Perfect for a light lunch or casual afternoon business meeting, the pace begins to pick-up around 5:30pm, delivering a decidedly more energised experience as the evening progresses.
Great atmosphere and food! Perfect for a night out with friends
The team at Pix were lovely & friendly but unfortunately the food was poor quality/dried out/cold under the heat lamps. I would not go again or recommend it. Although not expensive, it doesn't hold up in taste or quality to similar priced Tapas places in Soho.
A little gem of a place, staff very warm and accommodating, the food was excellent with large variety of choice for tapas. The ambience really sets this place apart, with an eclectic buzz of music stirring in the background, set in warm Mediterranean decor. You should absolutely pay this place a visit, you will not be disappointed.
Arrived at 20:00 on a Saturday evening; there were only few pinchos at the bar. They were adding new pinchos occasionally, but on those moments everybody ran to the bar so they were sold out very quickly...
Bar itself is very loud and noisy, would not recommend going there for a dinner, you can barely hear each other..
Really good place, great food and great vibe. Wide options and solid wine list that is not over the top in cost.
Had better experience in other pix! Food was replaced very quickly.
Great foot and great idea with pay for plate option
Best seat in the house is the window. Close to the food and great for dates.
Second time we have been here, first was random, this with friends as we had a really good experience before! And also this time we were not disappointed! Really good food and friendly staff! Be careful not to overload your plate otherwise cost rises! ;)
Had a fab evening here for my birthday with age range 20s to 60s! Great atmosphere and the food was amazing, plenty to choose from, could have eaten even more! We had average of 7 Pix each and I’d definitely go again.
Over all a good experience, good food, friendly staff but the seating was mostly uncomfortable hard wooden stools and with the front door always wide open, a bit chilly in November!
Quirky and cool. A very small restaurant with buffet style help yourself service. Easy to spend a lot of money without realising it!
Lovely food as ever but wine was average and the total cost was a surprise at the end of the evening - prices have crept up... Forgot to use pandillero discount card and should have been prompted by staff
Nice place, nice food, a bit pricey in the end but the ambinace was great and the staff were very friendly. I will reccommend to others and I will come back.
I booked a table for a mid-week lunch with a friend. I had been before some time back.
I was pleasantly surprised, there was a lunch time deal, on the Wednesday, the place was reasonably empty and quiet. As all the food is at the front, this was another pleasant susprise as it can get quite crowded.
As before, the food was amazing, thoroughly enjoyable on many levels. It is not a place were you get served, however, we were lucky with our seats as they were always offering new fresh plates being brought out to us as they passed.
The range I feel is more than adequate.
I would like to see some more traditional Spanish fare including Mocilla based foods, more salt fish offerings and even Linguee (eels). A wider range of Chorizo.
The one and only thing I did not like was the hot skewers that did have Chorizo, but the grade was low quality and little flavor.
We will defiantly be going back.
The drinks are extremely overpriced even for London. £12 for standard cocktails like just Gin and tonic or a mojito is ridiculous. The food is nice but small. There is a optional but default service change despite it being a place you get up and get your own food, drinks are served to the table but this was very slow. There was a fairly large group of us (12), at the end when we came to paying we had to put all the sticks into one pot instead of just each person paying for their own sticks which caused confusion. Also the waitress just couldn’t be bothered, when she came back with the bill she just wanted to split it 12 ways and was visibly annoyed when we wanted to pay individual amounts (some people had much less than others). They should either be more accommodating, or just not take bookings for larger groups.
I love this place and it's an easy one if you're meeting friends who may/may not want to eat. They were a bit confused about our booking and we had to ask for our glasses to be cleaned, but the staff are friendly and welcoming and I love the vibe here. It's not cheap, but it's a fun place for a quick bite and glass of cava. They always have great music.
Hadn't realised that this was a self-service tapas bar when I booked but the concept worked well and the food was really good and there was lots of choice. Like all buffet style offerings, it was good to try and catch the food as it came out of the kitchen rather than the food that had been sitting out on the table for a while. Decent value and a good quick pre-theatre supper destination.
Good selection of foods. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
The premise of the restaurant is really unique and the décor and presentation is fantastic.
The layout is a little odd considering you have to go up to collect your food, passing in a small corridor with a full restaurant and busy staff is quite difficult.
We went on a Saturday evening, and as the staff were so busy our drinks took 20+ mins to order and arrive both times we ordered. (apparently there was only one person on the bar...) The staff were rushed off their feet, so its difficult to blame them but they weren't particularly accommodating.
Nevertheless, the restaurant was good, and I think on a less busy night it would be fantastic.
Great food and great atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly friendly.
Excellent food as always and all you can eat offer is great value.
Music was too loud, I couldn't hear my friends speak.
Lovely laid back tapas bar. Drink prices on the average for soho. Easy to go overboard with the self service tapas. Price of the tapas depends on the size of sticks. Be aware that you have a time limit on the table no matter how much you order or spend. Overall I would go back maybe not at the weekend.
Good, very reasonably priced tapas. Some of the dishes (pork belly, calamari etc) don’t cope as well with the ‘buffet’ style of service and can go a bit chewy/soggy but everything else was excellent. Lots of good priced wine and a nice ambiance for a date/drink with fiends
Always outstanding. Lovely people who run things there
The Calamari is back- yes yes yes! Not only that but the food was good and service excellent!
Fantastic lunch time unlimited tapas for £15
This is the second Pix we have been to and loved both! We went on a Wednesday lunchtime and it was very quiet. We took advantage of the 'all you can eat for £15' weekday offer and enjoyed a LOT of excellent food! The dishes kept coming - nothing ran out - and the waiters were friendly and attentive to our drinks needs! Thoroughly recommend!
Food was okay, not fantastic selection to choose from and tortilla was only good when freshly brought out. Otherwise, a nice place to sit in and service is great.
Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and good Tapas. Good value for Soho. Definitely recommend.
Pix - Soho is a perfect spot for a a lunch. The staff is always supernice and the food is great. If you only have one hour work lunch - you don’t need to wait for ordering and preparing of the food - because all the tapas is ready and you can just take what you like. And you can even have more than one dessert ;)
Unlike some others, you can book, so you know you will get a seat. You help yourself to the tapas, which was nice. It was very noisy, we found it a bit difficult to have a good conversation.
The food was amazing and the way to order and pay was very original. The booths downstairs were very fun aswell. Will definitely come back.
Something changed at Pix in the last year and unfortunately not for the better. My last visit I think.
Great place, really enjoy it here. Tapas is lovely, only issue on this visit is that the selection was limited and not being replaced very quickly so did not get to try things that we wanted to.
Fantastic wine and allowed to try before we bought it.
Booked table for 7pm on Friday night. Good selection of tapas to choose from. Simple system of collecting stick to work out how much you need to pay.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff, good value food, will definitely come again
I would like to listen more spanish music that can gives a spanish mood to the place
Pintxos have decreased in quality since the last time we were there. It seems more like a cocktail bar than a place for good food. We preferred the authentic basque pintxos that they had before.
Yes - wonderful food, great service and generous with the bottomless drinks. We were not rushed off the table which was appreciated and the music and ambiance is great there.
