usual. Excellent choice for pre or post theatre meal.
Very poor service! Really disappointing
This is the second time we’ve had our New Year’s Eve dinner there and it was really good. The food is delicious with a good choice, good atmosphere and extremely well priced menu considering it’s central London. The staff is very nice and helpful. Lovely experience. We’ll definitely go back during the year and try their foie gras poêlé...:)
Lovely little restaurant, nice food, nice wine list and helpful staff. If you get the option ask for a table upstairs as downstairs is a bit cramp and upstairs looked more cosy/pleasant. My son is vegetarian and he liked the options on offer too.
The service was good and the prices (especially the wine!) are very competitive. Its a nice night out without much of a price tag. However, at some level I do think you get what you pay for. The food was ok but not excellent.
This is a rare find in central London. Pierre Victoire is a charming restaurant with the accent on very good French cuisine. It's a lovely space to bring friends who appreciate good food.
