Nice food, sensibly priced (we went for pre theatre so great deal) no rush, service attentive and very friendly. Lovely unique restaurant and away from usual chains. Piano player was on, so added to the mood and not too loud so we could still have a conversation. Will keep returning :)
Good value fixed price menu for a pre theatre lunch.Have been a couple of times and will go again
This restaurant in middle of London, just off Oxford Street is as good a restaurant for good quality food and extremely good value as you can get. The choices are numerous and varied, however due to the value, Steaks are additional cost to the set menu which is approx 15 pound for 3 courses. This is a brasserie venue and not a posh restaurant, however it is very popular and I suggest booking to confirm a table will be waiting.
Good food, nice environment.
Service was ok - although staff seemed annoyed that we didn’t order alcohol or starters and seemed to try just make us order to spend more money. Waiter lit other candles from our candle in the middle of our meal, three times, and leant across the table in between us interrupting our conversation. A waitress delivering food to other tables was very rushed and loud and seemed very angry. Food was ok - very small portions and very plain given it was a main meal. Had to ask for bill twice. Very loud restaurant and could barely hear each other talking.
Catching up with a friend and we were very happy with the service and the food was ever so tasty. What surprised us the most was there was a pianist playing - not expecting that at all :-) We clapped....a lot!! Will be back real soon.
Having requested a corner table its a shame it had been taken minutes before I arrived. Does anyone read these requests?
Otherwise a good as usual
Pierre Victoire consistently reminds me of why I always love crossing the Channel. It's a wonderful little bit of France in my home city.....Parfait
Regular gathering with friends and rarely let down for good food, service and value. Back again soon hopefully.
Mussels and traditional french dishes are the best! x
Went for lunch after the British Museum on a day out in London. What a gem, just off Oxford St near Tottenham Court Rd. Just like a small French Bistro in say the Marais. Great value.
Great food as ever, friendly service. Nice quiet evening for a catch up with a good friend
Buzzy, cozy French bistro restaurant on the edge of Soho. Not a place for quiet conversation. Good service, friendly staff. Good value for money. Food was a touch uneven, but we would definitely go again. (Get the duck livers!) Has a special pre-theatre menu.
Absolutely outstanding as usual. Always our place of choice to eat when visiting Soho!
Cosy cute restaurant with lovely friendly staff and great french food and wine . Excellent price too !
No point in making a booking as no table was reserved for us. They had our booking, but just hadn't set aside a table. The table we were offered was downstairs (no windows and adjacent to the kitchen) and... unbelievably... part way across the door to the toilets. Probably the worst table we have ever been given anywhere! Naturally we asked to be moved elsewhere and were given a table upstairs.
Food varied between good and very good.
The food was pretty good (although it arrived very slowly!) but we ordered sea trout with celeriac mash and received hake (which we were forewarned about ) with potato mash (which we were not). Wine was good, as were duck and sea bass.
We have been here many times before and its always our go to place when we come to town , for lunch, dinner before a show, great french bisto food in a relaxed atmosphere, look forward to coming back next time
Really cute restaurant. The food was good and cheap with a lot of options.
Very good quality food and good sized portions and great service with nice atmosphere. Plenty of choices on the menu. However, disappointed that the 3 of us were seated at a table at the back of the restaurant squashed up against the wall, even though I had requested a table in the window if possible. The table wasn't even made up for us when we arrived. Obviously it is a particularly busy time of year. Will still return another time and recommend to others.
Really delicious food and a nice candlelit romantic restaurant. Would recommend for a date night. We were originally sat downstairs, but preferred the atmosphere upstairs, so they changed our seats. Also, they were quick to bring out the food, but we just took our time and it was great that they didn't rush us.
We have visited Pierre Victoire many times over the years and it is always a great pleasure to escape the hub bub of London for a relaxing enjoyable meal
We will do so again and again and again ...........
Pierre Victoire was a short stroll from our theatre. The table was booked for 5.30pm, perfect for our post matinee meal. On arrival we were shown straight to our table (booked in advance) and given the menus. We were able to chose from the 2-course set menu at £15.95, which is served until 6.30pm.
We were very impressed with the menu selection, covering a wide variety of tastes, including vegan.
The food arrived promptly, and was plentiful and very tasty.
We chose the house white wine which was great value and very drinkable.
The service was was unhurried, and the staff attentive. All in all a great dining experience in a very warm and relaxed atmosphere. Great ambience and easy background music at the right volume! We shall definitely be returning on our next visit to London.
I have been to this restaurant many times and the food is always outstanding
Always love Pierre Victoire, now sadly London being the only opportunity to dine at.
Outstanding value for the quality of the dishes.
Because this restaurant is very popular we booked early with OpenTable. The menu has a great variety and we ordered three courses from it. The service was excellent and friendly and our chosen meals were tasty and cooked perfectly. Booking with Open Table is easy and efficient.
Fine place to have authentic French cuisine. Will recommend to anyone
Lovely little restaurant, staff very friendly. Food tasty served in good sized portions
Everything was amazing.
Can highly recommend x
Friends lunch. Relaxed environment where you can hear each other speak.
Wonderful place. Highly recommended.
This has become one of my fav restaurants in town. Always consistently good. My only complaint is that I once had the most to die for starter EVER and it was never on the menu again. Just for the record, it was polenta with creamed mushrooms in tarragon ( I think) it was the first time it was served, never to be seen again. I'll be back in February and just maybe it'll make a return 😊
Petit resto, Excellente nourriture, service impeccable (comme souvent à Londres),
Deco correct sans plus, pas d'ambiance et QUE des clients français quand ns y étions..
It was nice.
Not the greatest but ever so nice and would I kill a goat in order to get there? Probably not.
But a mosquito? Almost certainly.
We ordered the duck it was dry and tough, it was clearly wasn't done from fresh and the chips were so dry we left most of the food. When asked about the food, I told the waiter that the food was so poor they didn't take it off the bill but said he'll let the chef know. I wouldn't recommend this place at all!
Great service, fantastic food. For my main, I had the sesame crusted tuna - medium rare, and it just melted in my mouth; it was amazing. I look forward to going back there again.
Our meal at Pierre Victoire was fantastic as always. I've never had a bad meal there. Staff were really friendly and made the evening fun, choice of dishes is superb and great value for money. It's always my go - to restaurant when I feel like great French food.
Amazing food and lovely easygoing atmosphere-would definitley recommend.
Good food, friendly staff, good value and a nice ambiance
Delicious wine- reasonably priced for west wend. Fantastic scallop starter and really great duck! Lovely staff. Will visit again.
One of my favorite restaurants in London! Always wonderful choices on the menu! I always try something I haven't had before!
