Just like our big brother in Shoreditch, while we take our pizza seriously the setting is very relaxed. We’ve stripped the building’s interior back and created a light and airy space with wooden floors and huge windows, then filled it with beautiful vintage cafe furniture. The in-house wood-fired ovens and open ground floor kitchen mean there are great views to be had inside, especially from the antique stools at the counter, or you can sit outside and watch the world go by.
Our upstairs dining room is an even more laid-back sitting room, as is our terrace, a little green haven away from the hustle of town, where you can have drinks or dinner.
Love the vibe. Food is authentic and expertly done. Delicious. The service was friendly and professional. Loved this new place. We will be back very soon.
Very limited menu at the moment, as previous regular customers of pizza east, it would have been nice to know before booking.
The pizzas are amaaaazing!!! Lovely place and staff were really attentive too :)
I meant to go to Portobello Ristorante Pizzeria which is in the Good Food Guide but this restaurant seems to be benefiting from identity theft. Reasonable food but very overpriced for a pizzeria
It is a lovely place, cosy and welcoming.
We, as a family, have a pizza night every Sunday evening and we really like it!
Highly recommend 🌟
Great service.. & great food. Thanks for the experience
Excellent pizzas, very enjoyable wine all delivered with a smile. Another good experience at Pizza East!
It was a half term family dinner - a firm favourite over several years now. The pizza is possibly the best in London - there is something magical about the dough - just pefectly crusty edges with a soft, chewy centre. Excellent service as always.
More than a pizza joint
Excellent range of dishes for all tastes.
Half term meant tons of noisy kids not assisted by too loud background music.
But a fun place to be
Lovely time. Loved Jorge - legend. Spoke Spanish with him and he ensured it was an enjoyable evening from start to finish.
Not the best pizza in town, starters came with the main course so we didn’t enjoy it
Good food efficient service nice young atmosphere
Quite noisy as small space and people squashed a bit.
Service not very efficient as we waited 25 mins for a drink!
Food fine but nothing special.
Pizza East never fails for. Midweek family treat.
Amazing pizza and experience , great place !
40 minutes to be served. Asked for drinks three times.
Not as good as the original in Shoreditch, difference ambience, service and food not as good. However, still worth a visit for sure!
The food was rubbish and expensive
Horrible service. Half our order never arrived and not even an acknowledgement of it.
cool vibe good pizzas lovely bar
Amazing food as usual. Not busy so staff also relax a bit which makes the service a bit slow. Still wish they had proper wine glasses, tumblers don’t make the wine justice.
Very very slow service, between starter and main course was about an hour.
A group of people who were chasing a guy ran into the restaurant shouting and yelling against another guy who found shelter into the restaurant causing an uncomfortable situation. Nobody said sorry or apologised about the situation. The pizza was tasteless and different from the brunch in Shoreditch
The lighting was to dark
The heating wasn’t working and it was a cold and miserable and the service was terrible. One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.
Very very average food. The focaccia was very thick, the bread used with scrambled eggs and salmon wasn't amazing. I won't go back.
Nice staff
Order the carpaccio and it was no longer on the menu but they only t
The food and service were excellent. This is our second time here and it was just as good as the first. I don’t know if it’s just our experience but it seems that management/ customers put pressure on staff for not being swift enough or are paranoid about cancel culture. The waiter was very sorry about the delay with our food - we didn’t even notice or need the apology either time, the food arrived in good time.
Calamari was very rubbery. Lasagne was only just warm not halt enough. Waitress was very good
I always have a great meal at this place. This time I arrived 10 mins before they open. I am partially disabled but thank god they let me directly in and gave me a seat whilst the staff attended an opening meeting. Thank you! The food was delish and the service was super!
Really unimpressed. not great food and service was very slow and not very friendly I most likely wont return.
If you ever make it to Portobello Road you definitely have to visit Pizza East! 😊
We've been there with our 10yo daughters and it was great.
All very good. Only minor issue was that one of our coffees was not hot - but it was sorted ASAP.
Great food. Ambiance is fun but very load can’t hear anyone speak.
Service staff are lovely but missed one of our dishes, and the pizzas took over half an our to arrive.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, but the music was SO loud that we couldn’t have any sort of conversation. We aren’t old people who always complain about noise :) just trying to have a family dinner! Otherwise, everything was good, but we’ve had better pizza at The Shoreditch location... will try again! Maybe just a busy night!
The San Danielle pizza is the best you'll have ever. Don't miss it.
We are tegulat customers at Pizza East but tonight’s visit was nit all that great at all. The music was too loud- so loud i couldn’t hear what my husband was saying across the table.
We irdere a butter lettuce and avocado salad with a salami tonato pizza o ly to be served with the salad and calamari. We waited then for the pizza to arrive. The pizza was nice although slightly too salty. The oannacotta was too sweet and sickly.
Adter paying fir the meal we noticed that we had been charged £3.00 for ‘extra avocado’ that er didn’t ask for. When told by tha manager that it was a mistake hes asked what would i like him to do about it? He was very surprised and taken aback when i said that i’d like my £3.00 reimbursed!!!
Bot great.
very good food and service, not cheap and music very loud but a great venue.
As always, it was a lovely meal in a fabulous neighbourhood
The pizza was good (but not great), it was the service that was disappointing. We felt a bit forgotten sitting upstairs and waited a while for forks and then to pay our bill. It wasn't terrible at all, but could have been better.
