The food, music, and staff were amazing. Had the best night and will defiantly go back
The ambience and internal decor is outstanding!... I must confess that the food was fair and quite expensive..
Excellent for a ladies birthday brunch, the staff were fabulous.
Food was really good and the wine list is very reasonable. The waiter service and the handling of dirty plates could be improved.
Great food and service
The quality of food is decent. However, the environment is overly deafening; the presence and additional cost for the live band was entirely pointless, and even added to the tumultuous ambiance.
The whole experience from entering until leave was excellent. All members thought the menu and the food as presented was extremely good
The food was good and the band was amazing - however our waitress would ask us for the our order then turn around with look of stone and stomp away - which is unprofessional to say the least . But as we were having a good time we just thought it should not spoil the evening . The manager was fine ( when I paid he offered to take the service off ) and we even paid the service at that point however in Mayfair one has a lot of choice the prices do not reflect the service provided . That needs to be improved .
Open table good value deal at Quaglinos. The food was superb and service very attentive.
Terrible service, very slow and not enough waiters on the floor. Good ambience, was not asked what our special occasion was and no anniversary plate was presented.
Great service and good food in magnificent surroundings.
I’ve been to Quaglino’s a few times before and I have always had a good experience there. I will be back again I’m sure. 😀
I will highly recommend this place.
I have dined at Quaglino’s several times. On this occasion it was my mum’s Christmas present, I took to the theatre and then for dinner at Quaglino’s where my husband also joined us. I did request that we had a really nice table when I made the booking, instead we were been shoved by the bar with no view of the stage. I told the waiter I was disappointed and he moved us, but we were told the only table available was right at the very front, right by the stage. I saw several free tables around there, so not sure why we were sat directly there. I loved the music and entertainment, but it was extremely difficult to try and have a conversation. My mum is a little deaf and really struggled to hear anything. It terms of the food, my husband and myself had an entree of oysters, they were really, really small. I felt overpriced for the size they were. For starters myself and my husband and the mackerel which was really nice and very tasty. My mum had the caramelised tart which was also very good. For mains we all went for beef bourguignon. Mine and my husbands was lovely, but mums beef was terribly fatty and she really didn’t enjoy it at all. Really they should of taken this off of our bill when I complained, but they just gave mum a free glass of wine. I did have a nice time, but felt that the service could of been better and they could of looked after us more. I also feel that the food is a little overpriced. However, I love the beautiful restaurant and the entertainment here so I would definitely dine here again, although I think it has put my mum off.
Great food and atmosphere. Love this place with live music making it a special evening.
Only offered al a Carte Menu shared a house prawn cocktail £23 3 prawns not deveined 2 small pieces of lobster a little avocado and a lot of lettuce. What a rip off!!. Main course of stone bass dry and tiny portion, chicken Ok but nothing special. No mention of being charged for music. Asked for a nice table when booking birthday celebration but sat right at the back behind a pillar no sight of the stage. This place is only bothered about numbers and not about individual needs or requests. Paid £167 for a forgettable night and wish we had gone elsewhere.
Come here every now and again and is a great place if you have a mixed group. We had the set menu Andy 3 courses and glad of bubbles for £30 and it was truly fab and great value. Highly recommend.
The Evening Standard menu was tasty and good value but our enjoyment was completely spoilt by the extremely noisy dining room which made it impossible to converse without shouting. The noise was due firstly to hard floors, no tablecloths and nothing else to absorb the sound of a busy dining room and this was made worse when a bad singer who shouted out of tune accompanied by a loud band.
Impressive iconic Restaurant which is good value for money if you get a pre theatre three course set deal. The bottomless glass on Sunday lunch is very good value for money. A favourite all time restaurant great place to take friends or family on a special occasion. Food is always well presented and if you go for the 3 course option very filling which is a bonus.
This was my birthday brunch celebration with a few a friends the service was great, food was lovely - excellent atmosphere!
Great dining and music
Lovely atmosphere and good deal
Beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Food is delicious, service is fast and friendly. Expect an extra charge of 4£ per person to attend to the music jazzy band.
A bit too loud and service not amazing but food and ambiance made up for it
Made the mistake of booking on a night when a guest singer was performing. Rather noise and more expensive. Food was good, though. Just check when booking!
I booked Quaglinos specifically for their Evening Standard menu in January, as I was feeling the pinch.
