Pierre Victoire never disappoints. No matter the occasion, I always enjoy the restaurant.
Excellent value for money and service in line with suggested turnaround time. I would happily recommend to anyone.
Found this place a few years ago and since then have visited 2 or 3 times every year when we have visited London, normally early evening or at lunchtime before going to the theatre as the pre theatre and lunch menu offer outstanding value, and there is a very large selection of quality items on the menu. When there you would think you were a million miles away from London, yet oxford street is just round the corner, and the theatre land only a little bit further away.
Really enjoyed dinner with a friend at Pierre Victoire's last Friday. The food is just lovely and very well priced given it's Soho location. Service is quick and friendly. Recommended.
Very good vibe in this restaurant and the food is reasonably priced for Soho. The servers were mostly polite and attentive and happy to explain the menu. There's a good choice on the menu and the set menu offers good value.
This restaurant continues to be outstanding in high quality cooked food, choices of all courses and service and additionally the prices are excellent for the west end. I have returned regularly since I found the restaurant and will continue to do so.
Lovely restaurant - tasty French food, good atmosphere, reasonable prices - especially if you opt for the set menu. Would recommend for an informal business lunch or lunch/dinner with friends.
Unassuming and basic in terms of decor, Pierre Victoria excelled in food and service. The bread was even Frenchly good! We were short of time so had two starters - gravadlax salmon and baked brie, which both proved to be extremely good. I would definitely revisit, although the music was a little loud for a business meeting. Lots of luvvies obviously also enjoy eating here, so plenty of people watching possible.
Excellent restaurant, the food and the service and also the atmosphere and décor. Menu is extremely good and well thought out. Felt I was in France!
Came here with our 3 year old son and we all had steak frites which was excellent. Very reasonable prices. Really friendly staff, cool vibe in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend
As lovely are ever, unpretentious, excellent food, friendly professional staff.
Booked as pre-theatre set menu deal before seeing Bat out of hell at the Dominion. Restaurant is quaint and beautiful inside, friendly welcoming staff, lovely wine and the food was delicious, set pre-theatre menu was great, wide choice for both starter and main, the pulled chicken salad was gorgeous and the Onglet steak litterally melted in the mouth, dare i say... it was better than Gaucho's steak or Hawksmoor! and the price was amazing too.
highly recommend and will 100% be back! a little gem!
Tip: pre theatre menu finishes as 6.30pm!!
Waiter was very friendly and helpful- food was as expected and a nice selection for a prix fixe option. Had a great meal!
This was my first visit and have already made arrangements to return. Loved the restaurant set out, buzz, wine and just fabulous food. Got there for an 8pm booking and we’re more or else seated almost immediately- I had changed timings at the very last minute. Had an amazing birthday meal with my two daughters. Thank you ❤️
Lovely pre-theatre dinner, friendly & professional service with great food & well-priced wine too!
Good food and service but was charged for dinner menu rather than lunch menu a difference of £4. Think this was genuine mistake as the restaurant was very busy. Liked that a carafe of water was brought when we asked and refilledithout prompting
We have been going to Pierre Victoire for years - and it never disappoints. On this occasion we arrived 30 minutes late because of travel disruption at Waterloo - but our friends (who had never been there before) were not hassled at all. As ever, we had a lovely meal, and great beer/wine - and fantastic service.
We really enjoyed our meal. Excellent prompt service. A small point - I would have liked the broccoli to be more tender. It was too hard to cut. It was returned to the kitchen and a little bit better on return. Overall, a good meal with very good service. Great location.
Excellent value, tasty food and great service. Lovely ambience. What not to like?
very good pre theatre meal - quick service, good food and friendly staff
A good and reasonably priced restaurant in the heart of Soho well worth a go if you're about. Service was excellent.
I've been here a few times now and the food is always delicious and excellent value.
The place is nice, we had a wonderful family time. It was not easy to find the place. Great food and very kind staff.
Lovely place for dinner and the waitresses were all lovely. The only downside was, who we assume was the manager/maitre d, was clearly stressed and making it very obvious and making us feel slightly uneasy. The waitresses and the rest of the staff however were very calm and were working well. As it is a small restaurant it was unfortunately very noticeable. Other than that- fish very well cooked and octopus for starters was very tasty. Also been here for lunch and would go back again!
Fantastic food excellent service a real find
we will certainly visit again when we are in London
Delightful and eternally busy restaurant just south of Oxford Street. Food is Cafe Rouge style on steroids.
Fast service and my duck main course was superb. They do a good pre-theatre menu until 18.30
Food was really lovely, service was great. Portions were generous and prices are extremely good, especially for central London. I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys French food but even if you don't there are still a few choices, I had the steak and fries and it was perfectly cooked and great quality.
My only negative is the ambience, online it was recommended as a romantic restaurant and the candle light and music would make it so but the noise level of chatting ruined that. I know loud customers are not the restaurants fault, I feel if the tables weren't so close together it would help but as the place was packed I can't blame them for having as many tables as they did!.
Really great experience. We went for the pre theatre menu and the staff - especially Yasin - were very attentive and made sure we were served in time. The food was delicious and served in generous proportions. I recommend it highly.
A little bistro for n the heart of Soho. The look the feel and the menu will remind you of a French Bistro. Compact space but we did not feel cramped. The service was great as was the food. Price was very reasonable. Will return soon
Staff weren't attentive.
Booked a pre-theatre meal, the table was ready when we arrived 10 minutes early, which was good - two courses were excellent value. Moules Mariniere and hake with black risotto were very good, and also my wife enjoyed her selection of mushroom soup of the day and cheeseburger. Bottled French cider was good. Service was fast, but attentive, which is just what we wanted for pre-theatre dinner. Thanks.
Great place. Nice French-style bistro and the food is exceptional for the price
The restaurant currently suffers from having a construction site right out side the door so it is low on kerb appeal just now. However step inside and the service you get from a friendly and helpful group of staff make up for it. The food was excellent, the lamb was very tasty and the sea bass was also good. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody with the proviso not to try and sit outside until the construction work is finished.
Friendly, laid back, and reasonable value for money for the area
Pierre Victoire never fails - fantastic value, great food, friendly service, authentic French restaurant. I love it there!
I have been here several times and never been disappointed.
There was a hair in my food.
Gorgeous food, lovely experience and 10/10 for value. Love coming here!!!
Pierre Victoire has rustic, modest charm and is wonderful value for money. The staff were relaxed and friendly, the food unpretentious and really flavoursome, and wine by the glass/carafe (i.e. at the lower end of the price-scale) was very decent too.
We had mussels to start (marinier, and also grilled with garlic and pernod which was delicious), for which our waiter suggested an accompanying glass of Picpoul de Pinet (perfect); duck breast nice and pink with a good helping of dauphinoise potatoes, bavette steak and fantastic frites, and a carafe of Argentianian Malbec which again was a successful pairing. We were too full for puddings, sadly, but I will defintely be going back to sample them!
Amazing place, quite simple but cozy. A bit loudy though. Great service.
