The Sunday roast beef was excellent but would suggest roast chicken was added to the Sunday lunch menu with a greater choice of vegetables with the meal. Friendly staff and the atmosphere was great.

The food is very good but the service was awful, we had to wait at least 15 mins for drinks, 45 mins for food, we were going to the cornex afterwards so it was slight stressful, the staff were mostly young and inattentive, no apologies made for the long waits, so although the food was good we will not be returning, also very expensive for what is is

Would definitely go back. Good beer (and other booze) list, solid food menu. Scotch egg and hummus were excellent, as was the Sunday lunch.

We loved everything about our meal last night! The food was so tasty, and good value. The setting was lovely and our waiter was very very good. Will definitely return and would thoroughly recommend! Thank you for a great evening!

The first time we have eaten in the pint shop but we would definitely go again. It has a great atmosphere the staff were excellent and the food very tasty. As for the beers a choice of 23 the most difficult thing is choosing what to drink.

Two of the meals weren’t that well thought out. The pork dish was very dry with no sauce on a flat bread. Only half finished as it was so dry. The roast pork was very bean heavy and had hardly any other veg with it.

Exceptional sunny roast, good wine and beer selection. Desert was a car crash, fatty apple tart without much apple flavour and a posset that was more like a panda cotta - expecting soft cream and got a rubber ball. Main courses were excellent, desserts a bit of an after thought

The service of our brilliant server actually stood out above the most amazing chicken kebab - which was genuinely I think the nicest meal I’ve had in cambridge. (Let’s face it- too many over-priced, very average eateries around town). And it’s not a kebab - it’s a beautiful Persian style chicken dish with spices and amazing accomp … on a wrap. (Partners pork belly slightly disappointing and bland… but he was v excited I couldn’t finish my dish!) The noise level upstairs a bit distracting - u have to yell to one another at times to be heard- noticed soundboards on the ceiling but they’re not solving the problem sadly!! A makeover with taste, a bit of expense and some ecoustics solutions would make this place completely amazing!! But definitely bodes for a really enjoyable night!!

On our way to the theatre and we had a very good 3 course meal with good service and at no time water we worried about rushing through the meal. Our waiter was aware of our situation and responded pleasantly and professionally. It was our friends first time and they will certainly return.

Small but interesting menu. Managed food intolerances ok. Helpful in finding suitable menu items. However, starter still contained some of the ingredients that cause me to be unwell. Luckily I saw them before eating them. Staff pleasant and efficient.

Fantastic service, really friendly and attentive. Food was disappointing. Ordered Sunday lunches, meat was excellent but the gravy was so so salty it was almost inedible (tasted like marmite), roast potatoes were like rocks and other things very overcooked.

We visited your restaurant last night in hope to enjoy a lovely meal. However when visiting your restaurant last night I was really disappointed. The food was served cold, really inadequate for the prices and just a huge disappointment. The lamb kebab in particular was dry and inedible. The service was really slow and the overall experience was one of my worst in terms of restaurants. I was really disappointed to pay such a large bill for such a awful meal.

Very good selection of food and beer. Only bad point was the Yorkshire puds were a tad overdone and hence a bit crumbly. Service was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the centre of Cambridge.

Fantastic roast dinners (inc. vegetarian), beer and helpful and friendly service, above and beyond expectations, in a stylish, laid-back setting. The only downside were two excessively loud tables of around 12 people, who dominated the room. Not the Pint Shop's fault, of course.

Good pub & family vibe, with polite staff, good facilities for baby changing, but most importantly delicious food which is good value for money (compared to other nearby restaurants which charge a fortune). My wife demolished her steak (cooked to perfection), and I thoroughly enjoyed my pork kebab.