I was asked to confirm the booking which I did the day before, and when I got there I was given another set menu (not the Evening Standard menu) because a musician was playing that day so they had a more expensive deal on, and when I questioned this I was told that I could ONLY have that menu.
It would have been nice to have been warned about this.
So; I order three courses from the more expensive set menu, and to add insult to injury the table behind me was able to order from the main menu. Granted this was not the Evening Standard menu but I had been told I could ONLY order from the set 3 course menu.
I ordered red wine, I was brought white, the soup was poured into the bowl in front of me and splashed everywhere. If restaurants want to create theatre at the table, they should make sure it IS theatre and not just a sloppy mess that reaches my lap.
I have dined here before and have enjoyed it because it's such a lovely building/venue but now I would hesitate to go back.
We visited this iconic venue today and were thoroughly disappointed. I have been here a couple of times in the last few months and was unsure whether this restaurant really wants to serve lunch. Each time there was an element of rushing you through. Today it reached new heights, along with some arrogance thrown in. We were offered the lunch set menu, not enough choice, regular 3 starter, 3 mains etc. Nothing stood out, we requested the a la carte, not really much better, steak, chicken breast or duck leg and approximately 6 fish dishes.. tut tut.. settled for the whipped goats cheese and beetroot starter with a glass of Sauvignon (which did not taste like Sauvignon). We both ordered rib eye, 1 chips and 1 broccoli, the starters turned up fridge cold, tasted ok and within 2 or 3 minutes of of the starters being whisked away our mains turned up minus the broccoli, three dishes and they miss one out??! On top of that we were never asked whether we wanted any wine with our mains (having long since finished our small measure of white “something” Blanc..) the Italian manager Luca was present to try to save the day, unfortunately we were halfway through our meal before the broccoli arrived and the bottle of Zinfandel we ordered halfway through our main was not available (after ages of waiting) instead Luca decided that we should have a glass of red plonk that he managed to deliver just before we finished our last mouthful of rib eye.. great eh?
Luca’s considered managerial response to this total service breakdown was to remove the broccoli from the bill, well thanks Luca you certainly know how to make amends. He then even took the red wine he chose from our bill, also very nice of him, but not before he condescended to offering us the dessert menu, treacle tart and clotted cream, not bad.. but the overall impression given is one of arrogance from the manager, incompetence from the waiting staff and a desire to get the lunch customer in and out ASAP..
An awful experience.
Outstanding, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️there was a group of 9 of us, each and everyone was looked after along with the Sunday Soul Band...were all excited about returning.
Great entertainment! Good food
Great venue with a club like feel, excellant food and entertainment.
They forgot it was a special occasion and did nothing to take onboard it was a birthday dinner.
The food is average. Cooked well, but nothing remarkable about it.
The waiter was poor, asked us to leave the table as he wanted the next customers in.
Great ambience - It's lovely to enjoy a drink in the bar area upstairs, or whilst dining. Friday nights tend to get busier after 7:30pm which provides a nice, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend for a date night, dinner with family or friends. If you're looking for a cool place in London to make an impression, Quaglino's is perfect!
The £30 set menu is great value. Food was excellent.
The live music was too loud for a restaurant, could barely have a conversation
Great food, great service. Live music is nice touch & the ambience is spacious yet cosy.
Starter was awful (ham hock)..
we ordered a bottle of wine and the staff kept forgetting to fill our glasses. Right before leaving they realised there’s still wine left! Unacceptable.
Beautiful place, Amazing Ambience, Food was delicious, Band was great, Drinks are pricey
Excellent service and great food. Beautiful decor throughout. Excellent place with live music.
Birthday Saturday night out with friends
Had set 3 course menu £38 which included a glass of champagne so great value, food & drink good.
We sat right next to the stage, great position, Live band playing & dancing was encouraged around your table, was a fab evening.
Would highly recommend & can’t wait to return !
Lovely evening at Quaglino's as usual. Food and service were excellent. The venison fillet & the Chateaubriand were outstanding. The champagne was served at the perfect temperature and our glasses were refilled in a very timely manner.
Shame that the live band was so loud that you could not talk while they played.
Quagelinos has a lively athmosphere and impressive design. Food was great, small b'day treat for the b'day girl was much appreciated and the mix of people is fun. we love the bar and friendly service on top of the dining pleasure
Birthday my nephew.
Food was cold.
Music was little bored
