Pix - Soho
Perfect for a light lunch or casual afternoon business meeting, the pace begins to pick-up around 5:30pm, delivering a decidedly more energised experience as the evening progresses.
Such a fun and unique experience with warm and helpful staff.
Overpriced for what it was. Was nice to sit outside but no table service for food.
Lovely evening, with great food . Service excellent
Great atmosphere, food and service. Would definitely go back again.
Our waitress was lovely, however when I asked for dessert menu from a waiter he told me to look for my own eyes up at the bar where the food is - he then just walked away. Tapas is traditionally known as little plates to share - there’s no sharing involved here. It is all about a mouthful, so don’t go when your hungry. None of it is warm, all arrives cold. Overall very basic, below average experience.
We enjoyed our evening but for a large group food portion sizes not adequate.
Pix has a wonderful vibe, however, the staff are not very attentive and the food was like warm.
It was extremely disappointing to see how the server missed out and served us pork even though we informed her in the beginning. After that she had the audacity to out the entire bill of food on the house which was probably £20 due to the eat out to help out but disgracely took money for our drinks. It was horrible
The indoor tables are too close together for current social distancing guidelines. The food arrives quickly but it was cold and flavorless. I asked for a Belvedere vodka martini and the bartender had to come to our table to ask us what that was. The drink was delivered and it was a dark drink that tasted like a Manhattan.....I told the bartender how to make it and it was still wrong. Many of the staff were not wearing masks. We left and at least they did not charge for the fiasco. Very disappointed and never again!
Lovely food and good value combined with the gov scheme. However, tables were quite close together and felt a bit cramped. Also, given a lot of the food is finger food, it would be good if hand sanitiser was readily available on the tables.
The menu was changing throughout the evening depending on what was available and made fresh. The menu was on an iPad. Service was great and fun atmosphere.
Service a bit scattered - hard to get attention etc.
Food good but not amazing.
Could be doing a bit more re Covid eg sanitising card machine, cleaning tables, etc. Didn’t see much of this as compared with other restaurants at the moment.
Quite over priced for what it was. Not tapas but canapés. Service was ok but not the friendliest.
Outstandingly good food, although small plates run out of choice pretty quickly.
Super friendly staff and a great vibe to sit outside.
Good food, although the menu changed so quickly that things we ordered sometimes ran out quickly.
Staff are absolutely lovely, just not very attentive. We had to wave them down a few times to get attention in order to order more food.
Food was ok, but easily racks up the bill as the potions are small.
Extra bonus for being dog friendly!
Staff were excellent...bit difficult getting used to not being able to pick up our Tapas(but understood with the virus)..good value and a gorgeous bottle of rose..
The service was so great here. They were so friendly and even threw in some free tapas after making us wait a little longer than usual. Food was great
Continuously running out of dishes, but the server never apologised nor explained they had run out when bringing over the items. Oddly they never even suggested we just order the things they did have or offered alternatives - they just placed the plates down and walked away. And of course they tried to charge us for the things we ordered but never arrived.
Food looks nice, but seems to be lacking any real taste. And for dishes that are pre made and just have be served from the counter, you wait a very long time for them to come to your table.
So we went very hungry and had to eat elsewhere afterwards.
The staff were friendly and nice but took a while for our order to be taken and it’s really not great value for money to honest.
Food wasn't that warm but tasted great. Cocktails were lovely, could do with a few different Beers on the menu.
Fantastic pintxos outstanding service and a great vibe
Went for a lunch here on a Saturday afternoon shortly after hospitality reopening, and it was lovely! We sat outside, staff socially distanced and also wore face masks. The food was amazing and so much choice, great atmosphere, great wine and prices are so reasonable. I can’t wait to come back!
Disgrace. Booked a table outside for 4 at 9pm on "Super Saturday" (reopening of restaurants). We were seated a whooping 1.5h later after standing outside in a drizzle. The waiters took our order three times, and forgot/lost it three times. We never got any food and walked out at 11pm. The only positive - the waiters do seemed apologetic and did bring us a free drink as an "apology". But still: table 1.5h late despite booking, got 2/5 drinks ordered and no food. The manager was not particularly concerned about this, we saw him do shots with customers. Avoid avoid avoid.
Tapas as close as that which you get in Spain!
New dishes being introduced at end of March - can't wait to try them.
Great throwback music as well.
I love this restaurant.
Absolutely loved pix, the atmosphere, cocktails and food were amazing. Service was great and would highly recommend for a date night!
Always love coming here, especially at lunch time!
This is our new favourite pre-theatre supper. It's fab.
Great place to catch up with a friend as its a fun location in Soho and really nice lively restaurant! The food was delicious and there are some great choices which are always getting changed / topped up. The concept is unique and fun, and the staff were really attentive. I would recommend the calamari, cod balls, patatas bravas and churros!
Wonderful atmosphere with excellent front of house staff, food was very good with a wide juice of tapas.
As authentic a tapas bar I have seen since I left Barcelona.
Food was nice enough but didnt like the fact that it had been left out and uncovered for potentially hours. It wasnt refreshed very often and not all plates were out at all times.
Ambience was lacking, the servers were hanging around the bar directly next to where we sat and it felt very 'laddy' with lots of raised voices. When we asked one of the team what an ingredient was, they just said dunno and shrugged. No offer to find out!
Authentic and mouth watering Tapas, so fresh and tasty. Charming staff and a laid back atmosphere. Ideal for a casual get together with good food whether lunch or dinner. Well worth a visit. Recommended.
Self serve coubter service is a novel idea for a pix bar. Cantina style with high tables. Good atmosphere and reasonable food
Fab selection for all tastes. Will definitely visit again!
Great food as always! We came here as a group of 8 and thought the food and drink was really good, lots of options for all tastes and dietary requirements.
The place is ok, the tapas are delcious, the waiters are all super nice but overall its a bit too expensive at the end of the day for a simple tapas place! Only the beer is cheaper, everything else has the price of a restaurant and this is definitely not a restaurant. The small tables for 2 are very unconfortable especially next to the entrance and close to the tapas bar where there is insane movement all the time.
Was running late and called to let Pix know, they were very nice about that and were friendly when we arrived. Food and drink was great, whisky sours and you really can't go wrong with tapas. The goats cheese and fig was the surprise highlight. Try it If you see it.
We were seated as a set of three people at bar-like table so we were in a row which made communication a bit tricky. I quite like the tapas style of going up and collecting the food yourself, but I found the restricted space a bit frustrating when funnelled past fellow customers. Food generally was tasty, but consistently found some dishes cold (e.g. calamari) some of which really need to be enjoyed hot in my opinion. As we went in dry January I was still surprised at the cost of our bill, partially that can be put down to sheer greed. However, £90 for 3 people for about 30 minutes of dining experience with only soft drinks sounds high to me (and whilst we paid it, I think putting a service charge is a bit cheeky for a go and get it yourself menu). I think if the hot foods could be put on more hot plates (there were a few) and monitored for how long they have been 'out' for that might be a good improvement. I'd also turn this particular restaurant around 180 degrees so there is more space for the food to be collected and less crowding at the front entrance where a cool breeze will take the heat out.
Lacked variety of pintxos, especially the warmer ones.
Great food, great location
