Pennethorne’s Bar is named after Sir James Pennethorne the 19th century English architect who designed the New Wing and inspired by his travels across Europe following the Grand Tour. The menu brings classic flavours from his Grand Tour travels to France and Italy with a modern English twist. Open from early morning through to evening, Monday to Friday. Our artisan menu has been carefully selected by Head Chef Richard Robinson, with each dish representing one of the exciting destinations that Sir James Pennethorne visited on the Grand Tour. Capacities: Standing reception up to 40, boardroom meeting up to 26 and seated breakfasts, lunches, dinners up to 36. For more info and availability, please call the team on 020 7845 4651.

Beautifully designed to complement the adjacent bar, the Drawing Room is a versatile private room, available to hire for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Discreetly hidden from view, it is nonetheless very much part of Pennethorne’s Bar.
