Since we live in the neighborhood we had always wanted to go to the Pyramid Club. We jumped at the opportunity when - of all days Valentine's was available. It was spectacular in so many ways. I expected it to be many $$$$ but $440 (including 20% tip) for 2? Wow! To be clear it was Prix fix $75 per, wine pairing $50 per with two cocktails and one coffee. I think what surprised us was the fact we had but 1 glass of wine each for the $100 total!
terrible service. Terrible food too. very disappointed.
It was very nice employees were attentive other guests at the bar were nice and talkative. We didn’t pick the best night for views but it was the night we were in the city.
Staff at the front desk was rude from the
minute I walked in. If you don’t want people from opentable to come to your fancy club then don’t put it on open table.
The new Chef, Sylva Senat, really impressed us with the food. It was very delicious and much improved since our last visit. The staff there is really warm and welcoming.
Although the view is spectacular and the menu reasonably priced, we cannot comment on the quality of the food since we waited nearly three hours to be served. After a wait of two hours, the general manager approached us with apologies stating that our entrees fell to the floor. By the time our platters arrived,
we were already on our way out the door. Under the circumstances we feel that the management should have offered to provide us with a full meal at a future time at no cost. Such an offer was never made.
There are too many fine restaurants to patronize without returning to The Pyramid Club.
I took my mom here for Mother's Day. The food was good, not exceptional. The service was okay..once another waiter picked up our table because the waitress who had our table did not come and great us or check on us for at least 15-20 minutes after we were seated.
It turns out that after we made reservations and got an email confirming it, we got to the restaurant and we were told that it was a private club and only open a few reservations to the public and that our reservation did not show in their system! Needless to say we had to go else where. Not too happy!
A great place to eat with a super view. The staff was wonderful, kind and very attentive to our needs yet blended into the background for most of the night. I went for a business / family dinner and brought our toddler with us. There is a kids menu that has some very tasty options and comes with desert! I have read some reviews that say the club is stuffy and cold but i found it to be anything but that. It was more like having a catered dinner at my home, but with a fantastic view of downtown Philly!
The service was spectacular, and the price, especially wine was reasonable for such a wonderful dining experience
