Prix Fixe Brasserie
All jolly good
Fantastic food & service. This is consistently a great place to hang out in Soho. Never disappoints !
The service was great and quick.. the food was absolutely delicious and we had a great time..
Everything is clean, Staff is kind. Food is excellent!
Excellent food but being inside when most tables outside meant some delay in being waited on Will return as good value
Great food quality. Well spaced tables outside - lucky it was not raining. If only the government would allow tables on the street all year around with European type awnings.
First time back at PF after lockdown. Sat outside in the ‘new’ terrace area on a warm evening. Always good vale for money at PF.
We’ve been visiting Prix Fixe for about eight years and the food is consistently excellent, the service is always good and it’s great value for money. I cannot recommend it more highly. Clare
Food is great. The problem is that staff do not keep reasonable distance and do not wear masks.
First meal out since lockdown so we wanted a nice place to celebrate. We had an amazing first experience here and decided to come back. Had the 2 course set menu including the brie and hake which was decent though not very tasty, quality of ingredients was not amazing. The ambience was very good as we had plenty of space, social distancing and classy decor.
I love Prix Fixe- its menu is simple but has everything you need. Everyone will find something for themself- steak, boeuf bourguignon, hummus shakshuka or goat cheese salad. Great choice of wines and affordable!
My friend of mine made a habit of coming here together for quite a while now, so naturally, when lockdown was lifted off of restaurants, we booked a table straight away. Everything was just as we remembered. We highly recommend people to go and support them.
The food and service were great. I have a starter of squid rings which was ok6/10, but the main course Steak was amazing 9.5/10.
The restaurant seems to have adapted well to the Covid situation.
I have been to this restaurant several times and can always recommend it!
A most enjoyable meal. The fixed price menu is very good value.
Food fine, very similar to its sister restaurant Pierre Victorie which we normally use. Very quiet when we went at lunchtime. Most people eating outside, and we were actually the first to get a table inside. Whilst there only 2 other groups came inside so lots of distance between diners. Very little evidence of additional precautions in response to COVID 19, especially compared to the place we eat at the previous week.
So good to be back . Great food and super lovely staff
I took my mum to Prix Fixe as we were meant to be holidaying in Paris for her birthday but the trip was cancelled due to coronavirus. We were able to get the next best thing at this lovely brasserie. It always astonishes me that the food is so delicious, varied and abundant at such affordable costs. Staff were really attentive and kind as usual. Thoroughly recommend it!
Lovely pre theatre dinner. Great value for money great location for theatre. Excellent friendly service. Will definitely re visit
This restaurant consistently produces lovely food. The menu is varied and caters for plant and meat eaters, so perfect for groups. The lunch and theatre menus offer extraordinary value, especially given the location.
Laurance and his team are professional and attentive.
It is a pleasure to go and know you will come away having enjoyed a delicious, well prepared meal.
This is the second meal we've had with different sets of friends at Prixe Fixe and, on both occasions, the food has been good, the service friendly but efficient and the ambience pleasant. As enjoyable as the buzz of a busy restuarant can be, my hearing is now impaired and I was glad that, on both occasions we have visited the restaurant, it has not been particularly crowded. I hope, though, for the restuarant's sake that this is not always the case.
Excellent food as always, great that their French Onion soup was on the Specials board otherwise xI would have been really disappointed.
Great for pre theatre dinner. Good quality, freshly prepared French dishes and great service.
We booked to celebrate our daughter’s 21st and really enjoyed the meal.
We arrived 20 mins earlier than planned and were made very welcome.
Would certainly recommend to others and hope to pay a return visit sometime.
Booked table for 12.45 and we were out for 2pm for our matinee, which was perfect! The food was delicious and excellent value. We especially enjoyed the salmon aracini starter! Thank you, we will be back!
Ideal for pre theatre supper, good service, good food and didn't feel rushed.
Good selection of starters and mains, including vegetarian options. The set lunch is excellent value.
Pre-Ronnie Scott dinner.
Lovely place nice warm welcome and service. Good varied menu. Couple of niggles - potatoes on both our mains weren’t hot. Creme brûlée was too liquid. Would definitely give it another go
Overall some of the best value in town for a meal. The staff were amazingly friendly on the night. I didn't catch their names but overall they all should be thanked for who was working on the night that I was there.
As a regular to Prix Fixe it is great to be able to say the standard of the food is always great. Friendly staff who are also efficient. We particularly like the steaks here.
My wife and I had an early pre theatre supper at 4:30pm Friday 28th Feb. The ambience is warm, welcoming and, once the lights are dimmed in the evening, very romantic too.
The service was faultless from all the staff. Uniformly, they were all attentive without being pushy, polite and friendly without being overly familiar.
A jug of iced water was brought to the table straight away. So much nicer than feeling pressured to by expensive bottled water. Complimentary mini baguette with French butter was also a welcome surprise. Most places in London would have charged for this.
My wife had salt & pepper Calamari to start. It was tasty and cooked well and a very generous portion size.
I had the best French Onion soup I’ve ever had - deep and rich in flavour.
My wife’s main course herb crusted pollock was perfectly cooked and my Toulouse sausages with garlic mash came with a delicious meaty gravy.
The wine list, as you’d expect is comprehensive but offers a large choice of wines by the glass, small and large in addition to 500ml carafes.
Surprisingly though, they don’t only offer French wines.
There were plenty of New World choices as well as Italian and Spanish wines.
I had a 500ml carafe of the merlot which was the perfect accompaniment to the sausages.
We finished with a tarte tatin. There were other French classics- mousse chocolat and creme brûlée but also banoffi pie and affogato.
This is traditional, hearty home French cooking at its best and at unbelievably affordable prices in the middle of Soho.
2 courses are £16.90 but lunch is even cheaper at £12.90.
There seemed to be a lot of regulars when we went - taking advantage of the early bird discounts and I can see why - if I lived or worked nearby this would be my go to place for a lunch with a friend, or supper.
Congratulations to the owners and staff for offering a comprehensive no nonsense French bistro menu at such great prices.
Our new favourite French Restaurant.
Very good lunch, only £12.90 for 2 courses. Good food & service & reasonably priced wine. Would recommend & will definitely go back
Best meal in a long time! The restaurant was lovely, great ambiance with a cosy yet upbeat feel. The service was incredible, our waiter was polite, friendly and knowledgable! The steak tar tar was the best I’ve tasted, and the tuna was cooked to perfection! Amazing location, if you’ve been shopping or a pre show dinner. Prices were very reasonable for food and wine. I will definitely be back!
Superb value for money with excellent choice, food and service.
I often use this lovely French restaurant in Soho, has a very good set menu which changes regularly, good fresh ingredients, as well as alcarte. Good affordable wine list.
The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly.
My first stop for dinner every time in London! The menu is diverse, so always try something new. The goat cheese and pear salad was delicious for my starter, and my entree was the duck confit, which was very tasty! No dessert as I had already had my carb intake for the day, but go for the tarte tatin if you have room!
Excellent food and service. We will come back again for sure.
Just meeting an Oz friend. Food and service excellent. I really like this little place so central and food always tasty.
I love Prix Fixe. It is great value and the menu is always changing. Brilliant food and service.
