Great cocktails and atmosphere, and the live band were fantastic. Not overpowering.

Prices were a little steep but not excessively so.

The service was excellent so I don't object to the service charge being included in the bill, but 12.5% is rather high.

The bar is beautiful, with stylish furniture and nicely laid out. The drinks were great and the chairs comfortable. The only slight negative is that despite booking a space for 5pm, no one came to take our orders once seated, despite been told we’d have a waiter. In the end, we waited 20mins and then asked to be served, which was a bit of a let down. Overall though, staff were friendly, and it’s a cool venue.

Was staying at the hotel with my husband and really like the idea of the love band while we had drinks and food. Had a lovely lady called Maria looking after our table who was very helpful while I went back and forth over the menu trying to find something I could eat. Also came over to see if everything was ok even when it got very busy. Will be going again.

Our seats were at the bar area. Not easy to eat a proper meal where the table is knee height. Overpriced bar food.

It’s a hotel bar in a sleek, corporate hotel in a desolate spot by the Thames. The singer & musician were good, but the atmosphere was what one would expect in an impersonal hotel bar. The wait staff seemed exhausted. If you’re not a hotel guest, don’t bother.

This was a described as a hip and trendy bar, but in fact it's just a hotel bar! The Park Plaza is just a bog standard conference hotel. Sorry Primo but you're not being honest with your advertising.

The bar was fun and well designed. It was at 8pm still full of families with children. The band looked good at 8pm but in an hour and half they did no more than tune up. I’m sure with the right band and a bit later time slot this is a cool evening venue.

Very nice venue and pleasant surroundings as part of the hotel. Comfortable seating and good noise level, still able to have a conversation while listening to great music.
Will definitely be back.

Primo Bar. Met friends for lunch. Having made a booking in what I thought was their restaurant I was told that the restaurant was closed and that the booking was for the bar area. Not ideal, but given that we had tickets for a matinee show we decided to stay. The service was a bit slow. Food was average. Underwhelmed.

The main course was OK. We normally look at the dessert menu after the main course and decide. More often than not we don't order dessert but felt a little hungry still, so were open to persuasion. We waited for our plates to be cleared. We were the only customers in the restaurant area when we arrived. Another couple arrived later, but guests were still outnumbered by staff. Nevertheless, there was not attempt to clear our plates for about ten minutes whilst our waitress chatted to a colleague or passed by without stopping. We weren't offered a dessert menu, which is unusual, and didn't feel like asking for one. We're not really fussy but we got the impression that no one was really that bothered. We bought some puddings in the Coop on the way home, so saved some money!

Great venue, great staff, great cocktails and great live acoustic set up. What I didn’t realise was that this was the hotel bar and as a result guest were downstairs dressed very casually with their kids....there were a lot of kids which came as a surprise. I also made an effort with my attire so to be there with people wearing tracksuits was a little off putting but as it is a hotel bar this is to be expected I guess. The live singer was awesome but she only did covers to cater for the hotel crowd. She actually has recorded some great original material but I guess the hotel wanted to cater towards its wide array of guests hence only pop covers. I may come back but it will be for a more causual affair than a date.

An interesting mix of a high end bar and a restaurant, with live music that is a focus of attention. However, the band were great, and the atmosphere was good and I must say they do get the balance right. The staff were attentive and the service was excellent. For a laid back date, drinks and a bite with live music I would recommend for sure.

I booked an area to go with work colleagues for drinks. When we arrived, no staff was visible so l just planted my Group at a reserved area assuming it was booked for us.
We ordered drinks at the bar so no staff came to take our orders. For the price we paid, a Singapore Sling tasted nothing like one. It’s a lovely bar and we all enjoyed the live music. I’ve had food here before and wasn’t impressed. Service needs to improve for such a nice place and if you’re going to charge £££ for cocktails, you need a Mixologist who knows what these cocktails actually taste like. I could make a better one. On overall, we did enjoy the night.

Really enjoyed my visit and loved the live music so much we cancelled eating out and just snacked with a shared American platter for 2, an OK experience although very well presented, the sliders were very dry and I was left with a delicate stomach the next morning. The Bar snacks in the Radio Bar in the ME hotel are far superior.
This is a nice find only a few moments from Waterloo or Westminster station, prices aren't too bad with good live music and a relaxed vibe where you can talk and still hear yourself think. if the food is improved its a good find.

Really lovely bar, great service and delicious cocktails. The food looked amazing but sadly we had dinner plans elsewhere so will have to go back for the sharing platters another time. Shame the live music wasn't due on until 9pm. I booked a table via Bookatable but had an email the next day saying I hadn't shown so someone didn't manage the booking at the other end! Overall, i loved it and would return

Stayed at the Hotel on the bank holiday weekend with family, booked a table in the Primo Bar as the food and drinks are always excellent.

The James Bond Band / Singers were an added bonus, we had been out for the day and so wanted somewhere with atmosphere where we could be comfortable and enjoy our evening at the end of a busy day.

This is one of many visits to the Hotel and look forward to returning again soon.

Staff and service always excellent.

Thank you

We were not really happy with the Primo bar. Service was slow and only one waitress was on the floor. Food was not good either. Waitress looked stressed and we didnt feel really welcomed.
We celebrated my friend's birthday. We asked the staff to put the lights on and bring it to the table after dinner. They said no as we didnt order the cake from them...I have never heard something like that before...We have been there last year. Was the same occasion. We brought the cake what one of my friend baked herself and we had it there ?! Moreover we had to pay £2.5 charge for the plates to have it there?! Absolutely ridiculous! And when we had to accept this charge we had to wait an other 20 mins for those plates... this night ruined my friends birthday.
The drinks are very expensive. A retro fun night was announced but instead of that we had a boring band with classic music...
We decided not to visit there again. I cant recommend at all Im afraid
