Great food. Good atmosphere. Enjoyable evening. Would recommend.
Too loud, we couldn't have a conversation. We were also moved on before we could take the time to eat the dessert. The dessert itself was not very good (tiramisu looked like it had seen better days), but we were also full and needed a short break before moving to dessert. It's too fast, they want you out quickly (1.5 hour bookings!) and not a place to relax and talk.
Really good pizza and sides, though felt a little rushed to order.
Great food and attentive service!
Best Pizza in London. Keep going back to this place and I am never disappointed.
Perfekt family dinner with children.
Their menu is great, love the food and atmosphere. Wished they’d give us a bigger table for 4 people.
Great food (including excellent starters!) and top service. Highly recommended!
Over hyped. The pizzas were average at best. The dessert was disgusting and the overall service was shocking. Extremely slow and took about 1 hour to request the bill (after asking 3 separate servers). Wouldn’t go back! Certainly not worth £85!
Great atmosphere and food hit the spot - comforting without being too heavy. Great for vegetarians!
Good food, good service but very noisy , small portions for starters
I liked the atmosphere – a large place, good for groups, but still with character. We would probably return for another visit. The pizzas were all good, but service was incredibly slow to get started. Once we'd eventually ordered everything was fine, but took far too long! Apart from the disappointing start it was a good experience.
Stunning Pizza, incredibly efficient service considering how large the restaurant is. This is definitely a popular venue, they will double any item price just for this reason, 10 quids for a margherita, come on... Poor drink selection. Noisiest restaurant experience ever, ate my delicious pizza asap and left before having irreversible hearing damages
Lovely pizzas - fresh, perfectly fried in the wood oven
Great experience, very friendly and helpful staff! Great food, good size restaurant for family bookings!
I go to Pizza East on a regular occasion and normally the food is good, however on Saturday my Pizza was undercooked in the middle and very runny. I contemplated sending it back but the restaurant was very busy.
The food was amazing and reasonably priced. The Bellinis were delicious! The staff were attentive and really lovely! Great location just 2 minutes from Shoreditch overground station and just across the road from the box park.
Food was very good, service was so poor, not very impressed and found it over priced.
Food was great.
However the service was extremely poor when it came to paying. I have a PE Lovers card, which entitles me to 50% off food and drink as on the card but when the bill came, I was told it didn’t apply to drinks. This was the first time I’d heard of it.
I booked through open table, and received no messages indicating that the 50% off only covered food now, not drinks. When I arrived for the booking, I was told the table wasn’t ready and to go to the bar, but nothing was said regarding the PE Lovers card only applying to food now.
It was only when the bill came that we were told that drinks did not apply. Obviously we wouldn’t have got as many drinks if we had known this. But the waiting staff and then manager refused to accept our card. Eventually they did but not once our experience had been ruined. Things could’ve been made so much clearer by staff saying before we ordered food/drink about the new policy, or with clear signage, or at the beginning. Very disappointed PE.
Great atmosphere, the restaurant was buzzing. A simple meal of olives, almonds and pizza with a glass of wine was good value. The wine was Really good and the pizzas were great, super fresh and tasty and interesting toppings rather than the norm.
Will be back!
very nice pizzas with very nice staff. The pizza took a while to come but the starter was brought out very quickly. the staff were apologetic for the wait and clearly very busy but remained friendly and warm towards us.
Very nice spot for family and friends very recommend
The menu was very poor for gluten free / vegan options- had a gluten free version email but difficult to read. Should have a printed menu.
Was a great night. A lovely menu with lots of choices, not the same old stuff as at other pizza places. Really good service considering it was busy. Food was fresh and really tasty. Service staff were friendly and prompt. Thanks Pizza east for a great night.
Visited here , great service nice and quick and tasty good quality food
Great pizza and ambiance, only issue was a 15 minute wait for my table despite booking before hand.
Great place, trendy, laid back, lively and fun, fantastic food not just for pizzas. Great for large tables and small. Have eaten here with girls for lunch and returned for an evening table with family to celebrate a birthday. My teenage children thoroughly enjoyed this place too.
I went to Pizza East with 8 of my work colleagues. The service was very prompt, friendly, professional and the food arrived in a timely manner. The pizzas were excellent, I haven't been here in about 4 years and they are still very good! Highly recommended for a team night out.
Waiters coming every 2 minutes to remove plates, ask about the order, the restaurant is nice but you can't be alone 2 minutes. I felt a lot of pressure on the timing and it makes me unconfortable.
My pizza was all bread, burnt and no topping
Very sad that this vibrant place has lost the art of making good food
Not sure I’d go back
A favourite location of ours, always perfect, great pizza and great Sunday lunch - live the brutalist look
We attended this restaurant on my partners birthday celebration as I have been to pizza east before and know the food is lovely.
Again the food was lovely when we visited on 7th April.
Unfortunately my partner was sat on a chair in the restaurant that had a nice lump of chewing gum on that got stuck all on her jeans. Quite ironic as we were there celebrating her birthday and they were a birthday present. This maybe something for your establishment to look out for in the future.
The pizzas were very good and the service was very fast. Perfect for group dinners.
We visit this place everytime we visit London for it's oven baked Mac and cheese. Unfortunately, this time the Mac and cheese didn't have the breadcrumbs and the place was too loud. I couldn't hear the person next to me.
Was late. They gave the table away which is fair enough. Seated us at the bar instead, after 30 minute wait. Ordered the prawn pizza for curiosity’s sake as much as anything. It was soggy. But tasted fine. Service is OK. Hipster cool. Overall it’s a scene focused pizza restaurant selling cold beer and soggy prawn pizza. Not sure what the fuss is about. Incredibly busy so obviously I’m the idiot.
As ever food was incredible and we have a 50% discount so fab value. Service was a bit rushed and our waitress has no knowledge of the menu so couldn’t recommend wine or food.
Beautiful place pizza so good like the Italian tradition and service so good and funny
Really lovely pizza. Great place really good atmosphere.
Absolutely perfect venue with the loveliest staff and delicious food. We had a great Sunday brunch/lunch with our Californian cousins. Thank you!
