Quaglino's has been the star of St James's since it opened all the way back in 1929. It has hosted royalty, nobility and famously got a nod in Absolutely Fabulous, but it's not all style over substance, this is a class act.
If you take a trip down that iconic staircase you'll find exceptional food, wonderful wines and one of the capital's most decadent restaurant interiors.

What a fabulous evening, food, wine and the jazz duo were sublime. This is quaglinos at its best. This is a must return.
Love the place, excellent atmosphere, the service is excellent, they are all very friendly. The people that go there are also excellent
First time visiting and I wasn’t overly impressed from the get go. Our table was not ready until 9pm and we got kicked off our table at 10:30... you can hardly digest your food in that small space of time. The waiter was not attentive, we had to ask for the cocktail menu twice, menu isn’t vast and the food was average for what we paid. I don’t think it’s professional for anyone to bring you your bill when you’ve not requested it and because we didn’t pay immediately, the waiter threatened to bring over the manager. I just think the whole experience wasn’t one to remember. The venue itself is lovely and the live singing is great but that’s all I have to say.
Great food and super service. Kevin took very good care of us. Ideal for a pre theatre meal.
Actually one of the best places in London
Really pleased with our dinning experience. The ambience was top notch—romantic vibe, music was great, staff were friendly and food was fantastic! This is definitely not going to be my last booking here. I can say it’s a gem in London and worth every penny - you can never go wrong!
Fantastic I m very enjoy
Very nice venue for lunch. Had a three course set menu with a glass of Prosecco. Great value and excellent service throughout. Will come back one evening to enjoy the live band. Reccommend.
Went for brunch with a friend on Sunday,
Attentive service, food was delicious, lovely atmosphere.
Quite a busy place for brunch but still not excessively noisy.
Both food and drinks on time and also my guest was quite happy with the experience.
Definitely going back.
Q brunch for my bday was amazing! The Dj and my company made it 0 times better as well...! Quaglinos never disappoints!!!
Would have scored higher but music is too loud. You have to shout to be heard by the person next to you. Otherwise great venue.
Wonderful location with a beautiful bar in the middle of the venue. Later in the evening they do also have a live band.
Staff was friendly, food was delicious.
Definitely a place to recommend.
What could have been a great evening was soured at end of the evening, when waiter brought over 1/2 bottle of our unfinished wine, we had been buying cocktails and gins as we thought it had run out.
The meal was over £300 for two so you would expect better service than this.
I have no complaints about the rest of the evening, the music, food, our table & the cocktails were top notch.
Come on guys need to iron issues like this out.
There was a set menu at 100£ each. We weren’t told in advance.
We were suddenly asked to leave the Table after 2 hours. Very annoying on a big occasion valentines!! The staff were rushing us.
We weren’t clearly warned of this. Not when booking or when arriving. Embarrassing. And ruined the vibe.
The music was too loud and intrusive. It was v good music but we weren’t there for a rock concert. .
Asked waiter and waitress twice for a desert menu, but I was ignored. Asked for drinks menu which was brought to me 15mins later but nobody came to take the order. I was there for a valentines meal but the service for truly appalling. When our starter and main arrived I felt rushed to eat it as they asked twice if I finished when I clearly still had food on my plate. Originally requested to be seated close to the stage but we were seated near the stairs. Portions were very small but tasty but unfortunately we left hungry and annoyed with the service after spending over £200. Will not visit again.
Really good food and ambience. Thoroughly recommend
What a shame. You could always rely on Quags but the reduced and limited menu is disappointing and quite frankly the food wasn’t what it should be. Maybe we picked the wrong time (2200) and it was getting quiet but the atmosphere also felt a bit restrained
Really great food, I recommend the offer from open table as its great value
Bit loud - but great food and great venue. Bit pricey as a restaurant but good value as a venue.
For the low quality of the food, it was extremely expensive. Beautiful venue but filled with a bit of a tacky looking crowd dressed ready to go clubbing.
Service was very rushed and felt like they wanted the table back as quickly as possible. Would not recommend.
Unfortunately, it was too loud. I prefer when there is a live act playing, rather than a DJ.
Fantastic decor, service and food . Great atmosphere- would recommend this place , suitable for all age groups .
We had an excellent server called Roxy and thought that the set menu was good value for money
Service was was very poor. Rude staff.
Whole evening was 10/10 from start to finish. Food, entertainment, decor. Is expensive but you get what you pay for
Couldn’t fault it would go back
Food is far too pricey for the quality you get
The best 3 courses I’ve had for £30. Superb value
Amazing customer service and experience, from the reception to the waiters and the location itself.
Food was very tasty too! I loved the risotto and the creme brûlée desert!
Not so appropriate the extra charges (even if optional) in the bill for charity and live music band...Except that I loved everything
29th wedding Aniversary Luca Di Ninno was a great host and made us very welcome we will return ASAP
Food, venue and atmosphere was very good. Service was rushed and flaky.
The waiters were stretched too thin and were not giving enough attention to the table. i.e. you put a basket of bread for 6people on the table with 5 pieces of bread! Table not cleared quickly. Waiter spilling drinks when topping up. This is no reflect to the waiter’s skills, they were just running!
We had a good time nevertheless.
Enjoyed our time and the food took a little bit longer than you would expect but very good place for dinner and a bit of live music.
Lovely and well presented food and great atmosphere at a great price. The staff on the front desk were friendly and informative.
Great atmosphere; the service was without fail just quite a hefty bill.
Very lovely atmosphere and great service! Opted for the brunch menu with bottomless Prosecco and the waiter was topping us up even after our dessert!!
This was part of the ES set menu month. The menu was good, suited our party with enough choice for the vegetarians. Starter and main were good but the goats cheese dessert was absolutely not worth the extra £10 on top of the 2 course menu price. Service was bizarre alternating between a really brusque waitress who seemed to want to get through the service as fast as possible and other waiters who were charming. There seemed to be a plethora of staff until you actually needed them eg to order extra wine ( another £10 per glass! Or to pay the bill. I have been several times before with live music which has been nice but this time the singer was overly amplified making conversation impossible- it was like trying to talk during a concert. All in all Avery disappointing experience - their other nearby restaurant - the Avenue is much better value, less obtrusive but professional service and the food is similarity’s
