Fabulous food, lovely waiting staff and really good value for money especially considering the location.
I have now been four times in the last six months. It was recommended by a girl friend who uses it frequently for shopping trips, pre theartre and lunch with the girls. The last was my reason for using it. I have always had good unobtrusive service. The food is excellent and it doesn't cost a fortune. What more could you want. I will be going again.
Great little restaurant in a good location for the numerous surrounding theatres. Great food and good atmosphere, busy place but didn't rushed. Attentive waiting staff.
Always a pleasure to dine here! Food was fantastic!
Problems with noisy Christmas Parties that the restaurant never informed us about. Noise was unpleasant and not conducive to dining.
Met some old college friends for a pre-Christmas get-together, really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, although sometimes it was a bit too noisy. We were not rushed at any stage which was great as we wanted a relaxed long lunch. Good selection of dishes on the reasonably priced set menu.
Awesome venue, food and ambience!!
This place is a gem, amazing food, great prices, the staff are always so helpful and friendly. I bring everyone who visits London to this restaurant and they in turn always recommend it to their friends. Such a great spot in Soho!
The food was good and the staff attentive and helpful.
LOVE this place, food is amazing and lovely ambiance. I have been here 7 times and will definitely be back
I had pretty high expectation and they were more than matched. Great vibe. Service just as you want it and not over the top. And most of all the food is such good value. Definite revisit.
Family get together with tasty food, wine and attentive service. An enjoyable occasion in the run up to Christmas.
Lovely food and excellent service. The restaurant had a real buzz, it is obviously very popular, tables were changing occupants very frequently. I will certainly go again and recommend to everyone, well not quite everyone, otherwise I wont be able to get in again.
All superb as usual but really high noise levels due too many squawking women.....
Brilliant as always, I have been coming here for around 10 years. It is like visiting Paris without the hassle of the Eurostar. The food isn't very complicated but that isn't what you come for. Highly affordable and authentic French cookery in the heart of Soho. Despite Dean Street barely existing anymopre due to Crossrail, this restaurant has stayed put and I'm so glad. Where else in Central London can you get 3 courses for £15? I don't know how they do it. Staff are always super friendly and food doesn't take ages to come (a problem in most London restaurants). Will go again soon.
Another great meal at PV. Just not enough staff. Staff are great and do their best under circumstances. Management take note: A couple of extra people would make all the difference!
Been here a few times now , staff always friendly and energetic
Food always great and good value
Great atmosphere, good service delicious food and a nice selection of wines. I will definitely be returning again.
I have been to this restaurant many times and the food is consistently great with great service. I will continue to go back.
Food was as good as ever and very good value
Service friendly and professional
The only down side to Pierre Victoire is that the tables are uncomfortably close together and the noise level can be invasive
However we will certainly return for more!!
A casual French style place. Cool decoration on the walls. A number of nice seafood options. They do have Bordeaux on the menu. Great.
Lovely place and atmosphere with good food at a reasonable price.
Had a lovely lively lunch. I have been here several times as a big group and only with a couple of people. Service is always good and great choice of food plus if you choose from the set menu even better price.
Great value, excellent service and very tasty food. Very popular so need to book.
Our booked table was not ready immediately, but we were seated within 5 minutes. The food and service were faultless. The first bill overcharged by almost £10, but this was immediately rectified. The tables are close together and the restaurant was excessively noisy but this is to some extent understandable, given that it was lunchtime and that so many people are accommodated into a small area. We shall certainly come again.
Really buzzy atmosphere. Great food, a real gem in the heart of
Hidden gem, slightly out of the throng in Soho but close enough to be handy. The service team couldn't have been more helpful and attentive, even though the place was packed on Friday evening. Food was well-cooked and generous in size. It's a noisy, vibrant place so choose your evening carefully if you want an intimate dinner for two.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal but slightly let down by the time our mains arrived. Mine & my husband’s came together but then after a few minutes I enquired about my mother’s dish only to be told that the waitress had forgotten to put it through the system. An honest mistake to make but I’d wished they’d told us as they had brought our food or at least wait until all three plates were ready and just give us a little heads up there would be a small delay. We stalled to eat our mains and it did come, maybe some 5-10 minutes later. They were very apologetic and offered my mum a glass of wine of the house (and dessert although we were too full sadly!) but just felt it couldve been handled better from the start rather than us, the paying customer, asking where the food is.
Aside from this, the food was delicious - fresh, presentable and all perfectly cooked. A fun & energetic room although it does get quite loud as tables are close so if you're afer a quiet romantic tete-a-tete, then this might not be best place. Service was friendly from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble.
It was a year or so since visiting here although very pleased last time. The food and service was very good once again. Their table d'hote menu is hard to beet in the West End
Our first visit, we will certainly be back. Good menu with lots of choice, very french as you would expect, excellent food.
Great location (once the building works have completed!), excellent food, really good value for money and lovely front of house team. This was the first time for 3 friends, although I'd been before for lunch. The menu is quite extensive and offers great options for everyone. Portion sizes are substantial (certainly for us 4 women) but quality of food is really good too. Hard to fault. They didn't chase us off the table either and as we'd booked for an early table the booking conditions would have suggested we'd be asked to move after 2 hours. We were there for over 2hrs 30 mins and there was no sense of us being rushed away even though other tables turned at least twice while we were there. Great service throughout. Highly recommended.
Fun French restaurant, delicious food, tables a bit squashed but in spite of that not too noise. Would recommend and will go again
Food was excellent although I found the range of starters limiting.
A busy place and with their pricing it's not surprising. Good French bistro style food with a very reasonably priced wine list. On the day we visited the place was heaving, staff kept very busy but they were spot on. Not much time for a chat but they guided us through the menu. The starters were enough for two or as a main. For the mains we both went for the Hake, beautifully cooked and presented on a bed of spinach and saute potatoes. Couldn't fault it. Having some wine left we asked for a portion of cheese for one to share. No problem. Finished with tarte tatin with a scoop of ice cream. The bill for three courses, coffee and a bottle of Beaujolais just over £80. Bargain of the year !!
Food was really good and has been every time I went
Very good lunch, staff very helpful in making sure we had a table of our preference. Some dishes often have nice sauces or different ingredients to the usual ones. Good variety on the menu. Set menus are very reasonably priced for central London with good quality food. Busy but that is a good sign. Very convenient for meeting friends before shopping or pre theatre. Will definitely recommend and return.
The food was delicious, as always. However, the service was not as good as before - very busy, no welcome or no goodbye, nothing to tell about the menu even though we had some precise questions. The biggest surprise was the noise level: Really disturbing, you could hardly hear your own thoughts.
Reminded me of my favorite French restaurant that I have been there twice and both times it was amazing. Great service and classic tastes! Loved it! Will recommend as it was a nice gem!
I had a highly enjoyable 70th birthday Sunday lunch with my Dad and sister at Pierre Victoire. The Prix Fixe is excellent value and it's a relaxed, atmospheric venue ideal for a leisurely meal and a glass of wine.
The food was very good but it was unpleasant being in basement, near to and en route to the toilet. We had originally booked for 5 people and it's hard to see where they would have put us as they seemed overbooked. We were 4 in the end and were squeezed in downstairs with a large group. it took a long time to get and pay the bill. Not sure I'd go back as there are so many other good places. Shame as the food was pretty good.
