Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato Chutney, Braised Wild Boar, Caramelized Onion, Basil Aioli, Lettuce
Tossed in Italian Seasoning, Thornloe Blue Cheese Dip
Crispy Calamari, Fennel Apple Slaw, Lime Siracha Aioli
To say we where disappointed is an understatement.
For the price the food was terrible.
My wife had bruscetta, very thin, hard slices of bread with tomatoes thrown on top for 12 dollars.
I had calamari that was ok considering it came out of a frozen package for 14 dollars.
We both had Braised beef shortribs. A small piece of meat, no bone, brown sauce on top. 2 1/2 fingerling potatoes on top of a white sauce. A cold slice of a long mushroom along with a cold, undercooked brocoli spear that was more stem than top. Cold marinated onion slices. $28.00, says 26 on the web site !
The palce looked tired with very few customers for a Friday night.
Will never go back nor recommend.
Outdoor covered porch with heater was amazing . Food was delicious. Service attentive .
Food was absolutely delicious, presented beautifully, waitress was friendly and informative. Perfect night out in a lovely atmosphere.
The meal at Puddycomb was excellent and we had a good conversation with friends. Perfect way to celebrate our motor solo Thanksgivinh
Well worth the price considering the portions were great, the ingredients fresh and seasonal, and both the pizza and cornish hen we had were delicious. Atmosphere was lovely with heaters and excellent service on the veranda. We ate there for an anniversary dinner, and would 100% go back.
A great/luxurious base for the fall colours, and Stratford theatre.
Excellent. We’ll be back. Great service and food. Nice setting
Great Food Great Service. Beautiful setting enjoyed the newly covered porch with heaters
Our server, Emma, was fantastic in her knowledge of food and wine. On her recommendation, I selected the penne with chorizo sausage and creme sauce. Excellent! I shared calamari with my dining companion who also enjoyed her deep fried ravioli. We savoured every minute of our dining experience in the Italian design homestead.
Food was fantastic! Fresh ingredients and piping hot upon delivery to table. Server respected we were having a “girls catch up dinner” and was more than understanding, not rushing us at all. Would love to return during patio season as it looks beautiful!
so nice to have such a lovely spot outside during this difficult time. the food was excellent and the server wonderful
This place was so beautiful and staff was beyond friendly. The food was amazing!!!
We ordered the deep fried ravioli which was super crisp on the outside and dipping sauce was perfect. We also ordered the Italian chicken wings. They were superb and even my husband who isn't much of a chicken wing connoisseur, love them. Next we had the puddicomb za pizza... so good! I haven't had a good pizza like this in a while. My hubby had the handheld chicken parm sandwich and he was quite pleased with it too. The drinks were the only thing that could maybe be improved upon. My hubby ordered the gin and vermouth and he had a hard time with it, not the greatest. I ordered a gin and tonic which is my go to and I didn't care for it either so guessing maybe the gin is what wasn't so good. Ordered a mojito and it was tasty but only because it tasted like a lemonade. Couldn't get much of the mint taste in it. We didn't order dessert as we were pretty full but I could see it on other people's tables and they looked lovely.
Every time we’ve eaten at Puddlecombes, we’ve also had amazing meals and great service. We can’t wait to go back!
Our favorite spot. Good patio, fires in center of tables. Food is next level. Chicken Parm blew my mind.
We ate indoors in a small dining room socially distanced from other tables. The food was excellent and the service perfect. The restaurant did it's best to keep us safe while still giving us the service required.
Wine menu was pricey but otherwise all good. Will definitely be back
Absolutely amazing. Thank you.
Great lunch, Stromboni and fries. Fries were the best I have had in a long time. Warm day so we were outside. (COVID) A few Hornets, but that is the way it is this time of year.
Beautiful place and good food. Service was slow but friendly. Will go back.
It was an anniversary dinner. Lyle and Karen are wonderful hosts and the food as always is simply amazing.
Very nice & convenient, food was great, service attentive and ambience delightful. We enjoyed a good lunch there and will surely come back.
We had lunch on the large veranda, and ordered from the appetizer portion of the menu. Service was prompt. The servings were ample ( a salad and wings), nicely presented and delicious.
I will definitely return to Puddicombe House.
It was an amazing experience. Food was delicious and service was great.
You are fortunate to have a more than suitable outdoor dining area during these difficult Covid times, and you have made the most of that, especially in terms of ambience.
Our favourite spot for a nice dinner. Options for everyone. Wonderful service and charming vibe.
Wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers dinners and desserts. The flavoured mojitos were phenomenal. The table that was in the room beside was a bit loud to my liking but it didn't spoil my experience :)
Great setting, great food; will definitely be visiting again!
We were celebrating my Birthday, I had the Mahi Mahi which was delicious. My partner had the pork tenderloin which was also amazing. Definitely worth the money.
Beautifully presented and tasting food in a lovely patio setting. I would have given 5 stars for the food except I thought my ravioli main tended towards the sweet and the cup of coffee and dessert were priced quite high. My daughter’s penne was lovely and rich. The salad was very large, delicious and suitable for sharing. Will definitely return - especially as they are adding heaters for the fall.
The food and service was incredible, and the surroundings were lovely. However, the wasps were pretty bad on the veranda and the establishment would benefit from hanging some catchers to help. It really undermined an otherwise very enjoyable experience.
Lovely location for a special porch lunch or dinner. A little pricey - food and service was very good.
The bees were bothersome on the porch - but, not the restaurant’s fault.
They moved us inside quickly as one of our table mates had an allergy to bees
All in all a lovely experience
Lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. We were celebrating my husband's 65th birthday. We had never been, we will most certainly return. A real gem in an unsuspecting area.
Very nice lunch on the veranda.
Had dinner Sat night with friends limited menu but everyone found something they liked. Nice portion sizes, nice selections of drinks, service was very good. Very nice evening for outside dining all in all we enjoyed it. Perfect timing between coarses gave us lots of time to chat and we never felt rushed...we will return
A lovely night out. The food and ambiance was fantastic. We may be in a pandemic but for a few hours it was easy to forget and have a relaxing, tasty dinner. We will be back.
great food - amazing appetizer - very nice service
Was very excited to be on the porch level of the house.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious.
Really enjoyed my experience!
Had the date night special - excellent. Service very good.
The food and the service were very good. Unfortunately the wasps were irritable making our lunch less enjoyable. Overall, a lovely place to go for lunch.
Lovely set up outside, attentive service & delicious food.
