Pure Indian Cooking
Owned by the husband and wife team of Faheem Vanoo and Shilpa Dandekar, both of whom started their careers with the famed Taj group in India, PURE Indian Cooking opened in 2015.
Since then, with Faheem managing front of house and Shilpa, who has worked with such masterchefs as the legendary Raymond Blanc OBE and Sriram Aylur of the Michelin starred Quilon, heading the kitchen, the restaurant has amassed a strong following as a refined as an exceedingly good local restaurant, with many clientele calling it a London “West End restaurant in Fulham!”
We would be delighted to see you at PURE Indian Cooking so please come and share in our warmth, fabulous food and drink and wonderful hospitality.
Pistachio Chicken Curry

Orange and Tamarind Chicken Tikka

Halibut Fish Curry

We love the food .
Very good find in Fulham
Excellent Indian food, tastes freshly prepared
very good Indian food with some exotic twists... well worth a visit
We had the tasting menu and it was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had (we have had many!) It was one Michelin star standard food. They could have changed the music - it was on loop and a bit annoying but otherwise faultless.
This is the best Indian restaurant we’ve visited in London. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. Service was perfect. Try this address!
We’ll definitely be ordering for takeaway during lockdown!!
I really want to keep this a secret, but its just too good to keep to myself. Incredible food. Cant recommend more highly.
First class dining experience: great wine to match the fine dining experience, service full of care and attention. Much better quality, value and experience than in our last five one star and two stars at the Michelin. Please try it!
Excellent as ever. Nothing else to say and making this up to 50 characters!
It’s a good restaurant to eat, wine is a little pricey. Parking could be an issue
As always Pure Indian was amazing! Good food, good vibe and the staff were amazing and knew every answer to our questions. Top stuff
Amazing as always! I can’t stop thinking about the mussel soup and the pistachio chicken- yum!
Very nice dinner with a friend on Wednesday night, very good food and friendly and efficient service. Nice quiet restaurant, would definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed eating here. The menu is more modern and creative than many 'traditional' indian restaurants.
Always a pleasure to eat at Pure Indian Restaurant and delighted they are now, once again, able to offer dining in
Pure is one of our favourite local restaurants. Never lets us down , always totally delicious.
Food just fab
Great food and the server stopped us from ordering too much. And he was right.
We were visiting London and took a chance but really enjoyed the small Pure Indian Cooking restaurant. Next time we will try more of the dishes.
Pure offers different and original Indian cooking in a friendly atmosphere. The menu changes regularly so a repeat visit is often an adventure, guided by the knowledgeable staff.
Fusion Indian food, amazing menu, I wanted to try everything on it. Loved the flavours and textures of the meals we had (strongly recommend the lobster), the service was very good and so was the Indian wine.
Food was delicious, staff helpful and talkative. An enjoyable place, especially as it was so quiet when we went (for most of the meal we were the only 2 people in the restaurant). Would gladly go back (and probably will), and happily recommend to friends.
Have been here many times and always good .Probably one of the best restaurants in west London
I have ordered food from Pure for home delivery and the quality and flavour is always good. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant and would definitely recommend eating there as we will do again soon.
Amazing Indian food. Chef Shilpa has trained at leading hotels in India. Gourmet cuisine.
Excellent service. We keep coming back.
An interesting varied and unusual menu. Really different and wonderful fusion of flavours and combinations using the best and freshest ingredients. Also lovely cocktails. A really special dining experience. Highly recommended
Only criticism is no accessible ladies. Should be mentioned on website as it refers to step free access. But food and service both excellent.
As we live very near to Pure Indian cooking we cant believe that something so good was on our doorstep and we haven’t been before now.
The food was in a different league to any of the other Indian restaurants nearby, in fact any of the Indian restaurants we have been to recently. The service was great, the whole experience was exceptional and we really can’t wait to return.
The food was amazing in its variety and delicious taste. Outstanding. Our only slight criticism is the one hour delay in serving even our first course, probably caused by the continuous delivery drivers collection of take away food.
Not your average Indian. Food was exquisite and definitely a good choice for those wanting Indian cuisine with a twist. Slightly pricey.
Amazing delicious food. A bit expensive but worth it. Minimalistic in terms of decor, unusually for an Indian. One of the best Indian restaurants in London.
Excellent Indian dining experience. A little bit different to your run of the mill place where the food was great and the welcome was good. I dined early, around 1800 when they opened as I was attending a music event locally and needed to be away by 1930 so restaurant not overly busy. Despite this I felt valued and timing was perfect. Will definitely return
Excellent food but the service was slower than I would have liked,
Outstanding Indian food as it should be. A million miles from Curry House generic Curry.
We will be back!
Extremely tasty food, with a friendly and attentive (but not over attentive) staff.
Amazing inventive food. Excellent service
The only misfit is the actual restaurant as has been said before many times. Needs a serious upgrade.
We will go again.
First visit was exceptional. Second visit food delivery was very slow (1hr) and starters delivered cold (should have been hot). We were sat near the front door which was constantly be allowed to bang loudly on closing. Disappointing experience.
I never leave reviews for anything but I just had to for this place. I had the achari broccoli and the chicken mongolese and it was exquisite. It’s now my new favourite Indian place. The value for money was brilliant and the staff were really attentive but not too attentive. Seriously, go to this place.
A new menu from this amazing contemporary Indian restaurant...wow! As a regular diner, I'm eating my way through it. Totally recommend all new dishes I've tried, not least the stonebass with mussels, mustard sauce and samphire pakora - for fish lovers like myself; it's a delight. Tamarind and Orange chicken is also delicious. The set lunch menu is still available with dishes of the standard you'd expect from Pure Indian Cooking. Go enjoy!
