Second visit to this lovely restaurant. Excellent service and a lovely environment. Starter and main course were excellent but the desserts, whilst still good were not quite to the same high standard. Would definitely visit again.

Delicious meal. I had the squid followed by scallop and langoustines then shared the rhubarb creme brulee and everything was fab. There was an early evening menu which is great value for money. Staff were lovely and attentive.

Enjoyable visit . All food excellent except one main course which was lamb which was over-cooked and dry...the only poor main course I have had here, after many visits for lunch. Service excellent and atmosphere cheerful.

Service was excellent; made to feel special. Lovely table at the window to people watch during lull in conversation. I would not have enjoyed the tables that face the (albeit mirrored) wall. A little disappointed in the escargots as they were not in their shells with lots of garlic butter, but were presented on toast and pate. Otherwise the meal was perfect. And the wine too. And did I say the service was good :-)

Pig Halle has become our new favourite place. We love the food, well presented, and the service is friendly and welcoming. We have been back three times in this past month, and since it's a forty-five minute drive, I think that says it all!

This is an exceptional restaurant with well above average food and service. It was a delight to meet friends here and we all had an excellent time. I would recommend it to anyone. It is also great value, authentic and friendly.

My husband and I were given a voucher for Christmas and couldn't wait to use it...Pig 'Halle did not disappoint. From the moment we sat down the staff were so friendly and attentive but knew when to approach the table or leave us to to enjoy our meal. We have the chateaubriand and it was fantastic. Even without a voucher Pig 'Halle is great value for the quality of food they produce, cannot recommend enough. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Pre-theatre menu has excellent choices to suit everyone for excellent value. Table was ours for two hours which was plenty of time. Service was excellent! Friendly, knowledgable and attentative.

Excellent Sancere with a delicious Coquille St Jacques to start. Presa had great flavour but was not tender at all and my mother damaged a tooth! The accompanying dauphinoise was slightly undercooked. Deserts were delicious and service was very good.

This French themed eatery excelled. We had the prix fixe lunch which offered a good choice of interesting starters and imaginative mains. All dishes were well presented and very tasty. The service was well-paced and was not over obtrusive. We would highly recommend.

This restaurant is always excellent. The food is full of flavour as French cuisine is renowned for & both wholesome yet healthy. If you can manage a dessert, they are superb. On special occasions we have been given complimentary macarons which are simple the best. The choice of food is good with specials of the day on the board. They serve complimentary bread with fish pate & chutney while you wait. The seating is very comfortable & general ambience is intimate & warm. Paula the joint owner is very welcoming with the right degree of friendliness & professional manner. Her standards are high so I'd imagine people are rarely disappointed.

Restaurant located close to car parks. French atmosphere in restaurant, very pleasant. Table location was not very good but acceptable (I had asked for a nice location). Food was very good. Main course was very small and required a larger dessert to fulfil our appetite. Food a bit expensive for the small course helpings. Wine also a bit pricey. Service was good. Would go back but not with 'hungry' guests.

The aperitif glass of white wine was warm - ice was needed for it to be drinkable but I was willing to accept that, reluctantly. The White wine chosen for the meal was too warm - staff said they didn't have enough room for a proper wine fridge - why that should be my problem I fail to see as I'm the customer. The wine was put in ice and THE LAST GLASS was at an acceptable temperature. A meal with a good wine served badly leaves an unhappy memory and it's difficult to recommend the restaurant without making this point abundantly clear.

This visit was to celebrate my husband's Birthday and we were not disappointed. Although the Christmas menu was available, we liked the choice of food on the fixed price lunchtime menu and this was excellent value. We have always found the staff happy and helpful as was the case on this occasion. Although we ate later than usual, there was still a very good atmosphere and we would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who enjoys their food.

We asked for one persons meal to be onion free and the main course was served with onions. Waiting staff were very apologetic and the dish was re-done very quickly. Otherwise, the service was excellent throughout and very friendly.
