The food was good, but coffees and brunch took a good half hour to get to us, and after our meals had been brought out.
Always a safe bet for a good meal. Salmon was disappointingly dry this time. Hopefully just a one-off glitch.
Good ambience, good food, and service wasn't too bad either. Great tenderloin pork dish!
Amazing food as always. Great atmosphere, and super friendly staff.
The belly of pork was excellent, soft and moist and avoided being overly fatty - a common letdown. There're only about 3 main wood fired oven dishes to choose but don't worry about choice - you can instead mix the starters with vegetable side dishes to create a 'tapas' style meal for yourself or to share; I've never had a disappointing one. Of course, pizza is available - pretty good but it's on the other dishes where the kitchen excels What stands out here is the quality and care put into the cooking. My partner and I dislike virtually all chain restaurants but PE (and sometimes Côte Brasserie) puts most similarly priced independent restaurants in the shade - it manages to feel like a truly local and independent restaurant. Less formally, at the Kentish Town restaurant there's a lovely Italian/Spanish style rustic bar where you can order charcuterie and cheese.
always good! love this place, it's out neighbourhood local and never disappoints!
I came here two years ago and it was ok, we re-visited again and to be honest I was not happy at all with the food, the pizza selection is poor to say the least for a pizza restaurant, but what’s worse is the pizzas really are terrible, on mine the topping was so sloppy it literally fell off my pizza, and my partners pizza was so dry it was like the Sahara desert.
The starters were ok but we were very disappointed in the pizzas, and to be honest for what it was it was extremely expensive, I wouldn’t come here again.
Like all the branches of a Pizza East Kentish Town is great, wonderful vibe, friendly service and good food - a definite good choice
Favourite local haunt and never disappoints. The food is always very good.
We are at Pizza East before a gig at the Forum (20% off if you show your ticket). Having been to the Shoreditch and Notting Hill branches, this was the friendliest and most accessible. Very good service, very good food and very good value. Exactly what we were after!
Nice to be able to sit outside (with a dog), but noisy street. Service was friendly. Food was disappointing.
Lost it's buzz...food just ok, service slow. Paid £25 for a small carafe of white wine...so over priced.
Great food at reasonable prices. Service did overcharge for 3 drinks we didn’t order but this was quickly resolved. Nice place will visit again.
Excellent service, food and vibes
The excellent selection of food and drinks, all very reasonably priced, service was really good too. Our second visit in a couple of weeks and we'll be sure to go back again.
Service was truly terrible; table of 9 with kids, food came at totally different times and most of it was poor - steak got sent back. Only positive is this was acknowledged my management and discount given of final bill
Nice food, friendly staff. Always a good place for pizza, sides lacked flavour
Nice dinner out with the family. Great pizza with plenty of other options. The Mac and cheese is outstanding
Left feeling full, relaxed and happy. Very handy for pre-gig meal too. Loved it
Lovely food and service, my Italian friends really enjoyed the pizza.
The best pizza east in London, the food is great we tryed the sunday roast and the quality was very good. My girlfriend tryed the pizza that it was amazing with crunchy crost.
I will recommande with no doubt
It's quite a loud restaurant so a little difficult to hear if there's more than 4 of you, but we've been here several times and it's always fab food. When we visited this time, we were taken to be seated at our table but they needed access to the wood logs which were right behind our table so they took us to the bar while we waited for 5/10 mins to be seated again. As an apology they brought us 3 complimentary starters which was really kind. The food is delicious and especially the pizzas which aren't stodgy and you really can taste each ingredient. The only draw back is that it took forever for them to bring us our coffees even though we asked for them 2 or 3 times, so we ate our desert without them, but all in all it was another good meal here.
Another good meal at Pizza east, for me one of the best Pizza's not a big menu but Pizza's done properly in a Wood fired oven and taste magnifico... rest of menu is also very good and always tasty.. we will of course be back !!
Great experience as always. Lovely pastries. Muffin was slightly dry and coffees could have been a bit hotter but overall great.
Very nice place, amazing food, top Sunday roast!!!
I used to go here a lot a couple of years ago but the vibe has really changed which was disappointing. It’s overrun with children and the service was pretty slow and unfriendly.
If you’re an adult and don’t want children running around you whilst you have dinner then give it a serve and go to the shoreditch branch.
Pizza east definitely serves the best pizza in London. Always an amazing night.
Great pizza and good choice of sides. Cosy atmosphere, service was great staff very friendly. Our pizza arrived very quickly and it was very tasty ! Would definetly come back for more.
10/10 for portion size, general ambiance and food! All in all a very relaxed experience!
We regularly go to Pizza East and always enjoy the quality of their pizza and starters.
It is perfect for a family get together.
We had such a lovely time. An excellent pizza and a glass of wine. Simple but perfect and good value. Warm and cosy but cool too with a friendly and lovely waiter.
Always good food, good service and great atmosphere-
It was lively and fun the decor was good and the food was excellent I couldn’t complain
The food was excellent - best tasting pizzas ever! We were three adults with three toddlers and the staff were amazing with the little ones. They gave them dough to play with at the counter, delicious food for them to eat - just brilliant!
For the mums the food was amazing the cocktails were great :-)
the food is exceptional, authentically Italian! Great not only for its Pizza but all dishes are prepared to perfection.
Tasty food, but overpriced for pizza. Toppings were all charged at £2.50+ for extras. Really nice atmosphere, very chilled and a good place for a catch up with friends. The wood fired ovens and open kitchen are a great feature.
Fantastic and quick service. Lovely, helpful waitor. Great food and nice atmosphere!
Food was good however we felt very uncomfortable as the heating was not working and we were very cold.
