Pollen Street Social
Service was respectful, discreet, and attentive. Flavors blended beautifully, in ways not suggested by the ingredients, such as an amuse bouche of finely chopped celery and garlic with a subtle note of anise, piled onto a slim tart yet easy to eat in one bite. Somehow, sublime.
We were disappointed. We had the tasting menu and the Fine Wine choice. Like the proverbial curates egg, it was good in parts but not good enough for a very expensive evening.
Food and service were both top notch. Will definitely be returning.
Great value lunch menu with very good service and superb food, the only let down was reasonably priced wine.
An absolute delight. Service was perfect and the food exquisite. Will definitely return.
This is the best restaurant I've ever been to and the experience was excellent. The staff are extremely attentive and the food was outstanding.
I would recommend this for anyone and found it good value too.
Been here several times. It is always very good. Very proficient staff. £240 for two, two courses, half bottle of wine: expensive.
Atmosphere was gorgeous, service was impeccable and the food was to die for. My second visit and I recommend it to everyone. Thank you!
Food was outstanding, service great a bit noisy initially but it calmed down. Would go back in a heart beat
Our second visit and I'm already saving up for our next.
I'd thoroughly recommend Pollen Street Social. My partner and I had the vegan tasting menu, which easily ranks amongst the best Michelin star vegan food I've enjoyed in London. The ingredients, creativity, presentation and service were excellent. The atmosphere is busy, bustling and quite noisy, so perhaps not ideal for a romantic lunch, but I'd definitely recommend for a business event.
I keep coming back since the experience -primarily but not exclusively the food - always exceeds my expectations. The set lunch is an excellent choice in terms of quality, portions and price. I’m grateful for the attention to detail they show.
Incredible dining experience matched with impecible service. The staff were truly outstanding and the food out of this world. An an absolute must try!
We had the tasting menu with accompanying classic wine flight. The food was excellent throughout and the menu well balanced. There were also fun elements such as the take on fish and chips at the start and the guess the flavour ice cream selection.
The service was efficient without being intrusive. And my daughter really liked the surprise birthday cake at the end. All four of us said we would be very happy to go again.
Outstanding food and service and being able to sit at the desert counter to watch the deserts being made (and eaten) also with a clear view into the open kitchen was a treat. Only qualification was seating arrangements. We were fortunate not to be seated where most couples were along the restaurant sides where the tables are so close that you might as well be dining with the couple on either side !
Recently went to PSS and had the set lunch menu which was delicious & excellent value with the complimentary amuse bouche & petit fours and extra celebratory pudding! The service was also excellent. Restaurant informal & relaxed . My only criticism is the noise level. Very noisy & difficult to hear the waiter explaining the dishes as they were served. Otherwise totally recommend.
Absolutely excellent in every way, this is a truly special experience experience from start to finish. The seafood platter was astonishing (particularly the raw scallop) and the invitation to the pastry table was more than welcome! Thanks so much for a wonderful evening :-)
We had the taster menu and although there were one or two exceptions it was a disappointment. The turbot was overcooked, the scallop cold and unappealing, the beef tough, and the main dessert over the top chocolate. Service was fair but the ambience is poor from the fact that there is a scrum of waiters behind the table. Compared very poorly with other Michelin star establishments where we have eaten.
Wonderful warm welcome and amazing set lunch! Food was fabulous and we will definitely return!
Brilliant lunch. My only tiny reservation would be large numbers of covers that made things a little noisy. But I guess it would be hard to offer the amazing value with fewer customers
During the vegan tasting menu I was served dairy ice cream........
Truly the greatest meal I have ever had. Perfect atmosphere. Thankyou.
I have done this many times already to a number of family and friends and none have come away disappointed
I booked lunch for 1 person and had a very nice table. Service was very friendly and professional. The restaurant has a nice buzzy feel and the food was great. I went for the a la carte option.
I would certainly go again, yes it's not cheap but felt price/quality was very good.
I was disappointed with our meal here. For a very expensive restaurant, I was frankly disappointed with the service which felt more Nandos than Michelin star. There was no attentiveness or warmth from our waiter, who although visibly busy, did not take any time to explain the dishes, and put the plates and cutlery down with force and at one point I had to stop a knife rolling off the table. A smashed wine glass (it happens), and too many dessert courses on the tasting (4 in total with petit fours), where an additional savoury dish would have been warranted, left us feeling underwhelmed. I am surprised this has a Michelin star with such service on offer. Would not recommend or return.
Simply the best place - loved all the food - Felt very spoilt. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.
I have already sent an email to restaurant via reservations email address.
Perfect and amazing lunch with my daughter. The food, sevices, ambiance,.....everything was perfect!
Amazing service and beautiful food. Wine list is impressive as well.
Our 4th visit to Pollen Street and again it didn’t disappoint. Food was fabulous, especially the mushroom tea! We had great service and attention from Elton and look forward to coming back in the near future.
